Scientific investigations in the past few decades have supported the important role of sleep in various domains of health. Sleep apnea is a highly prevalent yet underdiagnosed sleep disorder representing a valid cardiovascular risk factor, particularly for hypertension. While several studies have demonstrated the benefits of sleep apnea treatment on subclinical cardiovascular measures, there is a paucity of studies proving reduction of cardiovascular events and mortality. Sufficient and high-quality sleep is also important in the maintenance of cardiovascular health. Future investigations should focus on improving identification of patients at greatest risk of adverse cardiovascular sequelae of sleep apnea and testing the therapeutic benefit of sleep apnea treatment in this vulnerable group.

Comparisons with the more familiar TCP/UDP/IP based networking stack and iSCSI/SCSI/Fibre Channel storage networking stacks are provided to facilitate easier understanding.

This paper proposed the hybrid algorithm for the optimization of the structure and parameters of the fuzzy neural networks by genetic algorithms (GA) to improve the behavior and design of fuzzy neural networks. Fuzzy neural networks have a distinguishing feature in that they can possess the advantage of both neural networks and fuzzy systems. In this way, we can bring the low-level learning and computational power of neural networks into fuzzy systems and also high-level, human like IF-THEN rule thinking and reasoning of fuzzy systems into neural networks. As a result, there are many research works concerning the optimization of the structure and parameters of fuzzy neural networks. In this paper, we propose the hybrid algorithm that can optimize both the structure and parameters of fuzzy neural networks. Numerical examples are provided to show the advantages of the proposed method.
Solvent-free nanoparticle fluids with highly collective functionalities for layer-by-layer assembly

<P>Here we demonstrate the successful preparation of solvent-free inorganic nanoparticle (NP) fluids with high functionalities that allow mass production. The inorganic NPs (Ag, Au, and quantum dots [QDs]) used in this study were directly synthesized using hydrophobic stabilizers such as palmitic acid, oleic acid, or tetraoctylammonium bromide in a nonpolar solvent (chloroform or toluene), and these NPs were directly phase-transferred to solvent-free low molecular weight liquid media (<I>i.e</I>., thiol-containing imidazolium-type ionic liquid). The NP fluids formed at room temperature showed excellent functionalities (<I>i.e.</I>, long-term dispersion stability, high electrical conductivity, strong optical energy transfer, and high photoluminescent intensity) without requiring any additional process such as anion exchange or thermal processing. Furthermore, layer-by-layer deposition of QDs stabilized by the ionic liquid induced highly fluorescent properties compared to those of layer-by-layer QD multilayers prepared using conventional ligands such as mercaptoacetic acid or cysteamine, which mainly originated from the high packing density and the relatively high quantum efficiency of ionic liquid-stabilized QDs.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>Here we demonstrate the successful preparation of solvent-free inorganic nanoparticle (NP) fluids with high functionalities that allow mass production. <IMG SRC='http://pubs.rsc.org/services/images/RSCpubs.ePlatform.Service.FreeContent.ImageService.svc/ImageService/image/GA?id=c2jm30815k'> </P>
에폭시 코팅된 기판위에 잉크젯 인쇄된 실버 패턴의 신뢰성 분석

The reliability of inkjet printed silver patterns were investigated by the guide lines built up as assessments methods in the production of conventional rigid printed circuit boards. To prepare reliability patterns, different regular test patterns were created by nanosilver colloids inkjet printing on the frame retardent 4 (FR4) or polyimide (PI) substrate coated with epoxy for each of assessment methods. The surface changes were also characterized by the contact angle measurement. The substrate temperature was changed from room temperature to 70 ℃, and droplets from a 50 ㎛ nozzle were printed on the substrate after optimizing the ejection of individual droplets. The reliability analysis methods include the uniformity of line width and space, dielectric withstanding voltage test, adhesive strength, thermal shock test, pressure cooker test (PCT) and bending test.
