Background: Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a progressive inflammatory liver disease of unknown etiology that is reported to be a consequence of aberrant autoreactivity. Several studies which reported the acute presentation of AIH have different clinical course and histologic features. In this study, we compared acute presentation of AIH and chronic presentation of AIH. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of patients with autoimmune hepatitis from January 2003 to June 2011 at Gachon University, Gil Hospital. A total of 29 patients were enrolled, 7 patients were diagnosed with acute presentation of AIH. Results: There was no difference between two group in age, gender, and score system of AIH. Patients with acute presentation had higher serum levels of total bilirubin, lower serum levels of albumin in clinical feature (p<0.05), and higher frequency of zone 3 necrosis in histologic feature. The cumulative incidental rate of the normalization of serum AST and ALT levels with prednisolone treatment was similar between patients with acute presentation and chronic presentation in clinical course. Conclusions: Higher AST, ALT and, bilirubin were clinical specific feature, and zone 3 necrosis is a histological characteristic of autoimmune hepatitis with acute presentation.

oil-wax-pigment 혼합계 표면에서 결정형 고형 wax 성분의 고체간 분리현상에 관한 연구

oil-wax-pigment가 혼합된계의 제품표면에 결정성 고형 wax성분의 분리현상에 대해 연구하였다. Bloom 생성방지에 대한 이전의 여러 연구자들의 방법과 달리 반응에 의해 생성되는 Bloom을 방지한다는 가정을 세우고 전자현미경으로 그 결과를 확인하였다. 또한 Gas Chromatography 분석결과 Ester의 생성이 확인되었다. 이상의 결과는 생성되는 Bloom을 Blocking Agent을 사용하여 방지하고자 하였던 이전의 식품업계 및 화장품 연구자들과는 다른 방법이며 Bloom 생성을 지연시키는 효과는 있을 뿐 완전하게 방지할 수는 없었으나 본 연구에서는 반응에 의해 Bloom의 생성 원인물질을 제거시키므로 장시간 보관 또는 사용시에도 Bloom의 생성이 없는 특성을 나타내었다.

Toluene-Cyclohexane 혼합물의 에멀젼 액막분리에 있어서 막의 안정성에 관한 연구

o/w/o(oil in water in oil)형 유화액막에 의한 2성분 탄화수소 혼합물인toluene-cyclohexane의 분리에 있어서 투과율, 막의 안정성과 분리계수에 미치는 영향을 계면활성제 농도 emulsion과 용매와의 교반속도 등을 변수로 하여 실험하였다. 계면활성제의 농도가 증가함에 따라 투과율은 증가하는데 0.5wt% 이상에서는 증가율이 둔화되었다. 막 파괴율은 0.1wt%에서 가장 낮게 나타났으며, 그 이상에서는 농도가 증가하면서 파괴율도 증가하였다. 또한 분리계수는 계면활성제의 농도가 0.5wt%에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 에멀젼 제조시 교반속도 변화에서는 투과율이나 막 파괴율에 큰 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 막 강화제의 농도가 증가함에 따라 투과율은 감소하였고, 에멀젼과 용매의 접촉시 교반속도가 증가할수록 막 파괴율도가 증가하였다.

도시 근로자의 스트레스 생활사건과 건강상태와의 관계연구

The purpose of this study was to find the relationship between stressful life events and health status. The samples used for this study were randomly sampled 136 questionnaires of workers who worked at eight banks located in Kwang-Ju from 28th July to 9th August. 1986. Two instruments used in this study were as follows; first, Holmes & Rahe(1967)'s S.R.R.S was translated and amended. Second, modification of Cornell Medical Index was used to measure health status. The results of this study were as follows; 1. The first hypothesis, stressful life events will depend on general characteristics(age sex, marital status, socio-economic status) showed the significance according to sex(t=.396, P<.05) and educational level(F=.639, p<.05), therefore it was partially accepted. 2. The second hypothesis, health status were changed in proportion to stressful life events, was not significant. 3. As the result of measuring the stressful life events the average value were ranged from 69.15 to 6.50.Personal & social problems (69.15), home & family problems(52.05) showed relatively high value and religious problems(6.50) showed relatively low value. 4. As the result of measuring the health status, average rate of appeal was 13.34. Measured the rate of physical and mental health problems of health status, the average of them were 8.32 and 5.02. 5. The relationship between socio-economic status and stressful life events was not significant.

