To Provide multicast service for mobile hosts must deal with dynamic member location and its group membership in mobile networks. There are two old approaches as hi -directional tunneling and remote subscription for mobile multicast. The deployment of existing multicast protocols(home agent-based multicast, Bidirectional packet tunneling) is very inefficiently to use network resources such as duplicate copies of multicast datagrams, tunnel convergence, and unicast by long delivery path. The remote subscription scheme may be very expensive because muticast packet delivering is delayed and discontinued frequently by rebuilding a multicast tree to serve multicast when the host move highly. In this paper, we analyse these problems of multicast routing protocols and propose an efficient multicast protocol using cost function to consider the host mobility in wireless mobile networks, By cost function, a mobile host make a decision to receive a tunneled multicast datagram from home agent or to receive a rebuild path from foreign agent. The performance of the proposed protocol was evaluated by simulation under various environments and we got an improved performance.

Elements of atmospheric environment, temperature, humidity and wind, at the compus of KNU(Kyungpook National University) were investigated by the observations. The observed data were compared with those of DWS (Daegu Weather Station). The simulations of wind field and dispersions of polluted gases were conducted by MUKLIMO under the various conditions. The results show that the atmospheric environment of KNU are suitable but the campus does not play role as a heat sink in the city. The simulations of wind field show the air flows and wind channels in the campus clearly. The exhausted gases by motor vehicles on the northside street of campus affect very much to the campus with NW(300˚) wind. The running cars in the campus are also pollute much on the campus with the various wind directions. The characteristics of environmental conditions, various meteorological fields, wind channels, and dispersion of exhausted gases at the campus of KNU were understood quantitatively in the study.

Spectral line profiles of filaments/prominences to be observed by the Fast Imaging Solar Spectrograph (FISS) are studied. The main spectral lines of interests are $H{\alpha}$, Ca II 8542, and Ca II K. FISS has a high spectral resolving power of $2{\times}10^5$, and supports simultaneous dual-band recording. This instrument will be installed at the 1.6m New Solar Telescope (NST) of Big Bear Solar Observatory, which has a high spatial resolution of 0.065" at 500nm. Adopting the cloud model of radiative transfer and using the model parameters inferred from pre-existing observations, we have simulated a set of spectral profiles of the lines that are emitted by a filament on the disk or a prominence at the limb. Taking into account the parameters of the instrument, we have estimated the photon count to be recorded by the CCD cameras, the signal-to-noise ratios, and so on. We have also found that FISS is suitable for the study of multi-velocity threads in filaments if the spectral profiles of Ca II lines are recorded together with $H{\alpha}$ lines.

BL4C SAXS at the Pohang Light Source II is a small-angle X-ray scattering beamline based on an in-vacuum undulator insertion device, Si(111) DCM, and toroidal focusing mirror. The beamline normally provides high-flux synchrotron radiation X-ray sources with energies from 10.3 to 20.6 keV and a 100 µm (vertical) × 300 µm (horizontal) full width at half-maximum focal spot. The analysis of the SAXS data would be facilitated by means of useful ancillary equipment. The design of the beamline, the key components, and its role are described.

The ankle is a complex weight-bearing joint and play an important role biomechanically. The injuries to the ankle joint complex include not only injuries that cause disruption of the bony architecture of the ankle joint but often significant ligamentous and soft tissue components. There is many study for ankle to exact diagnosis and treatment in order to anatomical reduction and stability. The author analysed 105 cases(102 patients) of ankle fracture which were admitted and treated in Orthopedic Department Chungnam National University Hospital from September 1985 to February 1990. The follwing results were obtained. l. According to classification, the most common fracture type was supinaton-external rotation type(33%) in Lauge-Hansen., type B (46%) in DanisWeber., type II unstable (50%) in Tile. 2. Among the three fracture classification, Lauge-Hansen classification is cumbersome and difficult to apply clinically because of complexity and variable fracture patterns but useful for hidden ligament injury. Danis-Weber classification is simple and easily applicated but not helpful for decision of the treatment methods. 3. According to Tile classification, bony avulsion fracture suggested posterior syndesmotic ligament complex injury was noted 26 cases (50%) in type II unstable with operative treatment. 4. Poor cases on clinical result were due to no achieving anatomical reduction and severe initial injury regardless of operative or conservative management.
