        The effects of formaldehyde in anaerobic digestion were : 1. In the cases of batch assay, the methanogenic bacteria were tolerated the toxic when raw and pretreated wastewaters were injected 3 and 5 ml respectively to serum bottle, but shocked when 5 and 10 ml respectively. 2. When raw, pretreated + glucose, and pretreated wastewaters were applied to UASB reators, the results of VLR were obtained 8-10, 3-5, and 2-4 kg cod/㎥ ·d respectived. Result of raw wastewater was the most optima of three. 3. The correlations VLR with bio-gas were obtained 90.5, 46.4 and 34.6% respectively in raw, pretreated + glucose, and pretreated wastewaters. Result of raw wastewater was the most optima of three. 4. In batch assay, pretreatment wastewater is better than raw water, but in continuous assay, raw wastewater is better than pretreatment wastewater. This reason is consideated that unsoluble salt of 373 mg/l is accumulated within UASB reactor, and carries out inhibition to anaerobic bacteria.

      • Houttuynia cordata 및 Saururus chinensis의 정유성분에 관한 연구

        Chemical components in the essential oil of Saururus chinensis and Houttuynia cordata growing in Korea were separated and identified by gas chromatograph and GC-mass spectrometry, and constituents of Saururus chinensis were very different from those of Houttuynia cordata, that is, the former was mainly composed of sesquiterpenoids(C_15H_24, M. W: 204) and safrole, while the latter monoterpenoids and lipids.

      • 야간 환자 발생양상에 관한 조사연구

        This study was conducted with 800 patients, who came to the emergency rooms of hospital and clinic at night time of Cheongju medical bloc, to look for the characteristics of the occurance of: emergency patients at night time, for randomly sampled 7 days containing each different day from April 1st. to April 30th. 1987 on the basis of such various factors as age, sex, residence and status of patients. The following conclusions were obtained 1. The percentage of emergency patients by sex were 60.1% in male and 33.9% in female, making the ratio 1.54 : 1. The age group of 10s and 20s occupied 40.3% of all patients. 2. The percentage of each disease was 41.1% in injury and poisoning, 17.2% in disease of the respiratory system, 16.1% in disease of the digestive system. 3. Male had a higher incidence in the injury and poisoning, disease of the respiratory system, infectious and parasitic disease, but disease of the digestive system, disease of the nervous system and sense organ, complication of pregmancy, child birth and the p lerperium were higher in female. 4. Age distribution of emergency patients showed as followes : Injury and )oisoning had a higher percentage in the age group of 10-49 years, disease of respiratory system under 1 years of age, disease of the digestive system over 30 years of age, disease of circulartory system in 40-50 years of age. 5. Disease distribution on residential area revealed that residents out of city had higher propor tion of injury and poisoning, infectious and parasitic disease than the ones in city. The time of staying in the emergency room were less than 1 hour in 69% of all patients. 6. The status of patients when leaving the emergency room were complete cure(68.7%), admission(17.9%) self-discharge (12.5%), and death(0.9%).

      • 한국에서 자생하는 삼백초와 식물들의 항균력에 관한 연구

        Antimicrobial acivity of the water extract of Saururus chinensis and Houttuynia cordata was compared with that of sythethic antibiotical such as ampicillin trihydrate, amoxicillin trihydrate and cefradin against several bacilli. While it was found that Saururus chinensis extract of 0.5 mg/ml had antimicrobial activity equal to 55% cefradin activity against Bacillus pumilus. 53% of ampicillin trihydrate activity against Bacillus subtilis and 60% cefradin activity against Alcaligenes feacalis. Houttuynia cordata extract of 0.1 mg/ml was found to have 60% ampicillin trihydrate activity and 80% amoxicillin trihydrate activity both against Bacillus pumilus, and 60 - 67% ampicillin trihydrate activity and 60 -67% cefradin activity both against Bacillus subtilis. In general it turned out that Houttuynia cordata extract had higher antimicrobial activity than Saururus chinensis extract.

