      • Calculation of the local electric field for an infinite array of conducting nanosized objects

        <P>The electric field for an infinite array of conducting nanosized objects in two-dimensional space has been calculated. The mirror symmetry for this physical problem has been introduced. By taking into account this symmetry, we transform the original problem into an infinite two-dimensional array of nanosized objects with the same solution. The electric field equation of the model has been successfully constructed using a single-layer potential of the periodic Green function. The electric field operator has been introduced. This mathematical approach yields a solution for determining the optimum structure of nanosized electronic devices such as carbon nanotube-based field emitters.</P>

      • Reconstruction of the shape of an inclusion from Generalized Polarization Tensors and Elastic Moment Tensors

        The concept of the Generalized Polarization Tensors(GPTs) and the Elastic Moment Tensors(EMTs) have been studied particularly in the context of imaging small inclusions. The GPTs and EMTs contain significant information on the shape of the domain and its material parameter. It is known that given an arbitrary shape, one can find an equivalent ellipse or ellipsoid with the same first order GPT or EMT. In this paper we consider the problem of recovering finer details of the shape of a given domain using higher-order GPTs and EMTs. We design an optimization approach which solves the problem by simply minimizing a weighted discrepancy functional. In order to compute the shape derivative of this functional, we rigorously derive an asymptotic expansion of the perturbations of the GPTs and EMTs that are due to a small deformation of the boundary of the domain. We perform some numerical experiments to demonstrate the validity and the limitations of the proposed method. The results clearly show that our approach is very promising in recovering fine shape details.

      • Effect of Cucumber Mosaic Virus (CMV) Infection on Growth and Fruit quality of Passion Fruit (Passiflora edulis Sim.)

        Effects of viral infection by Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) were investigated in ‘Rubistar’ and ‘Newblack’ purple passionfruit cultivars. In 2019 and 2020, the viral infection of the passionfruit trees was identified by using polymerase chain reaction. Fruit characteristics were examined in 2019 and 2020, and tree growth characteristics in 2020. In the fruit qualities in 2019, ‘Rubistar’ had the higher values of fruit weight, length, width, flesh weight and fruit skin thickness between virus-free and CMV-infected samples; total solid content and titratable acidity were not different. However, in 2020, all fruit qualities were not significantly different between virus-free and CMV-infected samples. In ‘Newblack’, virus-free samples had the higher values of fruit weight, length, width, flesh weight and fruit skin thickness than CMV-infected samples on 2019 and 2020. On tree growth characteristics, virus-free samples of ‘Rubistar’ had bigger leaf area, and those of ‘Newblack’ had the higher number of leaf and the joint of a bearing branch than CMV-infected samples. The other tree growth characteristics were not significantly different in two groups in two cultivars. These results indicated that ‘Rubistar’ would be recovered from CMV-infection within one year, but ‘Newblack’ would not. This study would provide the information about the physiological effects of viral disease on purple passionfruit.

        졸업학년 간호학생의 학습성과 달성과 연계된 실습교육방법에 따른 효과 비교

        본 연구는 간호학과 4학년을 대상으로 학습성과 달성을 위한 핵심기본간호술과 시뮬레이션 실습교육의 효과를 비교하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 참여자는 K시 소재 간호학과 4학년에 재학 중인 학생으로 핵심기본간호술 실습군 93명, 시뮬레이션 실습군 85명이었다. 핵심기본간호술과 시뮬레이션 실습교육은 주 2시간, 총 16주 수업으로 진행하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 동질성검증은 빈도분석과 chi-square test를, 주요변수의 차이는 Shapiro-Wilk test로 정규성 검정 후, t-test를 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 비판적 사고성향은 핵심기본간호술과 시뮬레이션 실습 교육군에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었고(t=-2.06, p=.041), 셀프리더십과 임상수행능력은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 비판적 자기성향이 높을수록 셀프리더십(r=.38, p<.001)과 임상수행능력(r=.25, p=.001)은 증가하고 셀프리더십이 높을수록 임상수행능력(r=.62, p<.001)이 증가되는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 간호학실습교육에서 학생들의 비판적 사고성향과 셀프리더십을 높일 수 있는 교육프로그램의 개발 및 활용을 제언한다. The purpose of this study was for evaluating the effectiveness of practical education for program outcomes throughout comparing of how core basic nursing skills and simulation-based practice among the 4th nursing students. The participants were divided in two groups who were studying in the college where was located in K city as the 4th year students. The core basic nursing skills practice group were 93 students and the simulation-based practice were 85 students. The class lessons were done two hours a week, total 16 weeks in the both groups and for the group of the core basic nursing skills practice. Data were analyzed using the SPSS 23.0 program. The homogeneity test was used for frequency analysis and the chi-square test, and the difference between the main variables was analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk test and t-test. The study result that level of critical thinking was statistically significant difference among the two groups(t=-2.06, p=.041). However, it shows that a person who has high critical thinking increases self-leadership(r=.38, p<.001) and clinical competence(r=.25, p=.001) and a person who is high self-leadership increases its clinical competence(r=.62, p<.001). Based on this study, we suggest that to develop and be used the practical educations in nursing science for increasing students critical thinking.

