Finite element modeling and bending analysis of piezoelectric sandwich beam with debonded actuators
K. Venkata Rao,S. Raja,T. Munikenche Gowda 국제구조공학회 2014 Smart Structures and Systems, An International Jou Vol.13 No.1
The present work pays emphasis on investigating the effect of different types of debonding on the bending behaviour of active sandwich beam, consisting of both extension and shear actuators. An active sandwich beam finite element is formulated by using Timoshenko’s beam theory, characterized by first order shear deformation for the core and Euler-Bernoulli’s beam theory for the top and bottom faces. The problemof debondings of extension actuator and face are dealt with by employing four-region model for inner debonding and three-region model for the edge debonding respectively. Displacement based continuity conditions are enforced at the interfaces of different regions using penalty method. Firstly, piezoelectric actuation of healthy sandwich beam is assessed through deflection analysis. Then the effect of actuators’ debondings with different boundary conditions on bending behavior is computationally evaluated and experimentally clamped-free case is validated. The results generated will be useful to address the damage tolerant design procedures for smart sandwich beam structures with structural control and health monitoring applications.

K. Srinivasa Rao,Venkata Naresh Mandhala,Debnath Bhattacharyya,Tai-hoon Kim 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of Control and Automation Vol.7 No.10
Privacy preserving data mining is a research area concerned with the privacy driven from personally identifiable information when considered for data mining. This paper addresses the privacy problem by considering the privacy and algorithmic requirements simultaneously. The objective of this paper is to implement an association rule hiding algorithm for privacy preserving data mining which would be efficient in providing confidentiality and improve the performance at the time when the database stores and retrieves huge amount of data. This paper compares the performance of proposed algorithm with the two existing algorithms namely ISL and DSR.

On some parameters Software cost estimation based on development and effort on the project. Every line of code and every method are important to estimate the cost of project. To develop the software project using well defined scientific principles, methods, statements and functions, though there are many costs estimation models are available to estimate the cost of project, but still there is lack of efficient system to predict the cost estimation based on size of project, functionality of project, methods of project. In the existing system cost estimation is done on the basis of lines of code, resource management, in time process. Because of various reasons in the existing system we have identified the drawbacks. In this paper, cost prediction model is defined based on clusters, the number of clusters will form the centroids. Each centroid has a specific number of clusters. Each cluster will be called as rule. In this paper, results will show the prediction of cost estimation is defined.
Dynamic Session Key based Pairwise Key Management Scheme for Wireless Sensor Networks
( Premamayudu B ),( K. Venkata Rao ),( P. Suresh Varma ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2016 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.10 No.12
Security is one of the major challenges in the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). WSNs are more vulnerable to adversarial activities. All cryptographic security services indirectly depend on key management. Symmetric key management is the best key establishment process for WSNs due to the resource constraints of the sensors. In this paper, we proposed dynamic session key establishment scheme based on randomly generated nonce value and sensor node identity, in which each sensor node is equipped with session key on expire basis. The proposed scheme is compare with five popular existing key management systems. Our scheme is simulated in OMNET++ with MixiM and presented experimental results. The analytical study and experimental results show the superiority of the proposed scheme over the existing schemes in terms of energy, storage, resilience and communication overhead.

The heat and mass transfer characteristics of the unsteady hydromagnetic natural convection flow with Hall current and Soret effect of an incompressible, viscous, electrically conducting, heat absorbing and optically thin radiating fluid flow past a suddenly started vertical infinite plate through fluid saturated porous medium in a rotating environment are taken into account in this paper. Derivations of exact analytical solutions are aimed under different physical properties. The velocity, concentration and temperature profiles, Sherwood number and Nusselt number are easily examined and discussed via the closed forms obtained. Soret effect and permeability parameter tends to accelerate primary and secondary fluid velocities whereas hall current, radiation and heat absorption have reverse effect on it. Radiation and heat absorption have tendency to enhance rate of heat transfer at the plate. The results obtained here may be further used to verify the validity of obtained numerical solutions for more complicated transient free convection fluid flow problems.
Efficient Adaptive Algorithm Technique for Acoustic Echo Cancellation
Sk. Mastan Sharif,K. Satya Prasad,D. Venkata Rao 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.11 No.9
The adaptive decision feedback equalizer (ADFE), which makes use of the regenerative effect of the non-linear decision device is an effective means for equalizing the channels that exhibit spectral nulls. A common problem faced by the ADFE is that with increasing data transmission rate, the channel IR length increases and thus the orders of both the FFF and the FBF increase. The resulting increase in complexity makes the real time operation of the ADFE difficult, especially in view of simultaneous shortening of the symbol period, which means that lesser and lesser time will be available to carry out the computations while the volume of computation goes on increasing. Since it has been reported that substantial echo cancellation leads to increased system quality and capacity, this paper proposes different sign LMS based ADFEs to cancel the echo signal. The Signed-Regressor LMS gives better performance in terms of their figure of merits compared to the normal LMS and other signed based ADFEs.