        배경음악의 특성과 광고의 정보량이 광고시간지각과 광고효과에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to show the influence of congruity with Ads, levels of arousal and operating effect of amount of message information on perception of Ads durations and effects in the traits of background music of radio Ads. In this study, 168 subjects of male and 208 subjects of female were conveniently sampled, and randomly assigned to one of 8 conditions in a 2(congruity, high/low) × 2(amount of information, high/low) × 2(levels of arousal, high/low) factorial design. The results of this study showed that there were main effects of the levels of arousal and amount of information, that is, under the 'condition of low arousal' and 'condition of high congruity condition', there were high scores in the Ad duration the longer. Under 'high congruity condition', there were high scores in the Ad effects consistently, only in the purchase intentions there were interaction effect between amount of information and congruity, therefore operation effect of information was confirmed. There was marginal interaction effect between congruity and amount of information in the Ad effects. Also, there was main effect in the brand attitude, that is, under 'high arousal condition', subjects had the more positive attitude but it is contrary to the hypothesis. And under 'high amount of information', subjects had the more positive attitude in the brand attitude, but it is the results not to be expected by the hypothesis. Finally, implications, limitations and further research about this study were discussed.

      • ATM 망에서 효율적으로 ABR 서비스를 제공하는 확장된 VS/VD 스위칭 알고리즘

        The ATM Forum has been focusing on flow control mechanism for ABR traffic management. The goal of this activity is to efficiently manage the leftover network bandwidth and fairly distribute it among contending ABR VC so that communication links can be optimally utilized. ABR traffic is difficult to predict traffic shape because it has bursts and variable behavior. Also it's sensitive to lose but not to delay. This behavior makes difficult to UPC function in network and cause of congestion in switch, thus performance is degraded. To resolve this problem, various flow control mechanism has been worked in the ATM Forum. Especially, the rate-based flow control mechanism for ABR traffic has been standardized in the ATM Forum, Sept. 1994. Thus, various flow control mechanism has been working which liked EFCI, ER, VS/VD. VS/VD control is superior than existed ER ontrol because it isolate different networks from each other. In this paper, we propose an expanded VS/VD flow control algorithm and compare with existed VS/VD flow control algorithm. Simulation result shows that this algorithm improve a problem in aspect of delay and buffer occupancy and provide a better performance to ABR service in response time, throughput and link rate.

        中國 團領名稱에 關한 硏究

        Dan-Ryong is the traditional clothing that was worn the entire of oriental nations, and it was spreaded from Sun-Bi tribe to China about A.D. 4C. The first, the name of Dan-Ryong was translated with 25-Sa and Ancient-History Book. Among the name of Dan-Ryong, the follows were different between the name and shape. Jang-Bok was the colored Dan-Ryong, So-Bok was the unfigured black Dan-Ryong and removed Hyung-Bae, Ea-Mun-Pho was the Dan-Ryong of embroidered figure poetry, and Ja-Sam was the real short and tight Dan-Ryong. The second, some problems were given by translated Dan-Ryong's name. The results of the problems were as follows; 1. Dan-Ryong was oriented from Won-Wi. 2. At Su-Dynasty, there was going to the persuit of Han-Dynasty Courtesy, but they liked useful custom. Therefore Dan-Ryong was worn in daily life among the population. 3. At Dang-Dynasty, Ho-Bok was devided with three meanings. The first was Go-Sub, the second was Dan-Ryong of Buk-Jo about A.D. 3-5C and the last meaning was the clothing of Uighur, Turkey, Persia and etc. about A.D. 7 C. 4. The name of neck-line shape was started at Song and the majority arised about A.D. 12C. and Dan-Ryong was only arised at Myong-Dynasty. 5. Gok-Ryong, except Song-Sa and Sam-Je-He-Do, was different from Dan-Ryong and it was shape of neck-line inside of Jik-Ryong.