        Minimum-time trajectory planning is considered in this paper under the assumption of bounded actuator forces, fixed via points and cubic spline curves passing the points. The trajectory planning is formulated as a constrained optimization problem and a nonlinear programming technique is applied to derive a solution, in which the objective function is the total traveling time and the constraint is the actuator torque bounds. Application example for a SCARA-type robot is given.

      • 클라우드 환경에서 음악청취 경험에 대한 연구 : 스트리밍 방식과 다운로드 방식의 음악행동 비교를 중심으로

        In the digital era, the paradigm of user's contents consumption has been transformed from 'ownership' to 'renting'. In "cloud computing" environment, provider gives its clients authority, as if they are borrowing virtual infrastructure from the provider, and clients can freely use it whenever they need IT resources, such as hardware or software, as if they were uploading and downloading recourses from their own computing environments. This study examines the behavior patterns of music content users based on the transformation of consumption paradigm. For the purpose of this study, the users of music contents are classified into two groups based on their behavior patterns towards music contents: users in the "ownership" group are likely to download music, and users in the "renting" group usually listen to the music by streaming them. By examining the behavior patterns of music content users, this research could help prediction of typical contents consumption behavior in cloud computing environments. 디지털 시대 사용자들의 콘텐츠 소비행태의 패러다임은 '소유'에서 '임대'으로 변모하고 있다. 무선통신 인프라의 보급과 다양한 스마트 디바이스의 등장과 더불어, 최근 미래 인터넷 기술로서 기대가 커지고 있는 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경의 확산은 사용자들이 IT 자원을 클라우드 서버에 올려놓고 그때그때 이용하도록 함으로써 일시적 사용의 소비행태를 부추긴다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 소비 패러다임의 변화에 기반하여 클라우드 음악 서비스를 사용하는 사용자들의 음악행동에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 음악구매, 청취, 공유라는 3 단계의 음악행동 분류에 기초하여 음원을 다운로드하여 이용하는 사람들을 '소유형' 음악감상 그룹으로, 음원을 스트리밍하여 이용하는 사람들을 '임대형' 음악감상 그룹으로 규정하고, 설문과 인터뷰 방법을 통해 클라우드 기반의 음악 스트리밍 서비스를 사용하는 사용자들의 음악 행태의 변화를 도출해본다. 본 연구결과는 클라우드 환경에서 음악콘텐츠의 이용행태에 대해 살펴봄으로써 클라우드 환경에서의 콘텐츠 소비행태 예측에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

        Flood analysis for agriculture area using SWMM model: case study on Sindae drainage basin

        Globally, abnormal climate phenomena have led to an increase in rainfall intensity, consequently causing a rise in flooding-related damages. Agricultural areas, in particular, experience significant annual losses every year due to a lack of research on flooding in these regions. This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the flood event that occurred on July 16, 2017, in the agricultural area situated in Sindaedong, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongjusi. To achieve this, the EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency) Storm Water Management Model (SWMM) was employed to generate runoff data by rainfall information. The produced runoff data facilitated the identification of flood occurrence points, and the analysis results exhibited a strong correlation with inundation trace maps provided by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS). The detailed output of the SWMM model enabled the extraction of time-specific runoff information at each inundation point, allowing for a detailed understanding of the inundation status in the agricultural area over different time frames. This research underscores the significance of utilizing the SWMM model to simulate inundation in agricultural areas, thereby validating the efficacy of flood alerts and risk management plans. In particular, the integration of rainfall data and the SWMM model in flood prediction methodologies is expected to enhance the formulation of preventative measures and response strategies against flood damages in agricultural areas.
