        Addition of V2O5-MnO2/USY-zeolite catalyst in PTFE fiber for bag filter and its catalytic activity tests for NH3-SCR at low-temperature

        This study investigated the catalytic activity of vanadium-manganese supported on USY-zeolite as a catalystfor low-temperature NO removal, and embedded the powder catalyst in PTFE filter of bag filter. TheV2O5-MnO2/USY-zeolite catalyst was prepared using the co-impregnation method, and the V2O5/MnO2ratio was 0/10, 2.5/7.5, 5/5, 7.5/2.5, or 10/0. The catalytic activity test for NH3-SCR(selective catalyticreduction) of NO was performed at 150–230 C. An enhanced NO conversion above 60% was exhibitedin the low-temperature region below 230 C, and the NO removal efficiency increased as the MnO2 contentincreased. The NH3-TPD and NO-TPD(Temperature Programmed Desorption) analysis confirmed thatthe NH3 adsorption of the catalyst more significantly influences the NO removal performance than the NOadsorption. As the MnO2 content on the catalysts increased, the strength and amount of adsorbed NH3increased, resulting in enhanced NO conversion. The catalyst-embedded PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene)fiber was prepared by extruding physically mixed PTFE and catalyst powder. Scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy confirmed that the catalyst was well dispersed on the surfaceand inside the PTFE fiber. The NO removal performance of the catalyst included PTFE fiber increased asthe amount of the catalysts added was increased.

        중생 고품질 내병 다수성 벼 ‘영보(嶺寶)’

        ‘Yeongbo’ is a variety of japonica rice (Oryza sativa L.) with good eating quality, resistance to rice stripe virus, rice dwarf virus, and bacterial blight disease. It was developed by the rice breeding team of the Yeongdeok Branch, National Institute Crop Science, Rural Development Administration in 2014. This variety was derived from a cross between ‘Yeongdeog35’ with good eating quality and ‘Saekyehwa’ with good plant type in the 2002 summer season. A promising line selected through the pedigree breeding method, YR24269-1-2-1-2-3-3, was designated as ‘Yeongdeog57’ in 2011. After a local adaptability test at nine locations from 2012 to 2014, ‘Yeongdeog57’ was released under the name of ‘Yeongbo’ in 2014. ‘Yeongbo’ had a short culm length of 66 cm and medium growth duration. This variety was resistant to K1, K2, and K3 races of bacterial blight, rice stripe virus, and dwarf virus, and moderately resistant to leaf blast disease. ‘Yeongbo’ had translucent and clear milled rice kernel without white core and belly, and good eating quality according to a panel test. The yield potential of ‘Yeongbo’ in milled rice was approximately 5.75 MT/ha at an ordinary fertilizer level in the local adaptability test. This cultivar would be adaptable to middle plain area, south plain area, Yeongnam plain area, east costal area, and south mid-mountainous area. (Registration No.6804)

      • 귀신들림에 대한 상담학적 접근

        외면상 귀신들림의 현상으로 보인다고 해서 그 정체를 분석하지 않고 쉽게 권위주의적인 방법으로 치유하고자 한다면, 오히려 부작용이 생길 가능성이 많을 것이다. 그러므로 먼저 상대방을 이해하고 공감하면서 귀신들림 현상의 깊은 곳에 어떠한 경험이 깔려있는지를 알아보는 것이 중요함을 논하였다. 사람은 전인적인 존재이므로 이것이 생리적인 문제인지, 심리적인 문제인지, 영적으로 깊은 문제가 있는 것인지를 파악해야만 올바른 처방을 할 수 있기 때문이다. 귀신들림 현상을 경험하는 사람에 대한 다양한 해석과 또 이에 따른 다양한 접근은 일반상담과 달리 목회상담만이 할 수 있는 것으로, 이러한 목회 상담은 질병의 회복을 넘어서서 하나님께 전적으로 의지할 수 있는 신앙을 촉진시키며 병자의 전인적인 성장을 도모하게 만들어 준다. 오늘날 우리가 종종 부딪치는 이러한 귀신들림 현상의 문제들을 정확히 이해하고 적절한 치유적 접근을 할 수 있게 된다면 전인적 건강을 추구하는 목회를 하는데 크게 도움이 되리라 생각하고, 이를 위해서는 목회자가 효과적 상담을 위한 심리학적 통찰력뿐만 아니라 영적 싸움에서 이길 수 있도록 영적으로 더욱 성숙한 삶을 살아가도록 늘 노력해야 할 것이다.

