Future of wireless communication: RadioApps and related security and radio computer framework
Mueck, Markus,Ivanov, Vladimir,Choi, Seungwon,Kim, June,Ahn, Chiyoung,Yang, Hyunwook,Baldini, Gianmarco,Piipponen, Antti IEEE 2012 IEEE wireless communications Vol.19 No.4

This article introduces a novel flexible mobile device reconfiguration classes (MDRCs) framework which is expected to be applicable to future generation mass market radio devices. This framework sets the scene for a vision of a smooth evolution of reconfigurability features in mobile devices, paving the way from current, mainly static implementation choices toward a fully flexible device platform environment. For this flexible mobile device framework, baseband interfaces are introduced as they are currently discussed in ETSI reconfigurable radio systems standardization. Furthermore, this technical solution is positioned with respect to security requirements and the basic regulatory framework which is currently under revision in Europe. Indeed, the future revised Radio Equipment and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment Directive is expected to allow for such advanced reconfiguration, enabling users to acquire and install so-called RadioApps software components which may affect the compliance of a mobile device to the essential requirements of the Directive.

The 5GCHAMPION Europe–Korea collaborative project provides the first fully-integrated and operational 5G prototype in 2018, in conjunction with the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games. The corresponding technological advances comprise both an evolution and optimization of existing technological solutions and disruptive new features, which substantially outpace previous generations of technology. In this article, we focus on a subset of three disruptive technological solutions developed and experimented on by 5GCHAMPION during the 2018 PyeongChang Olympic Games: high speed communications, direct satellite-user equipment communications, and post-sale evolution of wireless equipment through software reconfiguration. Evaluating effectiveness and performing trials for these key 5G features permit us to learn about the actual maturity of 5G technology prototyping and the potential of new 5G services for vertical markets and end user enhanced experience two years before the launch of large-scale 5G services.
박막공정의 융합화를 통한 초소형 고체산화물 연료전지의 제작: I. Spray Pyrolysis법으로 증착된 Ni 기반 음극과 스퍼터링으로 증착된 YSZ 전해질의 다층구조

Physical properties of sputtered YSZ thin film electrolytes on anode thin film by spray pyrolisis has been investigated to realize the porous electrode and dense electrolyte multilayer structure for micro solid oxide fuel cells. It is shown that for better crystallinity and density, YSZ need to be deposited at an elevated temperature. However, if pure NiO anode was used for high temperature deposition, massive defects such as spalling and delamination were induced due to high thermal expansion mismatch. By changing anode to NiOCGO composite, defects were significantly reduced even at high deposition temperature. Further research on realization of full cells by processing hybridization and cell performance characterization will be performed in near future.
