        패션쇼 연출기획의 사례분석연구

        The purpose of this study is : first. to examine factors of fashion show planning and production and to classify types of fashion show planning and production: second, to compare and analyze the factors through a case analysis to defined their differences. For the purpose, data are collected to compare and analyze from literature as well as the interview with fashion show planning and production companies in Korea. The result shows that all the factors are considered on a practical level except security and publicity among 15 factors presented in literature : the purpose of the show, target spectators, product selection, product prices, type of show, size, location, models, time of show, duration, theme, security, budget, and publicity. Show types are divided into national brands, designer brands, imported brands, and collections. The result of the comparison and analysis of the factors of the planning and production by type shows that factors vary greatly depending on the purpose of the show, target spectators, and form of the show and products. By analyzing the case study on fashion show planning and production on a practical level, the study recognizing the need of specialized development of fashion show planning in Korea s fashion industry, is a basic process of theory systematization for the planning and production in its marketing aspects, and will provide relevant theories in such aspects for those who want to enter into the field.

      • 센서 노드의 프로그래밍 환경 비교

        Software development environment is one of important features to extend the application area and to make rapid progress in any computing application fields. We studied and compared the programming environments for wireless sensor networks, which becomes an essential technology towards the ubiquitous era. Two representative environments, TinyOS/nesC and Nano Qplus/C were investigated and the comparison was performed by implementing a typical application including sensing and multi - hop transmission. We experienced and observed that the TinyOS/nesC environment is difficult at initial stage due to the unfamiliar programming model, but the result codes are more compact and have abundant reference implementations. On the other side, Nano Qplus/C environment is easy to adaptable for general purpose programmers and provides more features such as multi-threading and dynamic memory allocation.

      • 1866∼7년 데이 드레스(day dress)의 설계 및 디자인 분석

        As the current stage of the fashion begins to follow the styles of the past, the study on the past costume is getting more important, and as the methodology of the study accurately approached study through the rehabilitation of the past costume is more needed than the simple rearrangement of the historical documents. By this methodology, this study can be positioned as a recreation activity. The results of the study are as follows. 1) Style : The general silhouetts is the late crinoline style which is the period from 1860s to just before bustle. The dress is one-piece composed of fitted bodice, and skirt which the front is flat, side and back is triangular shape to the skirts. 2) Color and Material : the main color is pale stone and the sub-color is ivory and blue. The dress is made of a silk surface and cotton back and partly satin and velvet. 3) Pattern and sewing : the dress is together sewing comnined with lining and fabric. The skirt is gored skirt, the number of patterns is plenty because of the plenty of width of skirt. The double piping has various effect not only to decorate but also to conceal the seam, support the silhouette. 4) Detail : The general detail is double piping which are repeatedly used to decorate stand collar, bands of sleeve, froint bodice and gored panel seam of skirt. And the fringe and velvet ribbon are used to decorate the dress. 5) Structural characteristics : The double piping, velvet ribbon and twilled cotton are used to emphasize structural characteristics of crinoline style. And the waistband which is backed with a webbing band to reinforce it is also the structural characteristics. Synthetically, the 1886~7 day dress has the characteristics of transitional stage in which the chararcteristics of the costume of 1860s and the remnants of the characteristics of the previous costume style, and shows the characteristics of day dress well in terms of the style, color and fabrics, pattern and sewing, detail, and structural characteristics.

      • 목초액의 엽면살포가 선학초(Agrimonia pilosa L.)의 종자수량에 미치는 영향

        Agrimonia pilosa L. has been used as a medicinal plant in traditional folk remedy, and it shows inereasing tendency at various sections such as medicine-making material, functional food, and agricultural chemicals using plant or extract. The treatment was 400times solution(50㎖), 600times solution(33.3㎖), 800times solution(25㎖), 1,000times solution(20㎖) and 1,200times solution(16.7㎖) level with foliar application of wood extraction in Agrimonia pilosa L. The results obtained through these experiments were summarized as follows; plant height, stem number, leaves was increased with 800times solution(25㎖) foliar application of wood extraction. Among foliar application of wood vinergar soution diluted by 800-1,200 times was most effective considering growth and yield as compared other dilutions and control plot.

        외과적 보조의 급속상악확장술 : 치험 5예 REPORT OF 5 CASES

        Five adults (3 cases of bilateral posterior crossbite, 2 cases of unilateral posterior crossbite) with intermaxillary discrepancy of over 5㎜ due to maxillary transverse deficiency were treated by surgically assisted rapid maxillary expansion (SARME). Bilateral maxillary horizontal osteotomies, osteotomies of pterygomaxillary junction and anterior lateral nasal wall, ans anterior palatal osteotomy were performed in 4 cases, and unilateral osteotomies in 1case, followed by palatal expansion with tooth-borne orthopedic applicance. No significant complication was observed. The mean palatal expansion was 7.2㎜ (5.8∼10.0㎜) in the maxillary first molar region. During the mean follow-up period of 4 years (5 months∼8 years 7 months), no recurrence of crossbite was observed in all cases. The SARME seemed to be a simple, stable, and reliable procedure for achieving a permanent increase of over 5㎜ in skeletal maxillary transverse width of adults.

