      • Overexpressed Derlin-1 Inhibits ER Expansion in the Endothelial Cells Derived from Human Hepatic Cavernous Hemangioma

        Proteins that are unfolded or misfolded in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) must be targeted for refolding or degradation to maintain the homeostasis of the ER. Derlin-1 was reportedly implicated in the retro-translocation of misfolded proteins from the ER to the cytosol for degradation. In this report, we showed that Derlin-1 was down-regulated in the endothelial cells derived from human hepatic cavernous hemangioma (CHEC) compared with other tested cells. Electron microscopy analysis showed that ER was aberrantly enlarged in CHEC cells, but not in other tested cells. When overexpressed, Derlin-1 induced the dilated ER to return normal size. This ER dynamic was associated with the activation of unfolded protein response (UPR). In CHEC cells where Derlin-1 was down-regulated, increased expression of the immunoglobulin heavy chain-binding protein (Bip) and UPR-specific splicing of X-box DNA-binding protein 1 (XBP1) mRNA were detected, as compared with that in other tested cells, indicating that UPR was activated. After Derlin-1 overexpression, the extent of UPR activation diminished, as evidenced by decreased expression of Bip, reduced amount of the spliced form of XBP1 ($XBP1_S$), and elevated expression of the unspliced form of XBP1 ($XBP1_U$). Taken together, these findings provide another example of a single protein being able to affect ER dynamic in mammalian cells, and an insight into the possible molecular mechanism(s).

      • Identification of Prostate Cancer LncRNAs by RNA-Seq

        Purpose: To identify prostate cancer lncRNAs using a pipeline proposed in this study, which is applicable for the identification of lncRNAs that are differentially expressed in prostate cancer tissues but have a negligible potential to encode proteins. Materials and Methods: We used two publicly available RNA-Seq datasets from normal prostate tissue and prostate cancer. Putative lncRNAs were predicted using the biological technology, then specific lncRNAs of prostate cancer were found by differential expression analysis and co-expression network was constructed by the weighted gene co-expression network analysis. Results: A total of 1,080 lncRNA transcripts were obtained in the RNA-Seq datasets. Three genes (PCA3, C20orf166-AS1 and RP11-267A15.1) showed a significant differential expression in the prostate cancer tissues, and were thus identified as prostate cancer specific lncRNAs. Brown and black modules had significant negative and positive correlations with prostate cancer, respectively. Conclusions: The pipeline proposed in this study is useful for the prediction of prostate cancer specific lncRNAs. Three genes (PCA3, C20orf166-AS1, and RP11-267A15.1) were identified to have a significant differential expression in prostate cancer tissues. However, there have been no published studies to demonstrate the specificity of RP11-267A15.1 in prostate cancer tissues. Thus, the results of this study can provide a new theoretic insight into the identification of prostate cancer specific genes.

        Association Between Subcutaneous Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator Preimplantation Screening and the Response to Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy

        Background and Objectives: Preimplantation QRS-T morphology screening (TMS) is a composite tool for selecting subcutaneous implantable cardioverter defibrillator (S-ICD) candidates. However, its role in predicting the patient's response to cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) is uncertain. Methods: A total of 55 consecutive de novo CRT candidates were enrolled between January 2016 and March 2017. Electrocardiogram (ECG) and TMS were performed before and soon after implantation. The ECG parameters were recorded, including QRS duration and morphology (such as ΔQRS_Index, QTc during biventricular pacing mode [BiV pacing QTc], and QRS/T ratio during biventricular pacing mode [BiV pacing QRS/T ratio]). TMS monitored three sensory vectors of the S-ICD. Six months after implantation, the responses to CRT were evaluated. Results: Thirty-nine patients (70.9%) passed the TMS during biventricular pacing mode. At the six-month follow-up, the number of responders and super-responders was significantly higher in the passing group than in the non-passing group (responders: 31/39 [79.5%] vs. 5/16 [31.3%], p<0.001; super-responders: 9/39 [23.1%] vs. 1/16 [6.3%], p=0.020). The super-response rate was higher among patients who passed all three vectors than among those who passed 1 or 2 vectors (3 vs. 2 vectors, p=0.018; 3 vs. 1 vector, p=0.003). A smaller left atrial diameter, vectors that passed TMS during biventricular pacing mode, and larger ΔQRS_Index values were independently associated with good CRT response. Conclusions: Our study demonstrated that patients on CRT who pass the TMS during biventricular pacing mode are more likely to respond and super-respond to CRT.

