        The Semi-Agricultural Zone(SAZ) was introduced through reforming National Land-Use Management Law of 1993. The purpose of this study is to find the land use management on the SAZ in rural areas of Sanchung-Gun. First, the interests are divided into 3 types with the result of the quantitative and qualitative analysis; i ) urbanized area(Sanchung-eup & Sinan-myun) ii ) tourist resort(Samjang-myun, Sichun-myun & Dansung-myun) iii ) agricultural area(Geumsu,Saengcho,Ohbu,Chawhang,Sindeung,Saenbirang-myun ) Second, It was analyzed 3 types with land use, building, landscape. Type Ⅰ has a variable land use that have industrial, service(road side), residential use. Type Ⅱ have motel(love-hotel) and restaurant buildings. Type Ⅲ has only agricultural land use. Third, it was suggested land use management on 3 types of SAZ in Sanchung-Gun ⅰ) TypeⅠ: Land use planning through Gun Comprehensive Plan ⅱ) TypeⅡ: Land use through designing the riverside zone and development for natural protection ⅲ) TypeⅢ: Efficient land use for regional development To conclude, local government should make an effort to secure a reasonable system of land use regulation of SAZ for the sustainable development of the region

      • 웹 온톨로지를 이용한 공급자와 판매자의 데이터 통합 모델

        정보통신의 발전은 경제 구조에 많은 변화를 가져왔으며, 향후에도 많은 변화를 예고하고 있다. 가장 대표적인 것은 경제 흐름의 근간이라 할 수 있는 유통의 변화이다. 이것은 통신망 위에 구축되는 가상의 공간에서 이루어지는 유통을 지칭하는 것으로, 빠른 속도로 발전하고 있다. 이러한 빠른 발전에도 상품데이터베이스를 구성하는 것에는 매우 불합리한 비효율성이 존재한다. 상품데이터베이스 구성의 가장 큰 비효율은 싸이트들이 개별의 데이터베이스를 구성한다는 것이다. 이런 문제를 해결하기 위해 시멘틱웹의 RDF(Resource Description Framework)언어를 이용하여 웹 온톨로지를 구성하여 공급자와 판매자간 상품 데이터를 공유하게 된다면, 전자상거래에서 상품데이터베이스 구성의 비효율성을 제거 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 RDF의 소개와 RDF 웹 온톨로지 편집기를 제작하고, 구성된 RDF를 참조하여 간단한 쇼핑몰을 구성하여 온톨로지를 통한 데이터의 효율적 상호운영성(Interoperability)을 증명하여, 현재 제안되고 있는 상품 카탈로그 분야의 발전에 기여하고자 한다. IT development has brought about many changes in an economic structure, and will bring about many changes in the future. The most representative thing is the change of distribution which is a basis of the economic flow. It means a distribution an a virtual space built through communication network. It has rapidly developed. However, building the product database by each site for numberless products is very unreasonable simple repeating process. To solve this problem, if the product data is shared between a supplier and seller through the web ontology by using the Semantic Web RDF (Resource Description Framework) language, an efficiency of e-commerce will be created. Accordingly, the study is intended to prove an efficient interoperability of data through ontology by introducing the RDF, fabricating the RDF web ontology editor, and building a simple shopping mall through organized RDF, and to contribute to a development of currently-proposed product catalog field.

      • Mg(OH)₂를 이용한 습식탈황에서 폐슬러리 처리특성연구

        Properties analyses and treatment characteristics of waste slurry discharged in the wetted flue gas desulfurization process using Mg(OH)₂as a absorbent were investigated. Aeration and coagulation test were carried out to evaluate variation of some factors such as COD, SS, T-N, etc. related to waste slurry treatment. The hydraulic retention time(HRT) and coagulant dosage rate were applied as operating variables in experiment. As experimental results, the reduction effects of COD, SS in aeration test were distinct, due to oxidation of SO₃ and floc, formation of suspended solids. It was also found that the reduction efficiencies of SS and T-P in coagulation test are higher than 90%.

