Recent Application of Rail Joint Welding in Europe - Flash Butt Welding Gains Increasing Importance

Continuously welded tracks, first introduced on train lines, are being used increasingly in Europe. And the different arc welding methods are only used on minor lines, private tracks and in the manufacturing of switches and crossings. Mobile flash butt welding belongs the future in rail welding on side if new tracks have to be erected. The following contribution reviews the processes available, usual test methods for welded rail joints and various applications.

This study was select the test items of dynamic flexibility through factor analysis and to make out criteria. The subject were 118 high school students in seoul. The Sub-test of this study were 48 items. The findings and conclusions of this study were as follows ; The structure of the factors in the dynamic flexibility is diveded into 8 fields ; the dynamic forward and sideward bend flexibility, the dynamic trunk twist flexibility, the dynamic sideward bend and power-agility flexibility, the dynamic backward flexibility, the dynamic twist flexibility with position, the dynamic backward bend flexibility with sixty degree-closed standing position, the dynamic right sideward bend and power-agility flexibility, and the dynamic were less by fours than the 12fields of the structural factors, which were defined as a hypothesis of this study, Such a result came because that sone of the fields include (individually) two or three movement rather than being analysed by the movements in each of the fields.

GEPR(glass fiber reinforced plastics)has the unique properties of matter such as low desity high strengh and medium range of young's modulus. Also the mechanical property of GFRP is difficult to cutting because of high hardness and brittleness. which should yield the severe tool wear. The direction of tool wear parallels with the grain of the grass fiber. This study has suggested the tool wear mechanism using the parameters by the cutting direction and the orientation the grass fiber so that the contact length mainly decreases as the rake angle increases. Therefore the tool wear and the depth of tool edge. Finally a test is examined to show the relation between the wear and the contact length of tool edge was deformined.

The experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of kinetin treatment on growth and development of tabacco plants. Experiment plots were composed of 5 kinetin levels (0, 5, 10. 25 and 50ppm), and the kinetin was sprayed at cotyledons after germination of tobacco seeds 5 times everyday. For thin experiment. Hicks tobacco(Nicotiana Tabacum L.) was cultured in field condition after the kinetin treatment. Stem elongation was accelerated in only 5ppm plot, but final stem height was higher in all treated plot than control plot, especially in 5 and 10ppm plots. Fresh and dry weight of shoot (stem, leaves) were increased at all stages of growth in kinetic treated plots, and there were remarkable differences in low kinetin levels and at late stage of growth. There was no measurable differences on number of differentiated leaves, days to flowering, curable leaves, leaf area and leaf shape between each plots. But fresh and duty weight of curable leaves were increased significantly in 5 and 10ppm plots, and stem weight and diameter showed the name tendency to the weight of curable leaves. And no change was showed in nicotine and total nitrogen contents among curable leaves by kinetin in treatment.

In making an attempt to examine the fitness training effects on coordination and strength of preschool children, four groups of 5 year old children consisted of two experimental groups of three children for each sex and two controls of similar composition were employed. Experimental groups were subjected to one circuit of various physical activities which lasted for 30-40 minutes per day for 5 weeks. Measurements obtained in continuous tapping, whole body reaction time, grip strength and vertical jumping during those five weeks except in Sundays and national holidays were analysis method and were compared with the results of physical fitness tests. The results were summarized as follows: (1) The analysis of daily fluctuations in physical fitness test performances for five weeks showed that each subject had specific pattern of fluctuations in terms of different periods, amplitudes and linear trend. (2) When compared the mean amplitudes of daily fluctuations in physical fitness tests with the mean values of increase from pre-training values, tapping was found to be the only variable with significant differences between them.
