Changes in the State of Heat-Resistant Steel Induced by Repeated Hot Deformation

        Lyudmila L. Lyubimova,Roman N. Fisenko,Alexander A. Tashlykov,Roman B. Tabakaev 대한금속·재료학회 2018 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.24 No.1

This work deals with the problems of structural regeneration by thermal restoration treatment (TRT). Theseinclude the lack of a structural sign showing that TRT is possible, a consensus on TRT modes, the data on thenecessary relaxation depth of residual stresses, or criteria of structural restoration. Performing a TRT withoutsolving these problems may deteriorate the properties of steel or even accelerate its destruction. With this inview, the purpose of this work is to determine experimentally how the residual stress state changes under thermaland mechanical loads in order to specify the signs of the restoration of structure and structural stability. Theobject of this research is unused 12Cr1MoV steel that has been aged naturally for 13 years. Using X-ray dosimetrywith X-ray spectral analysis, we study the distribution of internal residual stresses of the first kind duringthe repeated hot deformation. After repeated thermal deformation, the sample under study transforms from aviscoelastic Maxwell material into a Kelvin-Voigt material, which facilitates structural stabilization. A sign ofthis is the relaxation limit increase, prevention of continuous decay of an α-solid solution of iron and restorationof the lattice parameter.

An Optimal Electronic Project Portfolio under Conditions of Uncertainty and Interactions between Projects

        Valentin Ya. Afanasyev,Vladimir F. Ukolov,Natalia G. Lyubimova 대한산업공학회 2021 Industrial Engineeering & Management Systems Vol.20 No.4

Today, organizations are faced with a multitude of projects and investment opportunities, which has made the decision to choose an organizational project due to the complexity of project evaluation and also limited resources face many challenges. Many studies have been performed to present and evaluate the performance of models and algorithms of project portfolio optimization. However, in terms of interactions between projects, many of these studies have been overlooked. This article deals with the issue of electronic project portfolio selection by considering the interactions between projects. For this purpose, a new one-objective linear programming model of integers zero and one, based on gray theory and in conditions of uncertainty, has been developed. In this regard, two multi-criteria utility objective functions have been developed to investigate the conditions for interactions. Finally, the performance of the proposed model is evaluated with a numerical example and the results of its implementation are presented. The results show that the organizational project portfolio selection model has a better performance compared to ignoring these effects by considering the interactions between projects. In fact, the proposed model illustrates the fact that considering the interactions in the project portfolio selection process will create synergies and prevent the selection of projects that are competitive with each other.

      • Differentiated Troy+ Chief Cells Act as Reserve Stem Cells to Generate All Lineages of the Stomach Epithelium

        Stange, Daniel E.,Koo, B.K.,Huch, M.,Sibbel, G.,Basak, O.,Lyubimova, A.,Kujala, P.,Bartfeld, S.,Koster, J.,Geahlen, Jessica H.,Peters, Peter J.,van Es, Johan H.,van de Wetering, M.,Mills, Jason C.,Cle Cell Press ; MIT Press 2013 Cell Vol.155 No.2

Proliferation of the self-renewing epithelium of the gastric corpus occurs almost exclusively in the isthmus of the glands, from where cells migrate bidirectionally toward pit and base. The isthmus is therefore generally viewed as the stem cell zone. We find that the stem cell marker Troy is expressed at the gland base by a small subpopulation of fully differentiated chief cells. By lineage tracing with a Troy-eGFP-ires-CreERT2 allele, single marked chief cells are shown to generate entirely labeled gastric units over periods of months. This phenomenon accelerates upon tissue damage. Troy+ chief cells can be cultured to generate long-lived gastric organoids. Troy marks a specific subset of chief cells that display plasticity in that they are capable of replenishing entire gastric units, essentially serving as quiescent ''reserve'' stem cells. These observations challenge the notion that stem cell hierarchies represent a ''one-way street.''