        Study on the Evaluation of Agricultural Supply Chain Finance Model: Focused on Jilin Province China

        수십 년의 개발 끝에 중국의 농업 공급망 금융(ASCF) 모델은 뚜렷한 특징을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 주로 농업 공급망 금융(ASCF)의 형성과 발전 메커니즘, 다양한 형태의 농업 공급망 금융(ASCF), 농업 공급망 금융(ASCF)의 평가 방법을 소개한다. 본 논문은 중국 지린성의 데이터를 사용하며 그레이 상관 분석(Gray Correlation Analysis) 및 엔트로피 법칙(entropy method)으로 표본을 평가한다. 이런 분석결과를 바탕으로 이 연구는 농업 공급망 금융(ASCF)이 농촌 경제 발전에 미치는 영향을 파악한다. 그레이 상관 분석법(Grey Correlation Analysis)을 이용하면 농촌경제개발구조의 지표가 0.7998로 농촌경제발전에 대한 상관관계가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 엔트로피 법칙(entropy method)을 활용해 금융발전 규모 지수가 0.78로 농촌경제발전에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 농업 공급망 금융(ASCF)이 농촌 경제 발전에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 농업 핵심 기업이 가장 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문은 농촌 금융의 발전을 위한 몇 가지 새로운 방법을 제공한다. 농업 공급망 금융(ASCF)이 농촌경제 개선에 상당한 영향을 미치고 있음을 시사하며, 농업 공급망 금융(ASCF) 발전의 초점, 즉 농업 핵심 기업이 중요한 역할을 하고 있음을 시사한다. After many decades of development, China"s agricultural supply chain finance model has distinct characteristics. This article mainly introduces the formation and development mechanism of an agricultural supply chain finance, different types of agricultural supply chain finance, and evaluation methods of agricultural supply chain finance. This paper uses the data from Jilin Province, China, and evaluates the samples using grey correlation analysis and entropy methods. This study examined the impact of agricultural supply chain finance on rural economic development. Using the grey correlation analysis method, the results showed that the index of the rural financial development structure had the highest correlation with rural economic development, which was 0.7998. On the other hand, the entropy method found that the index of the financial development scale had the largest impact on rural economic development, which was 0.78. This study concluded that agricultural supply chain finance has a positive effect on the development of the rural economy, and agricultural core enterprises play a critical role. The evidence from China can provide some new modes for the development of rural finance. Moreover, agricultural supply chain finance has a significant effect on improving the rural economy. Most importantly, this study highlights the critical role of agricultural core enterprises in the development of agricultural supply chain finance.

        Analysis of Operating Efficiency of China’s Agricultural Listed Companies

        In recent years, China's agricultural listed companies have developed rapidly. This paper studies the operating efficiency of listed agricultural companies in China. exploring the factors that affect the operating efficiency of listed agricultural companies, and proposes targeted countermeasures for the development of listed agricultural companies. And give some suggestions to Korean agricultural companies and A share investors. This paper uses the DEA model, selects the 40 best-developed Chinese agricultural listed companies in 2018 as a sample, analyzes the operating efficiency of these companies, and added two new input variables: asset impairment losses (AIL) and business tax and surcharge (BTS), which will also have an impact on operating efficiency. This paper can provide reliable suggestions for the development of agricultural listed companies, and thus guide the healthy operation of agricultural companies.

        Prevalence of Senecavirus A in pigs from 2014 to 2020: a global systematic review and meta-analysis

        Background: Senecavirus A (SVA), a member of the family Picornaviridae, is newly discovered, which causes vesicular lesions, lameness in swine, and even death in neonatal piglets. SVA has rapidly spread worldwide in recent years, especially in Asia. Objectives: We conducted a global meta-analysis and systematic review to determine the status of SVA infection in pigs. Methods: Through PubMed, VIP Chinese Journals Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and Wanfang Data search data from 2014 to July 26, 2020, a total of 34 articles were included in this analysis based on our inclusion criteria. We estimated the pooled prevalence of SVA in pigs by the random effects model. A risk of bias assessment of the studies and subgroup analysis to explain heterogeneity was undertaken. Results: We estimated the SVA prevalence to be 15.90% (1,564/9,839; 95% confidence interval [CI], 44.75–65.89) globally. The prevalence decreased to 11.06% (945/8,542; 95% CI, 28.25–50.64) after 2016. The highest SVA prevalence with the VP1-based RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry assay was 58.52% (594/1,015; 95% CI, 59.90–83.96) and 85.54% (71/83; 95% CI, 76.68–100.00), respectively. Besides, the SVA prevalence in piglet herds was the highest at 71.69% (119/166; 95% CI, 68.61–98.43) (p < 0.05). Moreover, our analysis confirmed that the subgroups, including country, sampling year, sampling position, detected gene, detection method, season, age, and climate, could be the heterogeneous factors associated with SVA prevalence. Conclusions: The results indicated that SVA widely exists in various countries currently. Therefore, more prevention and control policies should be proposed to enhance the management of pig farms and improve breeding conditions and the environment to reduce the spread of SVA.