        목회적 돌봄(pastoral care: 라틴어로는 Cure of souls를 뜻하는 Cura Animarum)은 예수님의 목자로서의 사역이후(요 10:1-10)교회의 사명에 있어서 중심적인 것이 되어왔다. 즉 예수를 사랑하는 모든 사람들은 믿음 안에서 서로를 바로 세우기 위하여 서로 사랑하고, 그리스도가 목숨까지 내어주도록 사랑한 이 세상 사람들을 돌보아야만 했다(요 15:12-17).

      • Zinc Titanate에서 H₂S 흡수특성 조사

        요약문사출성형법으로 평가를 위해 ZnO 함량을 변화시키면서 4종류의 Zinc Titanate 흡수제를 제조하였다. Zn/Ti 몰비가 증가할수록 지배적인 결정상은 Zn 2Ti3O8과 Zn2TiO4로 관찰되었다. Zinc Titanate 탈황제에 의한 H2S 흡수반응을 모사석탄가스의 고온탈황에 의해서 실험적으로 연구하였다. 내경 3cm인 석영관의 고정상 반응기로 4종류의 Zin cTitanate 흡수제에 대하여 H2S 흡수와 재생의 10-cycle 실험을 수행하였다. 파과곡선, SEM, BET 등의 실험적인 관찰을 근거로 하여 650℃가 최적 흡수반응온도임을 결정하였다. 탈황과 재생의 반복적인 실험동안 H2S와 S02의 파과곡선들을 구하였다. 또한, 시험 전후의 흡수제의 물성변화를 SEM, EDX, Hg-porosimetry 및 BET 방법으로 분석하였다. 비록 더많은 연구가 필요하지만, 제한된 실험적 조건에서 판단하면 YZT-3(Zn/Ti=1.5)가 가장 우수한 탈황제라고 결론내릴 수 있다.AbstractFour zinc titanate sorbents were prepared for evaluation by extrusion method with varying ZnO contents. The predominant crystalline phases were Zn2Ti3O3 and Zn2TiO4 as Zn/Ti molar ratio was increased. Absorption of HzS by the zinc titanate sorbents was studied experimentally in high temperature desulfurization of simulated coal gas. Fixed-bed system of 3 cm i. d. quartz tube was used to carry out 10-cycle experiments of H2S absorption and regeneration for the zinc titanate sorbents. In these experiments the optimal absorption temperature was determined as 650 ℃ based on experimental observation of breakthrough curves, SEM and BET results, and so on. H2S and SO; breakthrough curves were obtained for each sorbent during repetitive cycles of desulfurization and regeneration. Also, property changes of the sorbent before and after testing were analyzed using SEM, EDX, XRD, Hg-porosimeter and BET method. It is concluded under this limited experimental conditions YZT-3 (Zn/Ti =1.5) was the most suitable desulfurization sorbent even though further tests are required.

        Analysis of Don Browning`s Method for Pastoral Care to Establish Ethical Norms on the Issue of Homosexuality

        One of the major dilemmas in contemporary pastoral care is the separation of pastoral care from ethics. Without love, acceptance, and forgiveness, there is no healing, no restoration of a broken life or a broken relationship. In the same way, however, without a strong moral witness whom is willing to affirm goodness and condemn evil, people cannot but feel confusion in their lives. This in turn can lead to the onset of mental illness. Therefore, it is very important to establish ethical norms, which are crucial to care for and counsel people in all kinds of practical situations. Today, people are struggling to ascertain appropriate behavior within the contemporary pluralistic environment. Homosexuality is one of the many issues in which norms are changing and by which many persons feel confused. In this article, I suggest some reasons why we need ethics in pastoral care and analyze through the work of Don Browning, who has shown deep concern on this subject, the estrangement of ethics from pastoral care. After treating the issue of ethics in pastoral care, I investigate how Browning applies his method to the establishment of ethical norms in relation to the issue of homosexuality. I then evaluate his contribution and limitations in order to suggest a better way to approach the issue of establishing ethical norms on homosexuality.
