      • Zigzag strip bundles and crystals

        We introduce new combinatorial models, called zigzag strip bundles, over quantum affine algebras U<SUB>q</SUB>(B<SUB>n</SUB><SUP>(1)</SUP>), U<SUB>q</SUB>(D<SUB>n</SUB><SUP>(1)</SUP>) and U<SUB>q</SUB>(D<SUB>n+1</SUB><SUP>(2)</SUP>), and show that the sets of all zigzag strip bundles for U<SUB>q</SUB>(B<SUB>n</SUB><SUP>(1)</SUP>), U<SUB>q</SUB>(D<SUB>n</SUB><SUP>(1)</SUP>) and U<SUB>q</SUB>(D<SUB>n+1</SUB><SUP>(2)</SUP>) realize the crystal bases B(~) of U<SUB>q</SUB><SUP>-</SUP>(B<SUB>n</SUB><SUP>(1)</SUP>), U<SUB>q</SUB><SUP>-</SUP>(D<SUB>n</SUB><SUP>(1)</SUP>) and U<SUB>q</SUB><SUP>-</SUP>(D<SUB>n+1</SUB><SUP>(2)</SUP>), respectively. Further, we discuss the connection between zigzag strip bundle realization, Nakajima monomial realization, and polyhedral realization of the crystal B(~).

      • Inbred 마우스 수정란을 이용한 형질전환마우스 생산에 있어서의 효과적인 수정란 이식 방법에 관한 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 inbred 마우스 (C57BL/6J)의 수정란을 이용하여 형질전환마우스를 생산할 때, 수정란이식의 효율성을 증진시키기 위한 것이다. C57BL/6J 및 BCF1 마우스로부터 과배란처리 방법에 의해 수정란을 얻고, DNA를 1 세포기 수정란에 미세 주입한 다음, 1세포기 또는 2 세포기의 수정란을 가임신된 마우스의 한쪽 또는 양쪽 난관에 각각 이식하였다. 1세포기의 수정란을 0.75 d.p.c. 가임신된 마우스의 한쪽 난관에 이식했을 때, 임신율이 C57BL/6J는 68.8±7.83%, BCF1은 48.3±14.22% 이었고, 이식한 수정란 당 산자의 발달율은 C57BL/6J가 11.9±5.51%, BCF1은 10.5±8.03%로 성적이 저조하였다. 그러나, 2세포기의 수정란을 0.5 d.p.c. 가임신된 마우스의 양쪽 난관에 이식했을 때, 임신율이 C57BL/6J는 94.4±9.64%, 13CFl은 100±0% 이었고, 이식한 수정란 당 산자의 발달율은 C57BL/6J가 22.1 ±0.4%, BCF1은 21.8±0.38%였다. 따라서 C57BL/6J 마우스의 2세포기 수정란을 0.5 d.p.c. 가임신된 마우스의 양쪽 난관에 이식하는 것이, BCF1마우스와 유사한 성적을 얻어 경쟁력이 있는 것으로 판단되었다. 이러한 결과에 영향을 미치는 인자가 여러 가지 있을 것으로 판단되지만, C57BL/6J 마우스의 2세포기 수정란을 0.5 d.p.c.가임신된 마우스의 양쪽 난관에 이식하는 방법이 다른 방법보다 형질전환마우스를 생산하는데 효율성이 더 높은 것으로 본 실험에서 확인되었다. The objective of this study is to improve the efficiency of embryo transfer in generation of transgenic mice using inbred mouse (C57BL/6J) embryos. The embryos of C57BL/6J and BCF1 mice were superovulated by the standard protocol. One-cell stage of embryos were microinjected and the resulted one-or two-cell were transferred into one-or two-side oviducts of foster mother, respectively. When one-cell stage of embryos were transferred into one-side oviduct of 0.75 d.p.c. foster mother, the results were not ideal because of showing pregnancy ratios of 68.8±7.83% for C57BL/6J and 48.3±14.22% for BCF1, and development ratios of pups vs transferred embryos of 11.9±5.51% for C57BL/6J and 10.5±8.03% fur BCF1 . However, when two-cell stage of embryos were transferred into two-side oviducts of 0.5 d.p.c. foster mother, we got better results of 94.4±9.64% and 100±0% pregnancy ratio, and 22.1±0.4% and 21.8±0.38% development ratio for C57BL/6J and BCF1, respectively. Therefore, transferring two-cell stage of C57BL/6J embryos into two-side oviducts of 0.5 d.p.c. foster mother may be competitive to the result in BCF1 embryos. Even if there are a lot of other factors affecting these results, we conclude from these experiments that transfer of two-cell embryos into two-side oviducts of 0.5 d.p.c. foster mother is a more efficient and safe method than others in generating transgenic mice using inbred mice embryos.