우리는 미백제 개발 연구의 일환으로 한국산 지유로부터 새로운 procyanidin류를 분리하였고, thiolysis, desulfurization, methylation, tannase 처리 및 기기 분석에 의해 구조를 결정한 결과 flavan-3-ol 이량체에 gallate한 분자가 결합된 procyandin B-3 3-O-gallat였다. 이 화합물의 효소저해 효과를 관찰한 결과 tyrosinasesms 100μM에서 약 50%의 저해 효과가 있었다.

화장품은 인체에 직접 사용하는 것으로 국민 보건적인 측면에서도 매우 중요한 역할을 하며, 국민정서에도 많은 영향을 주는 패션감각 산업으로, 90년대에 들어서면서 소비가 급격히 증가하여 98년 현재 3조원에 이르고 있다. 앞으로 21세기에는 노인 인구의 증가로 노화에 대처하기 위해서 화장품의 그 역할도 점점 커지고 있다. 화장의 3대 큰 과제로는 미백효과-기미제거, 주름제거 및 노화방지로서 미래 사회의 활력소나 인간이 추구하고자 하는 기본 욕구를 충족시켜 줄 수 있는 가장 중요한 산업이 화장품 산업이다. 최근, 피부에 여러가지 효과를 줄 수 있는 새로운 차원의 다기능 화장품이 속속 개발되고 있다. 이러한 기능성 제품들은 소비자의 욕구 다양화 및 관련기술 등의 발달로 인하여, 과거의 일반적인 화장품 개념에서 미래에는 고기능, 다기능을 갖는 제품들이 더욱더 개발될 것이고, 또한 시장규모도 급격히 증가할 것이다.

An extremely rare case of primary melanoma involving only rectum is reported. This 59 year-old male patient was admitted to the hospital because of hematochezia, difficulty of defection. Endoscopic examination and radical excision showed polypoid lesion with ulceration which measured 6x6x3cm in 2cm from the anal verge. Histopathologic, H&E stain and electron microscopic examination(EM) were performed from endoscopic biopsies and excisional mass. We are reporting a case primary rectal melanoma with brief review of literature.

시계열 자료는 공휴일, 파업, 석유파동, 정책변화 등과 같은 외부사건에 영향을 받아서 급격한 변화를 나타낸다. 이러한 외부사건의 결과로 발생된 관측값들을 특이값이라 하며, 외부사건의 시기와 원인이 알려진 경우에는 이러한 외부사건을 개입이라 한다. 이러한 개입으로 인하여 자료를 모형화하기 어려운 경우가 많다. 그러므로 개입의 유형과 효과를 분석하여 모형화하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 개입을 가진 선형모형에 대해 연구하고 ARCH, GARCH 모형과 같은 비선형 모형과 비교하였다. 또한 예측에 있어서는 Tong(1990)에 의해 제안된 결합예측 방법과도 비교하였다. 실증분석에서는 개입이 있는 선형시계열 모형, 개입이 있는 비선형시계열 모형, 그리고 결합예측모형을 이용하여 RMSE를 기준으로 예측력을 비교하였다. Time series data are influenced by the external events such as holiday, strike, oil shock, and political change, so the external events cause a sudden change to the time series data. We regard the observation as outlier that occurred as a result of external events. In general, it is called intervention if we know the period and the reason of external events, and if makes an analyst difficult to establish a time series model. therefore, it is important that we analyze the styles and effects of intervention. In this paper, we have been studied about the linear time series model with invention and compared with nonlinear time series models such as ARCH, GARCH model and also we compared with the combination prediction method that Tong(1990) introduced. In the practical case study, we compared prediction power with RMSE among linear, nonlinear time series model with intervention and combination prediction method.

생약은 우리 조상들이 오래 전부터 사용된 것으로 이것을 화장품에 이용하여 새로운 차원의 천연 한방 화장품 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 그중 미백 효과를 입증하는 타이로시나아제 저해제로서 오매, 계피, 만형자, 하고초등이 미백제로서 그 기능이 우수하였고 보습효과는 당귀, 백지, 국약등이 효과가 좋았다. 피지분비 억제작용으로는 중약, 인삼, 진피등이, 육모와 양모작용으로서는 여정자, 백급, 백지, 하수조등이 효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다.
