Study Design: Prospective study. Purpose: To evaluate the utility and limitations of using three-dimensional (3D)-printed models for the management of craniovertebral (CV) junction abnormalities. Overview of Literature: In comparison to other bony and vascular anomalies, CV junction abnormalities are difficult to treat. For cases of irreducible atlantoaxial dislocation (AAD), posterior reduction and stabilization have replaced anterior decompression as the standard management protocol. The use of 3D models, such as those described herein, can provide surgeons with in-depth knowledge of the vertebral artery course and bony anomalies associated with CV junction abnormalities. Methods: Clinical and radiological features of 18 patients with CV junction abnormalities were analyzed between March 2017 and February 2019 at Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur, India. Dynamic computed tomography (CT) of the CV junction and CT angiographies of the neck with respect to the vertebral artery course at the C1–C2 joints were obtained and studied. Customized 3D models of the CV junction were then made based on the CT data, and rehearsal of the surgical procedure was performed using the 3D model one day prior to performing the actual procedure. Results: Seventeen patients had congenital-type AAD, whereas one patient had posttraumatic AAD. Improvements in neck pain and myelopathy were seen in all patients at the follow-up, as analyzed using the Visual Analog Scale and the Japanese Orthopedic Association Scale score, respectively. There were no cases of malpositioning of screws or any direct vertebral artery injury, although in one patient, the distal flow in the dominant vertebral artery was cut off as it got compressed between the bony arch and the screw head. Conclusions: Compared to computer-generated images, 3D-printed models are a more practical approach for dealing with complex CV junction abnormalities. They provide surgeons with deep insights into the complex bony anomalies as well as variations in the vertebral artery courses, thereby improving surgical outcomes.

The ultimate motive of the paper is to establish whether financial inclusion (FI) has a consequential impact on the Sustainable Development (SD) of India. This study uses one model for the assessment of the influence of FI through the Co-Operative bank network on SD. This is purposely done to analyze the absolute impact of the role of the Co-Operative bank network in the said context. The sample encompasses data taken from 28 states and 3 Union Territories for two years (FY2018-FY2020). Assessment of data for the remaining Union Territories is not undertaken for the reason of the non-availability of data for other Union Territories. This study uses Panel Data Analysis (PDA) to establish the nexus of the relation between the said variables. Results of this study reveal elevated levels of SD resultant of increased FI thereby indicating a positive and significant relationship between the said variables. Unlike previous studies, this study gives India-specific significant findings, which suggests policy formulation for increasing the numbers and improving the governance of Co-Operative bank networks for SD. Co-Operative bank network as a proxy despite having high weighted significance in FI has not been incorporated in any recent study as per the last updated knowledge of authors.

Crucial exploitation of biosensors has attained dominant significance in the meadow of drug innovation,drug identification, bio-remedy, food protection principles, security, protection, and ecological examination. It has direct to the innovation of specific and authoritative diagnostic tools that employ biologicalsensing elements as biosensors. Glucometers employ oxygen or hydrogen peroxide electrochemicalrecognition utilizing immobilized glucose oxidase electrodes, showing biosensors’ invention. Currentadvances in biological methods and instrumentation relating to fluorescence tags to nano-materials haveincreased the responsive limit of biosensors. The use of aptamers or nucleotides, antibodies, peptidearrays, and molecule imprinted polymers offer tools to build up novel biosensors over the classicalmethod. Integrated methods offer an improved perception for a buildup of precise and responsive biosensorswith high regenerative potentials. Various biosensors ranging from nanomaterials polymers tomicrobes have more comprehensive potential applications. Combining multifaceted approaches to designbiosensors that comprise the prospective for different usage is reasonably significant. In light of this, thisreview provides an overview of different types of biosensors being used, ranging from electrochemicaland fluorescence tagged, nanomaterials, silica or quartz, and microbes for various biomedical and environmentalapplications with the future outlook of biosensor technology.

최근 무선랜 기반 실내 측위시스템을 활용하는 위치정보 서비스가 주목을 받고 있다. 기존 측위 방식에서는 주로 삼각측량 기법에 의존하여 사용자 단말의 위치를 측정하고 있으나, 실내 벽 등의 장애물로 인하여 정확한 측위가 어려울 뿐만 아니라 측위 오차가 크다는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 무선랜 기반 실내 측위시스템에서 방(room) 등의 블록(block) 단위로 사용자의 위치를 측정하는 방법을 제시한다. 실험 결과, 제안 방식은 기존 방식에 비해 측위 오차를 50% 이상 감소시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.