        During the period from April to August 1971, a survey was carried out to find the state of atmospheric pollution on U-am Dong, Pusan. The obtained results were as follows : 1. The mean temperature, relative humidity, air movement and barometric pressure of U-am Dong area were 20.8℃, 65.9%, 2.0m/sec and 1005.4 mb respectively. 2. The mean value of sulfur oxides was 2.930 mg/SO₃/day/100㎠ PbO₂ ranging from 0.140 to 5.110. 3. The mean value of sulfur oxides by month showed increasing trend from April and it reached peak in July. 4. The mean value of sulfur oxides by area showed peak, 4.361mg/SO₃/day/100㎠ PbO₂ at H. 5. The mean value of dust fall was 44.6ton/㎢/month ranging from 18.8 to 78.8 ton/㎢/month. 6. The mean value of dust fall by month showed peak in June and a trend of decreasing order of April, May, July and August. 7. The mean value of dust fall by area showed peak, 52.1ton/㎢/month at k. 8. The mean value of sulfur dioxide was 0.436 ppm ranging from 0.020 to 4.261 ppm. 9. The mean value of sulfur dioxide by month showed increasing trend from April and peak in August. 10. The mean value of sulfur dioxide by area showed peak, 1.976 ppm at N ranging from 0.501 to 4.261 ppm. 11. The mean value of sulfur dioxide by surveyed hour showed peak at 10:00 to 10:20 during A. M/ and 13:00 to 13:20, P. M.

      • ON LINE CURRENT ANGLE CONTROL METHOD FOR PERMANENT MAGNET SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR

        Generally, the performance of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors(PM motors) is deeply affected by rotor configurations and the current phase control methods. As the current phase control method of PM motor, maximum torque per ampere operation is usually used to minimize copper loss. In order to apply this operation, the differences of rotor configurations are examined. In Surface mounted PM motor, the id = 0 control method is adopted for maximum torque per ampere operation. But in Interior PM motor, any d-axis current exists in order to utilize the reluctance torque as well as the magnet torque. And actually the current phase is altered due to hardware delay and inverter capability. This current phase compensation technique is described in these two machines. The current phase compensation technique is described not ROM_Based loop up table method but ON_Line method by synchronous rotating reference frame. The speed control system of PM motor fed by a PWM current controlled voltage source inverter is investigated. The control system was implemented using a high performance microprocessor, and laboratory tests carried out.<br/>

      • 사과 矮性臺木 繁殖 및 育苗에 關한 硏究

        For the supply of the dwarf root stock of apple tree rapidly, there must be proper method in propagation of it, therefore we purposed to find out the profitable method of propagation of dwarf apple root stock and the influence of root stock on the plant division and the growth of apple tree scions. In this study, 4 kinds of common root stock, 5 varieties of dwarf apple tree, and 6 kinds of spur variety were employed, the result were as follows. 1. Layer treatment was suitable on the division and growth of MM 106, MM 111, M 7, and especially MM 111 was promoted on root formation. 2. At mound treatment, M 7 produced most divided plant than the others, and promotion of root formation was expected on MM lines. 3. Comparing of plant division between layer treatment and mound treatment, layer treatment was more effective than mound treatment, but root formation was not. 4. For the propagation of dwarf apple tree by the grafting, M. baccata and M. sieboldii was profitable as the root stock of dwarf apple tree, because the union by callusing and the growth after the grafting was effective by using of those root stock. 5. Considering the growth of scion of apple tree, MM 106 was more suitable than M 9 as the inter media stam, and the grafting of Mac spur on the inter media stem, MM 106, most was promoted in growing and rooting. 6. There were different combination on root stock and scion for the propagation of spur apple tree, proper combination were as follows, Sundale Sturdee spur G.D. …… M. prunifolia, Nugget spur Y.D.ㆍSky spurㆍMac spur,ㆍJonathan…… M. sieboldii, Wayne spurㆍNugget spur,…… M. baccataㆍM. sieboldii.

