      • 중성자 collimator의 제작 및 Am-Be 중성자 파고스펙트럼 측정

        The neutron collimator, 20cm width, 30cm length, 15cm height and 1cm diameter of hole was constructed by using polyethylene block which includes 15% boric acid. The total cross section of average 7.7MeV neutrons for Al, Cu, Au, Pb samples and the scattering angular distribution of the same energy for Al sample were measured by using 10mCi Am-Be fast neutron source. The range of average 7.7MeV neutron energy were selected from 6.45 MeV to 8.95MeV at the measured pulse height spectrum.2"Φ×2" NE-213 organic liquid scintillation detector was used on the measurement of neutron flux. The Pulse Shape Discrimination(P.S.D.) methods were used for the spectra separation of neutron with r-ray at the mixed field. The results of measurement of total cross section and scattering angular distribution for average 7.7MeV neutrons were compared with other researcher’ and ENDF/B-VI, respectively.

      • 저밀도 폴리에틸렌에서 불순물 혼합량에 따른 트리진전과 방전펄스와의 관계 연구

        It is well known that, when enough high voltage is applied to a high-voltage cable with an insulator, treeing phenomenon can occur due to void or impurities such as dust, metal powder, etc. inside the insulator. Also,it is known that this treeing phenomenon drastically shortens the life of the insulator. In this paper, we investigate the effects of the mixture ratio of impurities to the Low-Density Polyethylene used as an insulator on the treeing phenomenon based on the electrical characteristics. As impurity samples, Al₂O₃ and SiO₂with the particle diameter of 44μm have been used for different weight mixture ratios of 1%, 5%, and 10%, respectively. Since the treeing phenomenon occurring in the sample, based material of Low-Density Polye thylene mixed with 1% impurity can easily be observed with an optical microscope, we have first investigated the relationship between the result measured from electrical characteristics and the one obtained from observation with an optical microscope. Specifically, it has been found that the total number of pulses measured from the eletrical waveform of the treeing phenomenon is closely related with the growth length of the tree observed with an optical microscope. Based on these results, the growth length of the tree for the other sample materials with 5% and 10% impurities could be estimated from the total number of the electrical tree pulses for these sample materials, respectively. As a result, it has been found that the effect of the treeing phenomenon decreases as the mixture ratio increases. Also, it is shown that the total number of the electrical tree pulses makes it possible to predict the effect of the treeing phenomenon without observing with an optical microscope.

        This study was conducted in order to explore general flora of the Gyounggi-do Province and to clarify the distribution of some specificated taxa of the Korea. Daebu-do Island, Mt. Taewha, Mt. Hwaya, Mt. Gumdan, Mt. Chilhyun and Mt. Chulma among eighth grade-area of the Degree of Green Naturality (DGN) within the boundary of the Gyounggi-do Province were visited to investigate local flora. The number of identified vascular plant species were as follow; Mt. Hwaya: 120 species (99 genera of 67 families), Mt. Teawha: 132 species (103 genera of 56 families), Daebu-do Island: 124 species (103 genera of 50 families), Mt. Chulma: 129 species (99 genera of 67 families), Mt. Gumdan: 121 species (96 genera of 52 families), Mt. Chilyun: 90 species (74 genera of 42 families). The endemic Clematis brachyura Maxim. was found to distribute Daeby-do. It seemed that plantation was occupying large area in forest of the Gyounggi-do Province. Forty two specificated taxa were identified and 3 taxa, 10 taxa, 5 taxa, and 24 taxa were sorted into forth grade, third grade, second grade, and first grade respectively. Mt. Taewha showed the highest record (16 taxa) in the number of specificated taxa, Mt. Hwaya was the next with 13 taxa. Mt, Chulma (12 taxa), Mt. Gumdan (11 taxa), Daebu-do Island (7 taxi), and Mt, Chylma (4 taxi) followed. Mt. Taewa and Mt. Whaya were found to be relatively higher in the score calculated front the specificated taxa distribution, while Daebu-do Island and Mt. Chilyun were lower, that difference was probably due in part to consequences of severe disturbance of human activities. With respect to the consequences of severe disturbance of human activities. With respect to the geographical proximity to the Gangwon Province, Mt. Hwaya showed higher similarity of the species composition to that of the Mt. Jumbong.

