      • Flangeless Esser PET Phantom 영상 자동 분석 프로그램의 유용성 평가

        Purpose: ACR (American College of Radiology) offers variable parameters to PET/CT quality control by using ACR Phantom. ACR Phantom was made to evaluate parameters which are uniformity, attenuation, scatter, contrast and resolution. Manual analysis method wasn't good for the use of QC because values of parameter were changed as it may user and it takes long time to analysis. Ki-Chun Lim, a nuclear scientist in AMC, developed program that automatically analysis values of parameter by using ACR Phantom to overcome above problems. In this study, we evaluated automatic analysis program's usability, through the comparing SUV of each method, reproducibility of SUV when repeated analysis and the time required. Materials and Methods: Using Flangeless Esser PET Phantom, the ideal ratio of 4 : 1 hot cylinder and BKG but it actually showed a ratio of 3.89 to 1 hot cylinder and BKG. SIEMENS Biograph True Point 40 was used in this study. We obtained images using ACR phantom at Fusion WB PET Scan condition (2 min/bed) and 120 kV, 100 mAs CT condition. Using True X method, 3 iterations, 14 subsets, Gaussian filter, FWHM 4 mm and Zoom Factor 1.0, $168{\times}168$ image size. We obtained Max. & Min. SUV and SUV Mean values at Cylinder (8, 12, 16, 25 mm, Air, Bone, Water, BKG) by automatic program and obtained SUV by manual method. After that, we compared manual and automatic method. we estimate the time required from opened the image data to final work sheet was completed. Results: Automatic program always showed same result and same the time required. At 8, 12, 16 and 25 m cylinder, manual method showed 6.69, 3.46, 2.59, 1.24 CV values. The larger cylinder size became, the smaller CV became. In manual method, bone, air, water's CV were over 9.9 except BKG (2.32). Obtained CV of Mean SUV showed BKG was low (0.85) and bone was high (7.52). The time required was 45 second, 882 second respectably. Conclusions: As a result of difference automatic method and manual method, automatic method showed always same result, manual method showed that the smaller hot cylinders became, the lager CV became. Hot cylinders mean region size, the smaller hot cylinder size becomes we had some trouble in doing ROI poison setting. And it means increase in variation of SUV. The Study showed the time required of automatic method was shorten then manual method.

      • 상부소환관협착에 대한 Savary-Gilliard Dilatation의 치료효과와 안전성에 관한 관찰

        For the patient with stenosis of upper digestive tract caused by either benign or malignant process, esophageal dilatation is an important therapeutic modality. We reviewed retrospectively 39 cases treated by Savary-Gilliard dilatation for upper digestive tract stenosis, and results were follows : (1) Dysphagia was improved in 95% of the patients. (2) Eight patients(20%) sufferd perforation, five of them were managed with conservative medical measures, others were managed operatively. (3) In the cases with benign stenosis dysphagia was not noticed for 8.8 months, but with malignant stenosis dysphagia was reappeared after 2.8 months despite concomitant chemoradiotherapy. In conclusion, Savary-Gilliard dilatation was an effective measure for symptome due to upper digestive tract stenosis, but more careful attention for perforation should be necessitated. Also another therapeutic modality for treatment of malignant stenosis was inevitable.

      • 냉동ㆍ공조 장치에서 R-22와 자연냉매 R-290의 열전달과 사이클 특성

        A basic heat pump system was designed and manufactured, in which a pair of bare tube was constructed as main heat exchanger. New natural refrigerants R-290 and HCFC refrigerant R-22 were used. In this paper, cycle characteristics of global heat pump, evaporation and condensation heat transfer characteristics were studied and a basic data base for the optimum design of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems was obtained. On the condensing and evaporating heat transfer characteristics, the average heat transfer coefficient was obtained the higher value in R-290 than R-22 refrigerant. Characteristics of heat pump cycle were researched based on the compressor shaft power, cooling capacity and coefficient of performance. From these results, the heat pump cycle characteristics were more affected from the refrigerant properties and operating conditions. Considering the results, R-290 refrigerant has a sufficient ability to substitute R-22 due to its higher performance.

