On the basis of our earlier studies, a series of N-{4-[4-(aryl) piperazin-1-yl]-phenyl}-amine derivatives containing terminal carbamoyl fragment with alkyl spacer of different lengths (15-20) were synthesized as ligands, for 5-hydroxytryptamine-1A (5-HT1A) receptor. Molecular modeling studies were undertaken to explain the influence of spacer length on ligands affinity towards 5-HT1A receptor. Compound 19 showed all the specific interactions responsible for recognition. The protonated amine of the ligand forms an ionic hydrogen bond with the negatively charged Asp116 of transmembrane3 helix (TM3), while the carbamoyl moiety interacts with Asn386 and Tyr390 of TM7. The aryl group is involved in forming a CH-π interaction with Phe362. The strong interaction of compound 19 with 5-HT1A receptor in docking studies was confirmed by radio ligand binding studies. Compound 19 showed high affinity for the receptor (Ki = 0.018 nM). In vivo pharmacological testing of compound 19 (3 mg/kg body weight) showed increased open arm entries, as well as time spent in Elevated plus Maze test. Toxicological analysis also revealed no significant biochemical or morphological alterations in the vital organs of experimental animals. Furthermore our results suggest that these compounds share some pharmacological effects with established anxiolytics and might prove to be effective compounds for the treatment of anxiety.
Novel Pass-transistor Logic based Ultralow Power Variation Resilient CMOS Full Adder
Manisha Guduri,Aminul Islam 대한전자공학회 2017 Journal of semiconductor technology and science Vol.17 No.2
This paper proposes a new full adder design based on pass-transistor logic that offers ultralow power dissipation and superior variability together with low transistor count. The pass-transistor logic allows device count reduction through direct logic realization, and thus leads to reduction in the node capacitances as well as short-circuit currents due to the absence of supply rails. Optimum transistor sizing alleviates the adverse effects of process variations on performance metrics. The design is subjected to a comparative analysis against existing designs based on Monte Carlo simulations in a SPICE environment, using the 22-nm CMOS Predictive Technology Model (PTM). The proposed ULP adder offers 38% improvement in power in comparison to the best performing conventional designs. The trade-off in delay to achieve this power saving is estimated through the power-delay product (PDP), which is found to be competitive to conventional values. It also offers upto 79% improvement in variability in comparison to conventional designs, and provides suitable scalability in supply voltage to meet future demands of energy-efficiency in portable applications.
FRACTIONAL FIELD WITH STANDARD FRACTIONAL VECTOR CROSS PRODUCT
MANISHA M. KANKAREJ,JAI PRATAP SINGH The Korean Society for Computational and Applied M 2023 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.41 No.4
In this research we have used the definition of standard fractional vector cross product to obtain fractional curl and fractional field of a standing wave, a travelling wave, a transverse wave, a vector field in xy plane, a complex vector field and an electric field. Fractional curl and fractional field for a complex order are also discussed. We have supported the study with calculation of impedance at γ = 0, 0 < γ < 1, γ = 1. The formula discussed in this paper are useful for study of polarization, reflection, impedance, boundary conditions where fractional solutions have applications.
Face Recognition Using Neural Network : A Review
Manisha M. Kasar,Debnath Bhattacharyya,Tai-hoon Kim 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.10 No.3
Face recognition from the real data, capture images, sensor images and database images is challenging problem due to the wide variation of face appearances, illumination effect and the complexity of the image background. Face recognition is one of the most effective and relevant applications of image processing and biometric systems. In this paper we are discussing the face recognition methods, algorithms proposed by many researchers using artificial neural networks (ANN) which have been used in the field of image processing and pattern recognition. How ANN will used for the face recognition system and how it is effective than another methods will also discuss in this paper. There are many ANN proposed methods which give overview face recognition using ANN. Therefore, this research includes a general review of face detection studies and systems which based on different ANN approaches and algorithms. The strengths and limitations of these literature studies and systems were included, and also the performance analysis of different ANN approach and algorithm is analysing in this research study.

The protonation parameters, dissociation constants (pKBH+) of conjugate acid, slope values (m, ϕ and m*) and correlation coefficients (r) of hydroxamic acids were determined by Hammett acidity function method, Bunnett- Olsen method and excess acidity method in hydrochloric and perchloric acid solutions. Effect of acid concentration on partition and percentage protonation was also studied. pKBH+ values show that hydroxamic acids do not behave as Hammett bases, but hydroxamic acids behave as weak bases in strong acidic solutions. The values of pKBH+ obtained through Bunnett-Olsen method and excess acidity method were compared with the Hammett acidity function. ChemAxon’s MarvinSketch 6.1.5 software was also used for determining pKa, pI and microspecies distribution (%) of hydroxamic acids with pH. Hydrogen donor and acceptor values and logD were also obtained. The results show that N-p-chlorophenyl-4- bromobenzohydroxamic acid has the highest pKa and lowest logD values. On the contrary, N-phenyl-3,5-dinitrobenzohydroxamic acid has lowest the pKa and highest logD values.
Case Report : Sclerosing stromal tumor of the ovary
( Manisha Atram ),( Anshu ),( Satish Sharma ),( Nitin Gangane ) 대한산부인과학회 2014 Obstetrics & Gynecology Science Vol.57 No.5
Sclerosing stromal tumor is a rare ovarian tumor, occurring in young adults in the second and third decade of life. We report clinical and histopathological features of three cases of sclerosing stromal tumor of the ovary with a review of literature. The tumor has distinct histological features and is easily recognizable when a high index of suspicion is maintained in young patients presenting with an ovarian mass. These tumors are benign and can be treated successfully by enucleation or unilateral ovariotomy.

These days with the accelerated increase in human population, the amount of information and records is also becoming humongous in almost every aspect that may be considered. Handling such huge amounts of data has now become a backbreaking task. Handling involves – Inserting all the records accurately, displaying particular records according to the need, updating them as and when required and lastly deleting them when no longer of any use. These problems occur especially in large organizations where extensive amount of data is added and updated on a daily basis. We have considered one such organization that is Hospitals and have tackled this problem. We have worked on creating an efficient and user-friendly desktop application, which covers all aspects of data management with the help of Java on Net Beans IDE 7.3 as our front end and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio asourbackend. This application makes data retrieval and handling incredibly easy to manage.

Radioactive materials are released from the molten core into the containment at the time of a severeaccident in a nuclear power plant (NPP). Filtered containment venting system is a popular and effectivesafety measure installed to obstruct the uncontrolled escape of radioactive materials due to the overpressurization of the containment. Different designs of filtered containment venting system (FCVS) areavailable today, each being the result of extensive research and development varying in one way or theother. This paper gives an elaborate description of the different types of FCVS currently being used, thecurrent usage status in over 17 countries and the legislations regarding it. The recent researches beingcarried out in this field has also been discussed in detail. This present paper focuses on the critical reviewof existing FCVS, reports the challenges faced by it and highlights the potential developments to overcomethe difficulties.
