        Full spectrum estimation of helicopter background and cosmic gamma-ray contribution for airborne measurements

        The airborne radiation monitoring has been used in geophysics for more than forty years and now it also has its important role in emergency monitoring. The aircraft background and the cosmic gamma-rays contribute to the measured gamma spectrum on the aircraft board. This adverse effect should be eliminated before the data processing. The paper describes two semiparametric methods to estimate the full spectrum aircraft background and cosmic gamma-ray contribution from spectra measured at altitudes where terrestrial contribution is negligible. The methods only assume to know possible peak positions in spectra and their full width at half maximum, that can be easily obtained e.g. from terrestrial measurement. The methods were applied to real experimental data acquired on Mi-17 and Bell 412 helicopter boards. The IRIS airborne gamma-ray spectrometer, with 4 4 L NaI(Tl) crystals, produced by Pico Envirotec Inc., Canada, was used on helicopters’ boards. To obtain valid estimate of the aircraft background and the cosmic contribution, the measurements over sea and large water areas were carried out. However, the satisfactory results over inland were also achieved comparing with those acquired over large water areas

        Simple Technique Reducing Leakage Current for H-Bridge Converter in Transformerless Photovoltaic Generation

        Given their structural arrangement, photovoltaic (PV) modules exhibit parasitic capacitance, which creates a path for high-frequency current during zero-state switching of the converter in transformerless systems. This current has to be limited to ensure safety and electromagnetic compatibility. Many solutions that can minimize or completely avoid this phenomenon, are available. However, most of these solutions are patented because they rely on specific and often complex converter topologies. This study aims to solve this problem by introducing a solution based on a classic converter topology with an appropriate modulation technique and passive filtering. A 5.5 kW single-phase residential PV system that consists of DC-DC boost stage and DC-AC H-bridge converter is considered. Control schemes for both converter stages are presented. An overview of existing modulation techniques for H-bridge converter is provided, and a modification of hybrid modulation is proposed. A system prototype is built for the experimental verification. As shown in the study, with simple filtering and proper selection of switching states, achieving low leakage current level is possible while maintaining high converter efficiency and required energy quality.

        The erector spinae plane block: a narrative review

        Regional anesthesia and pain management have experienced advances in recent years, especially with the advent of fascial plane blocks. The erector spinae plane block is one of the newest techniques to be described. In the past two years, publications referring to ESP block have increased significantly. The objective of this review is to analyze the articles about ESP block that have been published to date. We performed a search in the main databases and identified 368 articles. After a selection of the relevant articles, 125 studies were found eligible and were included in the review. The ESP block is performed by depositing the local anesthetic in the fascial plane, deeper than the erector spinae muscle at the tip of the transverse process of the vertebra. Many cases of its use have been described with satisfactory results in the treatment of both acute pain and chronic pain. The applicability of the technique covers many clinical scenarios. Of the 98 case reports reviewed, 12 and 87 articles, respectively described the technique as a treatment for chronic pain and acute pain. The single-shot was the most frequently used technique. As described in the articles published to date, the technique is easy to perform and has a low rate of complications. However, despite the effectiveness of the technique, further studies are necessary to obtain more evidence of its actions.