      • 위궤양에 대한 Teprenone(Selbex^�)의 임상효과

        The study objective was to assess the ulcer healing effects of Teprenone, stimulator of mucus production, given in dose of 50mg tid. We reviewed 25 cases of gastric ulcer proven endoscopically and treated by Teprenone. The results were follows; 1) The healing rate of gastric ulcer was 72% after 8 weeks treatment. 2) Subjective symptoms such as epigastric pain, belching, nausea, anorexia and vomiting were subsided at 86%. 3) There were not developed any symptoms, signs and laboratory abnormality (CBC, liver funtion test, urinalysis) suggesting side effect of drugs. In conclusion, Teprenone was considered an effective and safe drug in the treatment of gastric ulcer diseases.

      • 소화성 궤양에 대한 Nizatidine의 임상효과

        Nizatidine is a newly introduced potent H2-receptor antagonist of acid secretion with long duration of action. For evaluation of clinical efficancy and safety, twenty one patients with endoscopically proved thirteen gastric ulcers and eight duodenal ulcers were treated with nizatidine 300mg at bed time via per os for 6 weeks. The results were as follows 1. The rate of complete endoscopic healing of duodenal ulcer 92.3% and 87.5% after 6 weeks. The overall healing rate of peptic ulcer was achieved in 89.9% at 6 weeks. 2. Clinical symptoms disappeared in 84.6%, 92.3% and 100% of patients with duodenal ulcer and 75.0%, 87.5% and 87.5% patients with gastric ulcer at 2, 4 and 6 weeks respectively. 3. There were not developed any symptoms and signs suggesting side effect of drug. In conclusion, data from this study suggest that nizatidine 300mg p.o. at sleeping time is effective and safe in treatment of peptic ulcer disease, and is well tolerated on a short-term basis.

      • 包裝 필름 種類와 LCA條件劑의 組合處理가 切花 카네이션(Dianthus caryopyllus L.cv. Castellaro)의 品質과 壽命延長에 미치는 影響

        포장 필름 種類와 LCA條件劑의 組合處理가 카네이션 'Castellaro' 품종의 包裝除去 후의 品質과 保存溶液 하에서의 品質에 미치는 효과를 조사한바, 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) 카네이션은 필름 포장을 제거 후 수돗물 處理에서 6번 처리구((NO. 20 film+KMnO₂)는 대조구에 비해 花徑을 크게 하는 효과를 나타냈으며, 2∼3일 정도의 壽命延長 效果가 있었다. 2) 필름 포장을 제거 후 保存 溶液의 處理는 처리간에 별 차이가 없으며, 수도물 처리에 비해 공히 5∼6일간의 壽命延長 효과를 나타냈다. 3) 카네이션의 운송시 箱子內 LCA 조건제 처리는 切花의 상태 및 壽命延長에 큰 효과를 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 4) 카네이션의 포장내 적정 CO₂ 조성은 7∼20%, O₂ 조성은 0.5∼1% 이상인 것으로 나타났으며, LCA條件劑 없이도 적절한 拘才를 사용할 경우 鮮度維持에 상당한 효과를 얻을 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. This experiment was conducted to study the influence of various films and LCA(Low-ethylene controlled atmosphere) conditioner on the quality and vase life of cut carnation(Dianthus caryophllus L. cv. Castellaro). The results were summarized as follows. 1) When tap water was used as a basal solution after removal of film bag, the treatment of 6(NO. 20 film+KMnO₄) increased the flower diameter of carnation effectively and extended vase life over 2∼3 days when compared to the control. 2) There were no significant differences between preservative solutions containing carnations which had been pretreated with different film bags. However, all treatments with preservative solutions extended vase life 5∼6 days longer than those with tap water. 3) The addition of LCA conditioner in the film bag during transportation of cut carnation had no effect on extending longevity and quality. 4) The use of film bag with a porper permeability without LCA conditioner may keep cut carnation fresh during transportation and prolong the storage life effectively. 5) The effective gas condition in film bag for the short period storage was of cut carnation 7∼20% CO₂ and O₂〉0.5∼1% in film bag.

      • 회수수 안정화제를 사용한 콘크리트의 공학적 특성에 관한 연구

        In this study is investigated the engineering properties of concrete using stabilizing agent of recycling water in order to suggest a practical use of recycling water. According to the results. as stabilizing agent is added. fluidity and air content varies slightly with W/C, but does not make a big difference. Bleeding is reduced by adding stabilizing agent, and so it decreases by about 40% at the adding ratio of 0.15%. When stabilizing agent is not added, compressive strength decreases in comparison with plain concrete, but increases by adding stabilizing agent, so it is largest at adding ratio of 0.30%(W/C 30%) and 0.15%(W/C 40, 50%). Length change by drying shrinkage is larger than plain concrete in the case of no adding of stabilizing agent, but decreases by the use of stabilizing agent. Therefore, it is thought that when stabilizing agent is added to recycling water, quality deterioration of concrete is prevented, moreover, quality of concrete can be improved.

