        김광석의 음악세계에 새겨지는 껴안는 문화적 분위기로의 환기

        경계의 산책자로서 김광석은 청춘의 젊음에서 고뇌와 방황의 기억을 지속적으로 환기하며, 현재 살아있는 아우라로서 생동하게 한다. 김광석의 음악세계는 현대인에게 세대를 넘어서는 보편적인 공감대-청춘의 경계에서 사랑과 이별-의 기저에서 함께 산책하는 환기와 여과의 반향으로 고양하는 초점으로 지속적으로 환기하는 점에서 중요하다. 김광석 노래의 중요성은 누구나 겪는 청춘의 경계에서 라푼첼의 눈뜸처럼 방황의 산책을 지속적으로 환기하는 분위기에 있다. 즉 그의 음악은 젊음이 예민한 경계에서의 산책을 관조하며, 과거의 잊혀진 기억과 꿈을 현재 새롭게 환기하고 있다. 이러할 때 의미없는 시간대의 단층들은 시간의 향기로서 감싸안는 껴안음의 세계이다. 김광석의 거리는 비정도시와 대조적으로 젊은 날의 사랑과 아픔의 공감대에서 현대인에게 우연히 김광석의 골목길에 들어서면 경쾌한 감각과 충일한 정서로서 회복하는 헤테로토피아의 장소성을 환기하고 있다. 바로 여기에서 김광석의 음악세계와 김광석 거리의 장소성은 세대를 초월하여 모든 세대들이 공감하고 함께 산책할 수 있는 지속적인 관조와 환기로 껴안게 한다. 바로 여기에서 김광석의 음악세계와 김광석 거리의 장소성은 우리에게 공동의 운명으로, 아름다움의 구원으로, 시간의 향기로 그리고 그리움의 미학으로 새롭게 태어나게 한다. ‘Kim Gwangseok as the border stroller’ continuously stirs up the memory of anguish and wandering of the youth and vitalizes it as the ‘alive aura’ at present. The music world of Kim Gwangseok is important as it continuously stirs up and provokes in the focus of direction toward the inducement as ‘walking together’ and reverberation of filtration on the basis of general bond of sympathy-love and separation on the border of youth- beyond the generation for the people living in these times. The importance of the songs by Kim Gwangseok is the mood continuously stirring up the ‘stroll of wandering’ like enlightenment of Rapunzel on the border of youthwhich everyone experiences. In other words, his music newly stirs up the forgotten memory and dream of the past as contemplating the stroll on the sensitive border of the youth. In such mood, the strata of meaningless times is the world which embraces the ‘scent of the times’ The ‘Street of Kim Gwangseok’ stirs up the ‘Placeness of Heterotopias’ restoring pleasant senses and affluent emotions when the people inmodern times accidentally enter into the Alley of Kim Gwangseok with the sympathy on love and pains of youth which is contrary to the heartless city. At this point, the music world of Kim Gwangseok makes embrace the power of continuous contemplation and inducement which all generations can sympathize and stroll together.         조선전기 전의현의 안동김씨 문중 인물과 그 사회적 위상

        이 글은 조선전기 충청도 전의현의 안동김씨 문중을 대상으로 주요 인물의 역사적 가치를 제고하는 한편, 당시 문중이 지녔던 지역사적 위상을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 세종-세조 연간에 두각을 보인 주요 인물의 정치ㆍ사회적 활동을 집중적으로 살펴보고, 그들과 연혼관계에 있었던 인물을 구체적으로 추적했다. 그 결과 고려말 전의현에 입향한 이래로 15세기에 이르러 김익정과 김수녕 등 세종과 세조의 측근으로서 왕의 신임을 받으며 중앙정계에서 활약한 인물들을 배출했다. 특히 그간 효자로 알려진 김익정은 1420년에 주조한 금속활자인 경자자의 제작을 감독한 인물로서 세종대 인쇄문화사에 있어서 주목해야 함을 밝혔다. 이 글을 단초로 역사인물의 발굴과 함께 지역학 연구의 활성화가 이루어지기를 기대한다. The objectives of this thesis are to enhance the historical value of central figures targeting Andong Kim clan in Chonui-hyon, Chungcheong-do in the early Joseon Dynasty, and also to examine the local-historical status of the clan of the time. For this, this study intensively examined the political/social activities of prominent major figures during the reign of King Sejong and King Sejo, and also concretely traced the figures in marriage-based relationships with them. As a result, this study could produce the figures like Kim Ik-Jeong and Kim Su-Nyeong who actively performed in the central political world by having the king’s confidence as a close person to King Sejong and King Sejo in the 15th century after entering Chonui-hyon in the end of Goryeo Dynasty. Especially, Kim Ik-Jeong who is known as a filial son is the one who supervised the production of a metal type ‘Gyeongjaja’ casted in the 1420s, so he should be paid attention in the history of printing culture during the reign of King Sejong. This thesis should be the beginning of the discovery of historical figures and the vitalization of researches on area studies.