        I. Piety: Question about Self-Identity In the Biblical passage, the world 'pietas' is used not only when refering to human being, but also to God. The hebrew word 'hesed' in the Old Testament and the greek 'hosios' in the New Testament which correspond to 'poetas', point to the truthful and holy God, also to the true believers who are his childern. Therefore, the 'poetas' means the self-identity, the Godness of Godon the one hand, the self-identity of the believers on the other hand. The pietas signifies not any extroardinary and excellent faith, but state of being that all true believers should be. In short, it is the necessary basis of the true believing. II. The Wrong Ways of Piety The ways of pietas which don’t follow the biblical teaching of pietas are its 'wrong ways’. These wrong ways are the divided into ‘incomplete piety’ and 'incorrect piety’ To the former belong 'narrrow piety’, 'small and childish piety’, and to the latter belong any types of unbiblical orientated piety. The reason such the types of piety could be considered 'wrong’ are due to the fact that this types are not based upon the Bible, but rather upon the individual judgements, and their goals are not God-orientated, but selforientated. III. The Wrong Ways of pietas in the history of theology 1. Legalistic Way This is the oldest type of wrong piety and its archetype, against which Jesus Christ in the New Testment reacted. The legalistic way of piety is divided into two types : ‘haughty’ piety and ‘stupid piety’. The latter comes from the lack of the accurate and deep knowledge of the divine commandment and will. In contrast to it, the former are from the formal religious consciousness and the dual persnality. The religious men who stand on the legalistic type of piety, preserve the form of piety, but do not have the contents of piety. The Love to God and Neighborhood overcomes the legalism. 2. Ascetic-Monastic Way The representative type of piety in the later antiquity and in medieval times is the ascetic-monastic way. This type originates from the platonic view of soul-body on the one hand and from the zoroasterian-gnostic dualistic worldview on the other hand. There is in this view no room for the grace of God, the evangelical freedom, the sola fidei,the gloria Dei. The church of Christ is ecclesia, the holy community separated from the world; but, this separatism is not spacial, but rather spiritual 3. Emotinal Way The easiest and most universalist type of piety is the emotional form. This form was prevalent in Schleiermachers Über die Religion in the modern times through the Vinyard-Movement present days. This type of piety is subjectivistic in character and the psychologized form of the Christian faith. If we would accept the emotinal form, what, then, would be the difference between the Christian faith and Brahmanism/Sufisms way? 4. Behavioural-Social Way The social type of piety has dominatedin the modem times from the German Liberalistic Theology through Liberatism Theology. Both advocate, above all, the establishment of the equal society and the liberatism from various social-political suppressions. Both are willing to move from church to society,and from individual to community from the metaphysical-spiritual to the practical-political. True piety for them is not in ‘being’, but in 'doing . However, biblical piety gives greater priority to ‘being’ than ‘doing’. It teaches us also that we should participate in the world spiritually. The true piety is ‘the stay under the Word’. In short, the emotional view understands piety as a problem of emotion; the legal view sees piety as a ceremonial and moral life; the monastic view considers piety to be ascetic discipline; and the social view attributes piety as an activity for social justice. This all types must be called ‘anthropocentric' and they focus their goal just only on the gloria sui. IV. The right way of piety. 1. The basic and the presupposition of the piety: In the biblical perspective, piety has the following characteristics. 1) Piety is not ‘having', but ‘becoming', not ‘possession', but 'existence' 2) Piety is not given innately or by nature, but only by gratia Dei. It is not a form of commen grace, but rather a form of special grace through Jesus Christ. 3) The principles and the criteria of piety are Bibles as the Book of Holy Spirit. The ABCs of piety are in the Holy Bible. 4) Piety is taught and learn in the course of faith. 5) Piety is not abstract, but concrete. It is not a state of the ambiguous feeling; piety should be expressed in faith, personality and life. True piety has the following conditions or presuppositions: The biblical-theistic faith, the right view of the Bible. The right self-knowledge and a good wish for the holy life, the coming and leading of the Holy Spirit and the prayer for it. 2. The essence and aspects of piety: The essence and aspects of the piety come from the Biblical teachings 1) Born-again in Jesus Christ 2) Love and Fear of God 3) Establishment of Biblical faith according to the Word of God 4) Status of fullness of the Holy Spirit 5) Pray and Holiness 6) Life of Devotion for the Gloria Dei The Christians are people not of the world but of the one-book The Christians are the people in the world at same time. The former is given as the divine grace, the latter is given as the divine holy demand for those who already received the grace. Therefore, the piety and the pious life is the divine demand to the people of God in the world. The way of true piety should go from the individual believer to family, church, city and throughout the world.