      • 수평 내면 핀관내에서 R-22와 대체 냉매의 증발 열전달 비교

        Worldwide energy consumption has been recently increasing enormously, especially in refrigeration and air conditioning industries. As a result of this increase, atmospheric hydrocarbon and other gas levels have increased so that they may be a source of world environmental problems. Therefore, new research was started to overcome the environmental problems, like the destruction of the ozone layer and the warming of Earth's temperature, by the use of natural refrigerants as substitutes for the freon refrigerant. In this paper, evaporation heat transfer of global heat pump using grooved inner tube was studied. New natural refrigerants R-290 and HCFC refrigerant R-22 were used. The local heat transfer coefficient was decreased according to the evaporation process. Moreover, the increment of heat transfer coefficient was found in R-290 refrigerant. Average heat transfer coefficient was obtained the higher value in R-290 refrigerant than R-22. Comparing the heat transfer coefficient between experimental result and simulation data of other's, the Shah's correlated equation was closely assimilated to the author's experimental results.

      • 식도정맥류출혈에 대한 내시경적 경화요법의 시술방법에 따른 지혈효과의 비교연구

        Endoscopic Injection Sclerotherapy(EIS) is currently the primary treatment of choice for the majority of patients who present esophageal vsarix bleeding. But, in EIS, unanswered methodologic problem and controversies remain. We assigned 99 patients with esophageal varix bleeding seen at Chungnam National University Hospital from May. 1989 to Dec. 1991. Single injection at one varix column was made in 73 patients (Mono-puncture group) and multiple injections were made in 26 patients (Multi-punctures group). The results are follows 1) Mean age was 48.01±11.4 years and male to female ratio was 7:1, but there was no difference between 2 groups. 2) Most frequent etiology of bleeding varices were alcoholic liver cirrhosis(43 %) and hepatitis B virus associated liver cirrhosis(31%), and the most patients had a advanced liver disease, such as Child's classification B(46%) and C(29%), but there was no difference between 2 groups. 3) In variceal form, rates of Fl, F2 & F3 were 2%, 27%, & 67%, and red color sign was seen in 80% of patients, but there was no difference between 2 groups. 4) Total number of treatment were 3.1± 2.1 in mono-puncture group and 4.1± 3.0 in multi-puncture group, and total volumes of sclerosant were 21.3± 17.Oml, 30.3± 19.4m1. Mean volumes per treatment session was 6.9± 4.5ml, 7.4± 5.9ml, and mean volume per one puncture site were 1.6± 1.0 ml and 1.1± 0.9ml. There were significantly difference between 2 groups in total volume of sclerosant and mean volume per one puncture site. 5) Before and after EIS, the changes of hematologic finding were not significant, and transfusion requirments were decreased, in both groups. 6) Complications of EIS were chest and epigastric pain(82%), fever(31%), pleural effusion(8%), sclerotherapy failure(9%) and rebleeding during admission(15%), but there was no difference between 2 groups. These findings suggest that differences of clinical effects and complications were not significant between 2 groups.

      • 안정화제를 사용한 회수수의 고형분량 및 방치시간에 따른 시멘트 모르터의 특성

        This study is intended to investigate the fundamental properties of cement mortar with solid content and leaving time of recycled water that stabilizing agent is added. According to the results, fluidity and air content does not make a big difference with variation of solid content. As the leaving time of recycled water is long, fluidity and air content increases. Setting time is shortened due to fine particle with an increase of solid content and leaving time. Compressive strength and flexural strength increase with an increase of solid content, and they increase at the leaving time of 1 day, but decrease after 2days. Length change by drying shrinkage is smaller than that of plain concrete, and is almost same with variation of solid content. And it is reduced at the leaving time of 1 day, but increases after that. Therefore, it analyzed that the effect of stabilizing agent is best under condition of adding ratio of 0.15%, solid content of 3% and leaving time of 1day, and it also works upto solid content of 5% and leaving time of 2days.