        Even though the Republic of Korea Army has adopted a mission oriented leadership concept of command and control, and applied the concept into its doctrines, a great number of commanders are still reluctant to implement the concept due to a few disadvantages. Therefore, this paper proposes the claim through a thorough analysis of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) , who adopted this concept earlier than ROK Army and is successfully carrying out its missions. The German Armed Forces seeks to complete the missions through energetic, creative, and proactive leadership of subordinate unit commanders, and this is ensured by respecting the subordinate units' independency and providing them with the liberty of actions. Using the German Armed Forces as a model case, this paper presents its concept of the mission oriented leadership in the introduction section, analyzed the nature and characteristics of the mission oriented leadership, and finally through a detailed depiction of its operational status, provides the reference data to the ROK Army for implementation. The German Armed Forces' mission oriented leadership was developed based on Germany's military tradition, but this concept is also crucially applicable for the development of the ROK Army, considering the future warfare situations in the KTO(Korean theater of operation), threats and intents of NK military, and terrain factors. ROK commanders and leaders need to make their utmost efforts to understand the concept, advantages and limitations of the mission oriented leadership, and also try to set an example to make an autonomous and creative mission execution system take root in the ROK Forces.

      • ^161, ^163Dy의 0.003eV~50keV의 중성자 포획 단면적 측정

        교토대학 원자로 연구소의 46MeV 전자선형가속기를 사용하여 중성자 TOF 방법으로, 에너지 영역 0.003eV∼50keV의 ^161, 163Dy sample의 중성자 포획 단면적을 측정하였다. 본 실험에서 사용된 Bi_4Ge_3O_12(BGO) 섬광 검출기는 sample의 핵반응에서 나오는 즉발 포획 감마선 측정에 사용하였다. 이 검출기는 중성자 선원으로부터 거리 12.7±0.02m 위치에 12개의 블록으로 되어 있으며, sample에 포획되는 중성자 flux의 절대치를 구하기 위해 Sm(n, γ) 및 ^10B(n, αγ) 반응을 이용하였다. ^161, 163Dy에 대한 포획 단면적 측정결과는 ENDF/B-VI 결과와 비교하였다. The neutron capture cross sections of ^161, 162Dy has been measured in the energy region from 0.003eV 50keV by using the neutron time-of-flight(TOF) promptγmethod with a 46MeV electron linear accelerator at the Research Reactor Institute, Kyoto University. An assemble of twelve pieces of BGO scintillation detectors, which was placed at a distance of 12.7±0.02mm from the neutron source, was employed as a total energy absorption detector for the prompt capture gamma-ray measurement, to obtain the absolute capture cross section value. The sample of ^161, 163Dy is a form of metallic plate. An enriched boron sample was employed to monitor the neutron flux/spectrum of the TOF beam using the standard reference cross section of the ^10B(n, αγ) reaction. Previous measurements and evaluated data in ENDF/B-VI was compared with the present results.

        Effects of the immobilization of heparin and rhPDGFBB to titanium surfaces for the enhancement of osteoblastic functions and anti-inflammation

        PURPOSE This study was to investigate the effects of recombinant human platelet-derived growth factor (rhPDGF-BB) and heparin to titanium surfaces for enhancement of osteoblastic functions and inhibition of inflammation activity. MATERIALS AND METHODS The anodized titanium discs, not coated with any material, were used as a control group. In heparinized- Ti group, dopamine was anchored to the surface of Ti substrates, and coated with heparin. In PDGF-Ti group, rhPDGF-BB was immobilized onto heparinized Ti surface. The surface morphologies were investigated by the scanning electron microscope in each group. The release kinetics of rhPDGF-BB were analyzed, and cytotoxicity tests for each group were conducted. The biocompatibilities were characterized by measuring cell proliferation, alkaline phosphatase activity, and calcium deposition using MG-63 cells. Statistical comparisons were carried out by one-way ANOVA tests. Differences were considered statistically significant at *P<.05 and **P<.001. RESULTS The combination of rhPDGF-BB and heparin stimulated alkaline phosphatase activity and OCN mRNA expression in osteoblastic cells (*P<.05 and **P<.001). MG-63 cells grown on PDGF-Ti had significantly higher amounts of calcium deposition than those grown on anodized Ti (**P<.001). Heparinized Ti was more anti-inflammatory compared to anodized Ti, when exposed to lipopolysaccharide using the transcript levels of TNF-α and IL-6 of proinflammatory cytokine (*P<.05 and **P<.001). CONCLUSION The result of this study demonstrated that the incorporation of rhPDGF-BB and heparin onto Ti surface enhanced osteoblastic functions and inhibited inflammation.

        지구화 시대 횡단적 연계성과 비교 정치철학의 의의

        This essay explores the idea of transversality in the globalizing world of multiculturalism. While the Enlightenment as the soul of Western philosophy privileges and valorizes the authority of reason for allegedly human progress and emancipation, European modernity overlooks, marginalizes, and disempowers the (reason"s) other whether it be the Orient, body, woman, or nature. To deconstruct this kind of thought, attitude, or practice, i.e., "Eurocentrism", the concept of transversality is introduced. Transversality unpacks the status quo and then goes beyond what is given, received, or established by constructing a new formation of concepts. It, in short, attempts to challenge the assumed transparency of truth as universal and overcomes the limits of universality as the Eurocentric canon of truth in Western modernity.
