This paper proposes the multi-level (ML) PO MPPT control of the photovoltaic (PV) system considering shadow influence. The output characteristics of the solar cell are a nonlinear and affected by a temperature, the solar radiation and shadow influence. Particularly, PV module integrated converter (MIC) system is very sensitive to the shadow influence because the capacity is very small. In order to increase an output and efficiency of the solar power generation, the maximum power point (MPP) control are necessary. Conventional constant voltage (CV) perturbation and observation (PO) and incremental conductance(IC) are the method finding MPP by the continued self-excitation vibration. The conventional MPPT control is unable to be performed when output is rapidly changing by shadow influence. To solve this problem, the new control algorithm of the MLPO in which the step value changes by output change is presented. The proposed algorithm compares the output error of the conventional control algorithm with the solar radiation, a temperature and shadow influence. In addition, the validity of this algorithm is proved through the response characteristics of the output error.
Maximum Torque Control of IM Drive using AIPI Controller

The maximum output torque developed by the machine is dependent on the allowable current rating and maximum voltage that the inverter can supply to the machine. Therefore, to use the inverter capacity fully, it is desirable to use the control scheme considering the voltage and current limit condition, which can yield the maximum torque per ampere over the entire speed range. This controller is controlled speed and current using artificial PI (AIPI) controller and estimation of speed using ANN. Also, this paper is proposed maximum torque control of induction motor using slip angular speed and current condition at widely speed range. The performance of the proposed induction motor drive with maximum torque control using AIPI controller is verified by analysis results at dynamic operation conditions.

This paper proposes novel MPPT method of photovoltaic system with temperature coefficient. Conventional CV(Constant Voltage) and PO(Perturbation and Observation) methods have the weak problem about the insolation and temperature change. Thus, in this paper, in order to improve this problem, the optimal voltage and current is determined and the MPPT control is performed. MPPT algorithm proposed in this paper analyze the performance about insolation and temperature change and proves the validity.

An induction motor operated with a conventional direct self controller(DSC) shows a sluggish response during startup and under changes of torque command. Fuzzy logic controller(FLC) is used in conjection with DSC to minimize these problems. AFLC chooses the switching states based on a set of fuzzy variables. Flux position, error in flux magnitude and error in torque are used as fuzzy state variables. Fuzzy rules are determinated by observing the vector diagram of flux and currents. This paper proposes hybrid fuzzy controller for direct torque control(DTC) of induction motor drives. This controller is controlled speed using hybrid fuzzy logic controller(HFLC) and estimation of speed using ANN. The performance of the proposed induction motor drive with HFLC controller and ANN is verified by analysis results at various operation conditions.

This paper proposes control system based on PLC for decrease power loss of solar tracking system. Tracking system is automatically tracked solar position. The power of this tracking system is fed by photovoltaic generation and it has problem efficiency decrease due to consume power of tracking system. Tracking system which controlled individually is brought power consumption due to continually feed power. Central control tracking system using PLC can be reduced power consumption more than individual tracking system because it controls a large number tracking device with one control system. Also, this paper uses two-mode tracking algorithm to improve tracking performance. The proposed algorithm is applied photovoltaic system and analyzed power and efficiency and then proved validity of this paper.

To report cases of metastasectomy for metastatic gynecologic malignancies, we reviewed the medical records of all patients who have undergone metastasectomy for metastatic gynecologic malignancies in Center for Uterine Cancer from June 2001 to October 2002. Six patients were identified with median age of 55 years (range 52-66 years). The metastatic sites and primary sites were as follows : 3 liver metastasis from ovary ; 1 abdominal wall metastasis from uterus (endometrial cancer), 1 brain metastasis from ovary, 1 lung metastasis from uterus (sarcoma). The median disease free interval was 48 months (range 10 months-13 years). There was no perioperative mortality. Postoperative morbidity was tolerable with 1 case of bile leakage. In three patients with hepatectomy, one patient was dead of disease after 15 months, one patient is alive with disease at 20 months of follow up, one patient have no evidence of recurrence at 7 months follow up. The patient with brai metastasis was dead due to lung metastsis after 9 months later postoperatively. Remaining two patients with abdominal wall and lung metastasis have no evidence of tumor recurrence at 4, 7 months follow up respectively. Metastasectomy for metastatic gynecologic malignancies can be performed safely and may help prologn survival in carefully selected patients.

This paper presents the new maximum power point tracking(MPPT) control of the photovoltaic(PV) module integrated converter(MIC) system considering the shadow influence. Conventional perturbation and observation(PO) and incremental conductance(IC) are the method finding MPP by the continued self-excitation vibration. The MPPT control is unable to be performed by rapid output change affected by the shadow. To solve this problem, the now control algorithm of the multi-level in which the step value changes by output change is presented. In case there are the solar radiation, a temperature and shadow influence, the presented algorithm treats and compares the conventional control algorithm and output error. In addition, the validity of the algorithm is proved through the output error response characteristics.