        <P>Lupus mesenteric vasculitis (LMV) is a unique clinical entity found in patients who present with gastrointestinal manifestations of systemic lupus erythematosus, and is the main cause of acute abdominal pain in these patients. LMV usually presents as acute abdominal pain with sudden onset, severe intensity and diffuse localization. Other causes of abdominal pain, such as acute gastroenteritis, peptic ulcers, acute pancreatitis, peritonitis, and other reasons for abdominal surgery should be ruled out. Prompt and accurate diagnosis of LMV is critical to ensure implementation of appropriate immunosuppressive therapy and avoidance of unnecessary surgical intervention. The pathology of LMV comprises immune-complex deposition and complement activation, with subsequent submucosal edema, leukocytoclastic vasculitis and thrombus formation; most of these changes are confined to small mesenteric vessels. Abdominal CT is the most useful tool for diagnosing LMV, which is characterized by the presence of target signs, comb signs, and other associated findings. The presence of autoantibodies against phospholipids and endothelial cells might provide information about the likelihood of recurrence of LMV. Immediate, high-dose, intravenous steroid therapy can lead to a favorable outcome and prevent serious complications such as bowel ischemia, necrosis and perforation.</P>

        Gene Expression Profile in Microglia following Ischemia- Reperfusion Injury

        Microglial activation is thought to play a role in the pathogenesis of many brain disorders. Therefore, understanding the response of microglia to noxious stimuli may provide insights into their role in disorders such as stroke and neurodegeneration. Many genes involved in this response have been identified individually, but not systematically. In this regards, the microarray system permitted to screen a large number of genes in biological or pathological processes. Therefore, we used microarray technology to evaluate the effect of oxygen glucose deprivation (OGD) and reperfusion on gene expression in microglia under ischemia-like and activating conditions. Primary microglial cultures were prepared from postnatal mice brain. The cells were exposed to 4 hrs of OGD and 1 h of reperfusion at 37<SUP>o</SUP>C. Isolated mRNA were run on GeneChips. After OGD and reperfusion, >2-fold increases of 90 genes and >2-fold decrease of 41 genes were found. Among the genes differentially increased by OGD and reperfusion in microglia were inflammatory and immune related genes such as prostaglandin E synthase, IL-1β, and TNF-α. Microarray analysis of gene expression may be useful for elucidating novel molecular mediators of microglial reaction to reperfusion injury and provide insights into the molecular basis of brain disorders.

      • Personal exposure to indoor aerosols as actual concern: Perceived indoor and outdoor air quality, and health performances

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Indoor environmental quality (IEQ) is known to affect personal health performances. A respiratory illness symptom can be an indicator of health performance that is related to the personal exposure concern and the IEQ. However, little is known about the effect of personal exposure to either indoor or outdoor sources on the human perception of the IEQ. Here, we conducted a study to evaluate the association of human perception and health performance to exposure assessments by analyzing questionnaire survey obtained from 396 students and 64 parents. To test exposure conditions at different scenarios, schools and homes located in rural and urban areas were selected. We assessed the IEQ by measuring temperature, relative humidity, particulate matters, and CO<SUB>2</SUB> level. Also, the effect of potential pollutant factors on the IEQ was evaluated at three different cases: vacuum cleaning, cooking, and air purifier operation. From the IEQ measurement, there was no difference in PM<SUB>10</SUB> and airborne bacteria concentrations between urban and rural areas of both schools and homes. But, PM<SUB>2.5</SUB> showed significant difference between the areas. CO<SUB>2</SUB> levels in schools were correlated to the number of students. This study shows that health performance was strongly associated with people's perception of outdoor environmental quality. We found that perception can be considered a predictor of health performance as a health-related environmental marker. This study suggests the importance of reviewing public regulations regarding control of potential indoor pollutant sources, use of air purifiers and aspects indicative of satisfaction with indoor environmental exposure.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Indoor environmental quality (IEQ) is known to affect personal health performances. </LI> <LI> The observed indoor sources of respirable particles in IEQ was unprecedently high. </LI> <LI> Exposure assessments were associated with human perception and health performance. </LI> <LI> Health performance was strongly associated with people's perception based on survey. </LI> </UL> </P>

      • Poster Session:PS 1201 ; Cardiology : Differential Diagnosis of Left Atrial Mass after Surgical Excision of Myxoma

        A 72-year-old woman presented with transient right arm weakness, and a left atrial (LA) mass was diagnosed on echocardiography as a source of embolism. She underwent a successful surgical excision for the LA mass which was confi rmed to be myxoma on histopathologic specimen. One month after discharge, she subsequently developed left arm weakness, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) presented a 13 × 7 mm sized mass with irregular lobulated surface on surgical beds. Based on detailed review of the surgical procedure which achieved en-bloc resection including full thickness of interatrial septum with broad base, a probable diagnosis was made to be a thrombus rather than a remnant of the tumor. We started administration of intravenous heparin as a therapeutic trial, and the repeated TEE in a week presented much decreased size of the mass in question (8 × 3 mm). Anticoagulation with warfarin was then continued, and a follow-up TEE at 4-months showed complete resolution of the mass in question, confi rming the diagnosis of a thrombus. Embolic events after surgery of cardiac myxoma have been rarely reported. However, in theory, all endocardial damage, myocardial exposure, suture material, and geometric change after cardiac surgery can provoke thrombogenic milieu. Although a thrombus on surgical beds is uncommon, a possibility should not be neglected because it can potentially cause critical neurologic complications postoperatively. The present case highlights 1) the importance of clinical suspicion for intracardiac thrombi after cardiac surgery; 2) the advantage of serial follow-up of TEE which could discriminate postoperative thrombi from remnants of cardiac tumor, therefore we could avoid unnecessary second-look operation.