        IL-4 Derived from Non-T Cells Induces Basophil- and IL-3-independent Th2 Immune Responses

        How Th2 immunity develops in vivo remains obscure. Basophils have been considered key innate cells producing IL-4, a cytokine essential for Th2 immunity. Increasing evidence suggests that basophils are dispensable for the initiation of Th2 immunity. In this study, we revisited the role of basophils in Th2 immune responses induced by various types of adjuvants. Mice deficient in IL-3 or IL-3 receptor, in which basophil lymph node recruitment is completely abolished, fully developed wild type level Th2 CD4 T cell responses in response to parasite antigen or papain immunization. Similar finding was also observed in mice where basophils are inducibly ablated. Interestingly, IL-4-derived from non-T cells appeared to be critical for the generation of IL-4-producing CD4 T cells. Other Th2 promoting factors including IL-25 and thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) were dispensable. Therefore, our results suggest that IL-3- and basophil-independent in vivo Th2 immunity develops with the help of non-T cell-derived IL-4, offering an additional mechanism by which Th2 type immune responses arise in vivo.

        Sample Preparation of Corn Seed Tissue to Prevent Analyte Relocations for Mass Spectrometry Imaging

        <P>Corn seed tissue sections were prepared by the tape support method using an adhesive tape, and mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) was performed. The effect of heat generated during sample preparation was investigated by time-of-flight secondary mass spectrometry (TOF-SIMS) imaging of corn seed tissue prepared by the tape support and the thaw-mounted methods. Unlike thaw-mounted sample preparation, the tape support method does not cause imaging distortion because of the absence of heat, which can cause migration of the analytes on the sample. By applying the tape-support method, the corn seed tissue was prepared without structural damage and MSI with accurate spatial information of analytes was successfully performed.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>

        The effect of thermal annealing on the layered structure of smectic liquid crystalline organic semiconductor on polyimide gate insulator and its OFET performance

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The electrical performance of organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) depends on the quality of thin-film organic semiconductors, which is significantly affected by solution-processing conditions and additional processes. We investigated the effects of post-thermal annealing on the thin-film morphologies of liquid crystalline organic semiconductors on polyimide gate insulator surface and the FET performances of the films. The active material selected for the OFETs was 2-decyl-7-phenyl-[1]benzothieno[3,2<I>-b</I>][1]benzothiophene (Ph-BTBT-C<SUB>10</SUB>), which shows a highly ordered smectic E (SmE) mesophase and polycrystalline thin films feature very high mobility. We aimed to produce well defined molecular orientation and crystal structure in thin-film Ph-BTBT-C<SUB>10</SUB> on polyimide gate insulator not typical SiO<SUB>2</SUB> gate insulator via thermal annealing process. Uniform bilayer- or monolayer-structured polycrystalline thin films were obtained on polymer gate insulator after thermal annealing at a SmE (over 148°C) and SmA (over 213°C) liquid crystalline phase temperature, respectively.       • Bacterial analysis by laser desorption ionization mass spectrometry on amorphous silicon

        <P>Lipid profiling in nine bacterial species has been accomplished by laser desorption ionization mass spectrometry (LDI-MS) using amorphous silicon (a-Si) thin film with 100 nm thickness. Lipid ions could be generated by LDI on a-Si regardless of ion acquisition modes because of a thermal property of a-Si to govern laser-induced surface heating. In a comparative study of lipid profiling in Bacillus lichemiformis by LDI-MS and matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS), LDI-MS on a-Si shows a higher efficiency in lipid and lipopeptide detection than MALDI-MS. A total of 53 peaks of lipid ions generated by LDI on a-Si in both acquisition modes for m/z 400-1200 was 1.6 times more than that detected by MALDI-MS using three organic matrices-2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid, 1,5-diaminonaphthalene, and 2,4,6-trihydroxyacetophenone monohydrate. Also, the authors demonstrate by mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) that LDI-MS provides high detection coverage through whole sample area. MSI results show the detection yield in LDI on a-Si is 94.8% calculated by counting the number of points detected in the analyte ion signal in a whole spot. It means that reproducible detection of lipid ions by LDI-MS is possible even if laser is randomly irradiated at any position within the bacterial sample area applied on a-Si. Lipid profiling by LDI-MS on a-Si was applied to bacterial differentiation of nine bacterial species conducted by performing principal component analysis.         A Case of Nocardia farcinica Pneumonia and Mediastinitis in an Immunocompetent Patient

        Nocardia species are aerobic, gram-positive pathogens found worldwide in soil. Nocardia is considered an opportunistic pathogen, and its infection mostly occurs in immunocompromised patients. We report a case of Nocardia farcinica induced mediastinitis and pneumonia that occurred in a 64-year-old male patient who had no significant medical history except for hypertension. He visited another hospital with a complaint of dyspnea and left chest wall pain. The symptoms arose 7 days ago without any trauma and they worsened. A mediastinal mass was found on computed tomography scan. After being transferred to our hospital for further evaluation, he was diagnosed with mediastinitis and pneumonia. As N. farcinica was found to be the causative organism by 16S rRNA sequencing, proper antibiotic therapy including trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole was initiated immediately. After this, the patient improved and he was discharged. If an infection has a disseminating course, nocardiosis cannot be excluded even in immunocompetent patients. Once the diagnosis is established, prompt antibiotic therapy should be performed based on the severity.