        오리엔탈나리의 球根 收穫時期와 低溫處理 期間이 生育에 미치는 影響

        This study was carried out to determine the effect of the duration of chilling treatment and the lifting time of bulbs on growth of Lilium Oriental hybrids for product of cut flower in the type of forcing or semiforcing culture in Korea. "Casablanca", "Acapulco" and "Le Reve" in lilium Oriental hybrids were used in these experiment and carried out from 1999 to 2000 in Iksan, Korea. The bulbs for experiment were lifted on August 27, September 27 and October 27 and the all of them were chilled at 5±1℃ for 0,8,10,12 weeks. Development of the bulbs lifted on October 27 was superior than that of lifted bulbs on August 27 in the three cultivars. The bulbs lilted lately and chilled for a long time were sprouted more earlier and grown faster. In order to increase bulb sprouting until 100%, the duration of chilling treatment of bulbs was need for 12 weeks on August 27, 10 weeks on September 27 and above 8 weeks on October 27. The flowering according to the duration of chilling treatment and the lifting time of bulbs was same above. Consequently, the bulbs should be chilled at 5±1℃ for chilled for 10 weeks at late September and 8 weeks in producted bulbs at late October in earlyㆍMidseason variety fur product of cut flower hut bulbs of late variety should be chilled for 12 weeks at late September and 10 weeks at late October.

      • 의료용 선형가속기의 일상 점검을 위해 개발한 이온전리함의 특성 연구

        The dosimetric system consisting of parallel plate type of air-filled ionization chamber and charge-to-voltage converter was designed to do daily constancy check of the high energy photon beam of Clinac 1800C linear accelerator(Varian Co., Pola Alto, California, USA). The ionization chamber was fabricated using acrylic plate for the chamber medium and printed circuit board for electrical configuration. The sensitive volume of the chamber was 1.6cc. High voltage generator was fabricated using the conventional 9V batteries to apply the high voltage(300V) to the electrode of the ionization chamber. Also the charge-to-voltage converter was designed to collect the electrons produced in the ionization chamber cavity. The output reading was converted into the digital signal using the commercially available digital multimeter to produce four-digit readings. The major parameters of the chamber characteristics such as reproducibility. linearity. leakage current. zero drift. timer error. dose-rate effect and polarity effect etc. were measured. These data were comparable to those of the QA-purpose dosimetric system commercially available in the market. Also this dosimetric system can be extended to do the flatness/symmetry check of the photon as well as the constancy check of the various electron beams for the purpose of outputs as well as energy measurements.

        AT9283, 1-Cyclopropyl-3-(3-(5-(Morpholinomethyl)-1H-Benzo[d]Imidazole-2-yl)-1H-Pyrazol-4-yl) Urea, Inhibits Syk to Suppress Mast Cell-Mediated Allergic Response

        Mast cells are an effector cell that plays a pivotal role in type I hypersensitive immune responses. Mast cells exist in connective tissues, such as skin and mucosal tissue, and contain granules which contain bioactive substances such as histamine and heparin in cells. The granules of mast cells are secreted by antigen stimulation to cause the type I allergic hypersensitivity. In addition, stimulated by antigen, mast cells synthesize and secrete various eicosanoids and cytokines. While AT9283 is known to have anticancer effects, the therapeutic effect of AT9283 on allergic disorders is completely unknown. In this study, it was found that AT9283 reversibly inhibited antigen-IgE binding-induced degranulation in mast cells (IC50, approx. 0.58 μM) and suppressed the secretion of the inflammatory cytokines IL-4 (IC50, approx. 0.09 μM) and TNF-α (IC50, approx. 0.19 μM). For a mechanism of mast cell inhibition, while not inhibiting Syk phosphorylation, AT9283 suppressed the activation of LAT, a downstream substrate protein of Syk, in a dose-dependent manner. As expected, AT9283 also inhibited the activation of PLCγ1 and Akt, downstream signaling molecules of Syk/LAT, and MAP kinases such as JNK, Erk1/2, and P38. In an in vitro protein tyrosine kinase assay, AT9283 directly inhibited Syk activity. Next, AT9283 dose-dependently inhibited passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA), an IgE-mediated allergic acute response, in mice (ED50, approx. 34 mg/kg, p.o.). These findings suggest that AT9283 has potential to use as a new drug for alleviating the symptoms of IgE-mediated allergic disorders.

