Utility of Urinalysis as a Follow-up Surveillance Tool in Nonmuscle Invasive Bladder Cancer

Purpose: To evaluate the association between microscopic hematuria (MH) detected by surveillance urinalysis and cancer recurrence in nonmuscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) patients. Materials and Methods: A total of 1,082 NMIBC patients who underwent transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURB) procedures at Asan Medical Center between January 2017 and December 2019 were included. We retrospectively reviewed the follow-up data for these cases including cystoscopy, urinalysis, and urine cytology. The association between urine testing and cancer recurrence was assessed by both univariable and multivariable logistic regression analysis. Results: The study patients had a median age of 68 years (interquartile range, 60–75 years) and comprised 898 men and 184 women. Among the 1,428 TURB procedures conducted in this series, 548 of the lesions (38.4%) were diagnosed as low-grade and 880 (61.6%) as high-grade cancers. A total of 3,309 follow-up cystoscopies were conducted during the study period and were divided into high-grade (HG) (2,011 cases) and low-grade (LG) (1,298 cases) groups according to the latest TURB pathology. MH was found to have a statistically significant association with NMIBC recurrence in both the LG (odds ratio [OR], 1.57; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.107–2.223; p=0.011) and HG (OR, 1.90; 95% CI, 1.434–2.517; p<0.001) groups. Conclusions: Urinalysis during follow-up may provide important information on cancer recurrence in NMIBC patients.

This paper focuses on developing a few-shot facial landmark detector that can operate on the general domain of face. Conventional methods typically used the huge amount of labeled data to perform human facial landmark detection or transferred the knowledge on the human domain to other domains. However, faces share similar geometric structure across various domains ranging from human, animals, cartoons, or even emojis. We propose domain-agnostic few-shot facial landmark detector (DAFF) that possesses both generalizability and dataefficiency. On top of model-agnostic meta-learning (MAML) framework, DAFF is composed of two components: (1) batch-adaptive spatial transformer network with triangle matching loss and (2) facial landmark regressor. Batch-adaptive spatial transformer network first transforms the input image to have a common structure for each facial domain, and facial landmark regressor localizes the position of both eyes and nose. For evaluation, we repurpose LHI-Animal-Faces dataset by adding facial landmark labels on each image. Experimental results show that DAFF outperforms previous methods significantly.

2022년 세계 방산시장 연감에 따르면 한국은 세계 25대 무기 수출국 중 8위를 차지하며 방위산업 강국으로 발돋움하고 있다. 우리나라의 무기체계 수출이 증가함에 따라 수출 무기체계 기술 보호 대책의 중요성이 부각 되고 있다. 안티탬퍼라는 용어는 미 국방부에서 처음 사용한 용어로 시스템에 적용된 최첨단 기술을 도난이나 인가되지 않은 용도로 분석되어 변조되는 것을 방지하기 위한 기술로 정의하고 있다. 즉, 안티탬퍼링이란 역공학 및 탬퍼링 공격 시도로부터 자산을 보호하고 기술유출을 방지하기 위한 행위를 의미한다. 본 논문에서는 무기체계 적용 핵심기술을 보호하는 안티탬퍼링 관련 국내 · 외 제도 · 정책 및 연구개발 동향의 조사 · 분석을 수행하고 해당 분야의 발전 방향을 제시한다. According to the 2022 Global Defense Market Yearbook, South Korea ranks eighth among the worlds 25 largest arms exporters, and South Korea is emerging as a strong country in the defense industry. As exports of weapons systems increase, the importance of technology protection measures is emerging. The term anti-tamper was first used by the US Department of Defense. Anti-tamper is defined as a technology to prevent cutting-edge technology applied to a system from being stolen or analyzed and tampered with for unauthorized use. In other words, anti-tampering refers to actions to protect assets from reverse engineering and tampering attacks and to prevent technology leakage. We conducted research and analysis of anti-tampering-related systems, policies, and research and development trends to protect core technologies applied to weapon systems. We also present a direction for development in the field of anti-tampering.

The power system state estimation and prediction are very important for operation. Because that accidents of the Power system are the cause that many devices and etc are damaged. Currently, almost every power systems have 2nd,3rd back-upsystem for prevention of accident. But prevention of accident by miss-operation, due to operator or miss data, has not acounter plan. Because, we need to estimate the power system for correcting miss data and preventing miss operation by operator. We suggest algorithm for integrity of power system network data.