        19세기 <수연장>의 분석 및 복원화 연구 - 정해년 『진찬의궤』(1887)를 중심으로 -

        본고는 고종 정해년 『진찬의궤』 <수연장>(壽延長)의 복원 및 공연화를 위하여 19세기 문헌에 나타난 <수연장>을 확인하고, 공연화를 위한 악무보표를 만들어 실제 공연화를 위한 악무 구성에 대해 고찰하였다. 19세기 문헌에 기록된 <수연장>을 확인하기 위하여 순조 무자년(1828) 『진작의궤(進爵儀軌)』, 순조 기축년(1829) 『진찬의궤』, 고종 정축년(1877) 『진찬의궤』, 고종 정해년(1887) 『진찬의궤』, 고종 임진년(1892) 『진찬의궤』에 기록되어있는<수연장>을 「도식」, 「공령」, 「의주」항목을 중심으로 분석하였다. 또한 정해년『진찬의궤』와 동일한 구호와 창사를 가진『정재무도홀기』가 현존하지 않았지만 편찬 시기를 20세기 이전으로 한정할 수 있는 홀기3종 가운데 무동이 중심이 되는『무동각정재무도홀기』를 제외하고『정재무도홀기』와『여령각정재무도홀기』를 바탕으로 복원 재현을 위한 악무구성을 진행하였다. 춤의 진행은 『정재무도홀기』와 『여령각정재무도홀기』에 큰 차이는 없었으나『정재무도홀기』가춤대형의 설명이 자세하게 기록되어 있었으므로 그러한 부분을 적극 활용하였다. 반주악곡의 경우 현재 실전되어 전하지 않은 중강(中腔)은 죽간자 등퇴장에 주로 사용되는 음악임을 고려하여 보허자로 대신 연주하고자 하였다. 또한 향당교주(鄕唐交奏)는 영산회상 가운데 세령산, 도드리, 타령을 중심으로 악무보표를 제작하였다. 현재 중강의 경우 현존하지 않는 음악이기 때문에 중강의 음악복원이 이루어지지 않은 상태로<수연장>을 복원하기는 쉽지 않은 일이다. 하지만 고종 정해년의 전형을 찾아 최대한 근접하게 복원하는 데 그 의의가 있으며 추후에 중강에 대한 새로운 연구와 복원이 이루어진다면 본 논문이 수정될 지가 있음을 밝힌다. The purpose of this study is to look deep into <Suyeonjang(壽延長)> recorded in 19<SUP>th</SUP> century literature and draw musical staff for dancing to perform, and consider how to organize music and dance for actual performance on stage so as to restore and perform<SuYeonJang> in 『JinJakEuiGwe(進爵儀軌)』, written in King Gojong Jeonghae Year. To investigate <SuYeonJang> recorded in 19th century literature, <SuYeonJang> recorded in 『JinJakEuiGwe』(1828) in King Sunjo Muja Year, 『JinChanEuiGwe(進饌儀軌)』(1829) in King Sunjo Kichuk Year, 『JinChanEuiGwe』(1877) in King Gojong Jeongchuk Year, 『JinChanEuiGwe』(1887) in King Gojong Jeonghae Year, and 『JinChanEuiGwe』(1892) in King Gojong Limjin Year was thoroughly reviewed, particularly focusing on 「Do -sik(圖式)」, 「Gong-ryung(工伶)」, and 「Eui-ju(儀註)」. In addition, as 『JeongjaeMudoHol-gi(呈才舞圖忽記)』 which had same chants and songs with 『JinChanEuiGwe』 in Jeonghae Year is no longer in existence, the music and dance were organized and restored, especially based on 『JeongjaeMudo Hol-gi』 and 『YeoRyeongGakJeongjaeMudo Hol-gi(女伶各呈才 舞蹈笏記)』 from 3 types of Holgi which were compiled before 20th century, except 『MuDongGakJeongjaeMudo Hol-gi(舞童各呈才舞蹈笏記)』 led by boy dancers. There’s no significant difference between 『JeongjaeMudoHol-gi』 and 』YeoRyeongGakJeongjaeMudo Hol-gi』 in the development of the dance, but 『JeongjaeMudoHol-gi』 recorded detailed explanation on dance formation for reference. Accompaniment scores were played with Boheoja(步虛子) as an alternative, considering JungGang(中腔) which did not pass down was often used when Jukganja(竹竿子) made its appearance and disappeared. In addition, the musical staff for dancing for HyangdangGyoju(鄕唐交奏) was created, focusing on Seryeongsan(細靈山), Dodeuri, Taryeong(打令) from Yeongsan Hoesang(靈山會上). Since JungGang is the music that does not exist, it’s nearly impossible to restore it given that its music has been not properly restored. However, this study tried to find archetype in King Gojong Jeonghae Year and restore it as much as possible and it could be modified as long as new study will be conducted on JungGang for restoration in future.

        1930년대 기록물에 나타난 춘앵전의 변모양상

        본고는 순조대 이후 춘앵전의 변모 양상을 중점적으로 살펴보기 위해 1차 사료에 기록되어 있는 춘앵전의 기록 및 그 특징을 살펴 본 후 ‘무의’를 비롯하여 ‘이병성노트’, ‘성경린노트’를 바탕으로 1930년대의 정재를 비교 해 보고 김천흥의 1993년 영상을 토대로 현행 춘앵전을 파악하였다. 즉 춘앵전의 전형을 찾고 1930년의 정재를 복원하기 위한 기초 작업으로 춘앵전의 변모양상을 살펴보고자 하였다. ‘이병성노트’와 ‘성경린노트’는 이전 시기의 정재 기록이 담겨있는 『정재무도홀기』에 비해 동작의 주안점, 동작 표현법, 특징 등을 세주에 자세히 기록하였다. 하지만 간혹 두 기록물의 내용에 차이가 있는 부분이 있기 때문에 두 기록물을 상호보완 한다면 1930년대 춘앵전을 자세히 이해할 수 있다. 현행 춘앵전은 두 기록물에 비해 추가, 축약, 생략된 동작이 있었다. 순조대 이후 춘앵전의 변모양상을 살펴보았을 때 1900년대 이전부터 1930년대 까지는 동작의 순서가 동일했으며 1930년대 기록물을 통해 동작의 특징을 더 올바르게 파악할 수 있었다. 이후 이러한 기록물을 토대로 만들어진 춘앵전이 현행 춘앵전이라 할 수 있다. 즉 1930년대 춘앵전을 복원하기 위해서는1930년대 기록물과 현행 춘앵전의 동작법을 적극 활용하여 복원작업이 이루어져야 한다. With the aim of examining how Chunaengjeon has changed since the times of King Sunjo of Joseon Dynasty, this paper inspected the descriptions and characteristics of Chunaengjeon in the first historical sources. It also compared jeongjae of the 1930s in ‘Lee Byeong-seong Notes,’ and ‘Seong Gyeong-rin Notes’ as well as ‘Mueui’, and considered the Chunaengjeon video of Kim Cheon-heung as the model of the current Chunaengjeon. That is, as the groundwork to find the typical type of Chunaengjeon, and to recover jeongjae of the 1930s, this paper examined changes of Chunaengjeon. Compared with Jeongjae Mudo Holgi containing the description of jeongjae in the previous ages, ‘Lee Byeong-seong Notes,’ and ‘Seong Gyeong-rin Notes’ described focus of moves and expression of moves and other characteristics in their footnotes. However, there are some differences in those two records. Thus, if we complement the two records, we can clearly recover Chunaengjeon in the 1930s. The current Chunaengjeon contained some moves added, shrunk, and omitted compared with the two records on Chunaengjeon. From before the 1900s to the 1930s, moves and order of Chunaengjeon were the same. The records of the 1930s allow us to grasp characteristics of its moves more accurately. The current Chunaengjeon was made based on such records. That is, in order to recover Chunaengjeon of the 1930s, we should examine movement methods in the records of the 1930s and current Chunaengjeon.