        <P><B>How to Prohibit Mast Cell Activation</B></P><P>Mast cells are the major effector cells of the allergic response. Binding of antigen to immunoglobulin E (IgE) molecules bound to the cell-surface, high-affinity IgE receptor FcεRI results in receptor clustering, mast cell activation, and degranulation, resulting in the release of factors that mediate the allergic response. Phosphorylation and activation of the Src family kinases Lyn and Syk are critical for mast cell activation. Kim <I>et al</I>. found that the scaffold protein prohibitin (PHB), which mediates functions such as mitochondrial biogenesis and transcriptional regulation (see commentary by Yurugi and Rajalingam), was abundant in intracellular granules in mouse mast cells. Stimulation of mast cells with antigen resulted in the translocation of PHB to plasma membrane lipid rafts, which was required for the association of FcεRI with Syk, the activation of Syk, and degranulation. Knockdown of PHB in mice inhibited mast cell activation and anaphylaxis, suggesting that targeting PHB therapeutically may reduce allergic responses.</P>

        Genotoxicity Study of Polysaccharide Fraction from Astragalus membranaceus's Aerial Parts

        Radix Astragali, the root of Astragalus (A.) membranaceus, has been applied in a variety of diseases for a long time in Asian countries such as Korea and China. In addition, the aerial parts such as leaves and stems of A. membranaceus have received a great deal of attention. Recently, the polysaccharide fraction showing a potent immunomoduating activity was isolated from the aerial parts of A. membranaceus. Thus, the aerial parts of A. membranaceus would be worthy enough for a food material and a dietary supplement. However, they should be safe even though valuable. In our previous study, it was estimated that NOAEL for female rats are 5000 mg/kg/day of the crude polysaccharide fraction from A. membranaceusaboveground parts. As a series of safety evaluation, genotoxicity test for the crude polysaccharide fraction was carried out in this study. In conclusion, the three genotoxicity assays provided strong overall support that the crude polysaccharide fraction lacks mutagenic and/or clastogenic potential under the GLP-based test conditions. This indicates the aerial parts of A. membranaceus would be safe enough for a food material and a dietary supplement.

      • Experimental Study of Temperature Distribution of Two-Stage CascadeRefrigeration System Using R508B as Working Fluid at Low Stage

        This paper presents the experimental study on temperature distribution of two-stage cascade vapor-compression system for achieving super-low temperature. Two-stage cascade vapour compression cycle is a method to achieve super low temperature under -80℃. This system requires two different types of refrigerant at higher and lower stages. However, by the Montreal protocol, several refrigerants for the low-stage system as well as high stages have been banned due to its threat to ozone layer. Alternatives retrofit refrigerant for replacing CFC and HCFC lies from HFC to natural refrigerant. In this study, azeotropic zero-ODP refrigerant, R508B blend of two HFC refrigerant R23/R116 (46.0/54.0) was utilized in the low stage cycle, this refrigerant has advantages based on normal boiling point compare to its compositing element. On this experiment, cooling chamber was filled with ethyl alcohol 0, 10, 20, and 25 liter respectively as refrigerant load. By changing the volume of cooling chamber fluid, temperature distribution of the system was observed. More ethyl alcohol mass in the cooling chamber, longer steady state condition achieved. It is also found that the change of ethyl alcohol in the cooling chamber gives little effect on the final temperature distribution.

        Exercise-induced increase of BDNF decreased TG and glucose in obese adolescents

        e purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of exercise on body composition, blood lipids, BDNF, FGF and IGF-1in obese adolescents. The subjects of this study were 16 boys, who were divided into combined exercise group (EG, n = 8) and control group (CG, n = 8). The exercise program was conducted for 50-60 minutes per day, four times a week, for a 12-week period. We measured body composition (Weight, body fat mass, body fat percentage and lean body mass), lipid (TC, TG, Glucose, HDL-C,LDL-C), BDNF, FGF and IGF-1. The comparisons of mean differences before and after the intervention between group, weight (p < .05), BMI (p < .05), Glucose (p < .05) of EG decreased more significantly than CG. And the BDNF (p < .05) was more significant increased than CG. FGF and IGF-1 of EG increased more than CG. The change in BDNF after 12 weeks of exercise program had a reverse correlation with TG (r = -.770, p < .001) and Glucose (r = -.537, p < .05). The IGF-1 change at 12 weeks of exercise program is found to have a reverse correlation with percentage of body fat (r = -.525, p < .05), TC (r = -.520, p < .05), and Glucose (r = -.612, p < .05). It was found that increased BDNF after exercising influences the decrease in TG and Glucose. It is probably because increased BDNF after exercising oxidizes the glucose and TG to increase body temperature and oxygen and energy consumption. These data indicate that 12 weeks of exercise program decreased BMI and increased concentrations of BDNF in the serum.