        해외근로자 1,250명에 대한 재해원인(미국 표준연구소와 국제노동기구의 분류법에 의함)을 조사 분석하여 산업재해 예방 대책의 기초 자료를 얻고자 한 것이다. In order to obtain basic reference materiols for the estabishment of effective industrial safety programmes in oversea workers, accident causes were investigated among 1,250 injured workers, The data were analized according to the USA Standards Institute and International Labour Organization method. The results were as follows: 1.The most prevailing injuries were fractures, contusions, strains, cuts, lacerations and punctures, which were 72% of the total 1,250 cases of occupational injuries. 2.The parts of body most frequently injured were spines, upper extremities (including fingers), head and lower extremities. 3.The most responsible source of injuries were building construction, transport and power machine equipments. 4.According to the accident type, fall from elevation, over exertion, caught-in, struck-by and fall on same level were most frequently observed which were 70% of the total number of injuries. 5.According to the unsafe acts, carelessness and unsafety information were most frequently observed which were 80% of the total number of injuries. 6.Unsafety acts were mot responsiable causes of injuries, accounting for 49%. The major hazardous conditions in or about causes were approach of hazardous sites handling of hazadous matrials and carelessness of work motion. 7.Practically all oversea workers accident records could produce the causes of accident which fell into the categories. The moat hazadous conditions were unsafety acts and building construction materials were the most responsible sources of injuries. 8.There were close associations between the nature of injuries and injured body parts, the types and of causes injuries, unsafety acts and kinds of work among injured workers.

        Nakajima monomials, Young walls and Kashiwara embedding for U<sub>q</sub>(A<sub>n</sub><sup>(1)</sup>))

        In this paper, we realize the crystal basis B(λ) of the irreducible highest weight module V(λ) of level 1 for U<SUB>q</SUB>(A<SUB>n</SUB><SUP>(1)</SUP>) using Nakajima monomials satisfying some conditions. Also, from this monomial realization, we obtain the image of Kashiwara embedding Ψ<SUB>@?</SUB><SUP>λ</SUP>:B(λ)@?Z<SUP>∼</SUP>@?R<SUB>λ</SUB>, where @i is some infinite sequence from the index set of simple roots. Finally, we give a U<SUB>q</SUB>(A<SUB>n</SUB><SUP>(1)</SUP>)-crystal isomorphism between Young wall realization and monomial realization, and so we can understand the image of Kashiwara embedding Ψ<SUB>@?</SUB><SUP>λ</SUP>:B(λ)@?Z<SUP>∼</SUP>@?R<SUB>λ</SUB> using the combinatorics of Young walls.

        Zigzag strip bundles are new combinatorial models realizing the crystals B(~) for the quantum affine algebras U<SUB>q</SUB>(g), where g=B<SUB>n</SUB><SUP>(1)</SUP>,D<SUB>n</SUB><SUP>(1)</SUP>,D<SUB>n+1</SUB><SUP>(2)</SUP>,C<SUB>n</SUB><SUP>(1)</SUP>,A<SUB>2n-1</SUB><SUP>(2)</SUP>,A<SUB>2n</SUB><SUP>(2)</SUP>. In this paper, we give new realizations of the crystal bases B(λ) for the irreducible highest weight modules V(λ) over quantum affine algebras U<SUB>q</SUB>(g) using zigzag strip bundles. Further, we discuss the connection between zigzag strip bundle realization, Nakajima monomial realization, and polyhedral realization of the crystals B(λ).
