Development of a Project Selection Method on Information System Using ANP and Fuzzy Logic

Project selection problems on management information system (MIS) are often considered a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) for a solving method. These problems contain two aspects, such as interdependencies among criteria and candidate projects and qualitative and quantitative factors of projects. However, most existing methods reported in literature consider these aspects separately even though these two aspects are simultaneously incorporated. For this reason, we proposed a hybrid method using analytic network process (ANP) and fuzzy logic in order to represent both aspects. We then propose a goal programming model to conduct an optimization for the project selection problems interpreted by a hybrid concept. Finally, a numerical example is conducted as verification purposes.
A Measurement System for Rounded Shoulder Posture using a Wearable Stretch Sensor

In this paper, we present a wearable measurement system for monitoring rounded shoulders. The system contains a shoulder correction band and a stretch sensor that can correct and measure shoulder posture, respectively. The capacitance of the stretch sensor changes linearly according to changes in the shoulders. To verify measurement, a motion analysis system was used as the reference to compare the change in the rounded angles of the shoulders and the change in the stretch sensor's capacitance. The results indicated that there is a high correlation between the two changes and the system can be used as a monitoring device for rounded shoulders.

The research aims to investigate the impact levels of determinants on the loyalty of accountants to FDI firms underlying investment management in Thanglong Industrial Park in Hanoi, Vietnam. We conducted a questionnaire consisting of 31 observation variables with a 5-point Likert scale. Independent variables were measured from 1 "without effect" to 5 "strongly". The method of data collection was done through the survey and subjects are accountants in FDI firms doing business in Thanglong Industrial Park in Hanoi. After checking the information on the votes, there are 120 questionnaires with full information for data entry and analysis, This study employs Cronbach's Alpha test, and regression model. The results show that seven determinants including Working environment, The characteristics of working; Training, promotion prospects and development; Income, Personal characteristic, Collective work together and The method of leading had positive relationships with the loyalty of accountants. Based on the findings, some recommendations are given related to such determinants to improve the loyalty of accountants of FDI firms in general and FDI firms in Thanglong Industrial Park in Hanoi in particular. With which, those firms can enhance performance, reduce financial strain, saving on investment in the recruiting process of new staff, increase profitability to ensure investment management.

The O/W emulsions were prepared using perilla seed oil (PSO) dispersed in soy sauce (PSE) and in distilled water (PWE), respectively. Octenyl succinic anhydride-modified starch (OSA starch, 3 wt%) showed the most efficient emulsifying ability and its stabilities of emulsion and oxidation in PSE and PWE were studied at different storage periods (0, 4, and 8 weeks) and temperatures (4, 25, and 40 °C). Negligible change in droplet diameter of PSE was observed without coalescence or flocculation during storing for 8 weeks at 4 °C. The stabilizing ability of OSA-starch despite the high ionic strength of soy sauce is attributed to the starch backbone, which promotes steric repulsions between droplets. A lower oxidation degree was observed for PSE prepared than PWE and PSO under all storage conditions. Thus, the O/W emulsion prepared from PSO and soy sauce can be applied to the production of ω-3 fatty acid-enriched Asian-style emulsified products.

In this study, the content of Cholesterol in selected vegetables obtained in Korea including ligularia fischeri, garlic scapes, and beefsteak plant leaf was determined. A calibration curve of standard was used to quantify the content of Cholesterol, and the precision of the quantification was measured with reference materials (infant/adult nutrition formula). Interestingly, all selected vegetables contain Cholesterol. The results showed that the content of Cholesterol in fresh-cut ligularia fischeri (0.357 mg/100g) was the highest, followed by which from fresh-cut beefsteak plant leaf (0.335 mg/100g). Additionally, the fresh-cut garlic scapes contained the lowest Cholesterol content.
Analysis of Bilateral Input-Output Trading between Vietnam and China

This study attempts to analyze trade flows between Vietnam and China in order to understand the mutual influence of bilateral trade relations. China is a country with the world's leading economic potential. China and Vietnam are neighboring countries sharing a border of 1,281 km. Trade relations between the two countries are a necessity and, with a right policy, are beneficial to both. Vietnam has a trade deficit with China. This situation is exacerbated by the continuing rise in the gap. Vietnam trade deficit from China was USD12.5 billion in 2010, increasing to USD24 billion in 2018. Data are extracted from the 2015 national input-output tables of Vietnam and China as well as Vietnam Household Living Standard Survey statistics. The research identified 36 sectors of bilateral input-output trade between Vietnam and China. A bilateral output-input model is applied to analyze how final demand and use of input in the production of this country induces output and value added of the other country. The results show that China benefits more from Vietnam's production and consumption than Vietnam does. Vietnam's inter-sector structure does not stimulate domestic production due to the absence of supporting products as inputs in the production process.
Flexible deployment of component-based distributed applications on the Cloud and beyond

In an effort to minimize operational expenses and supply users with more scalable services, distributed applications are actually going towards the Cloud. These applications, sent out over multiple environments and machines, are composed by inter-connecting independently developed services and components. The implementation of such programs on the Cloud is difficult and generally carried out either by hand or perhaps by composing personalized scripts. This is extremely error prone plus it has been found that misconfiguration may be the root of huge mistakes. We introduce AutoBot, a flexible platform for modeling, installing and (re)configuring complex distributed cloud-based applications which evolve dynamically in time. AutoBot includes three modules: A simple and new model describing the configuration properties and interdependencies of components; a dynamic protocol for the deployment and configuration ensuring appropriate resolution of these interdependencies; a runtime system that guarantee the proper configuration of the program on many virtual machines and, if necessary, the reconfiguration of the deployed system. This reduces the manual application deployment process that is monotonous and prone to errors. Some validation experiments were conducted on AutoBot in order to ensure that the proposed system works as expected. We also discuss the opportunity of reusing the platform in the transition of applications from Cloud to Fog computing.

Jejunal Dieulafoy lesion (DL) is an exceedingly rare, life-threatening cause of gastrointestinal bleeding. Due to its rarity, intermittent bleeding symptoms that often necessitate prompt clinical intervention, variability in detection and treatment methods, and the risk of rebleeding, this condition frequently presents a diagnostic and therapeutic conundrum. We report a case of severe, intermittent, recurrent hematochezia due to a jejunal DL that was difficult to localize. In this case, the metallic coils used as a radiopaque marker allowed surgeons to accurately identify the bleeding site during intraoperative enteroscopy and successfully manage the lesion with minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery.
