        다기능 PGPR균주 Bacillus licheniformis K11이 생산하는 항진균성 Siderophore의 정제와 특성

        식물성장촉진 호르몬인 auxin, 식물병원성 진균의 생육을 억제하는 siderophore, 그리고 세포벽이 cellulose로 구성된 식물병원성 진균의 세포벽을 분해하는 cellulase를 동시에 생산하는 PGPR균주이자 생물방제균주로 선발된 Bacillus licheniformis K11이 생산하는 항진균성 siderophor의 특성을 확인한 결과 catechol type의 siderophore로 확인하였다. 또한 B. licheniformis K11의 siderophore 생산조건을 조사한 결과 nutrient broth(pH 9.0)를 $20^{\circ}C$에서 96 h 배양시 가장 많이 생산하였다. 그리고 탄소원과 질소원으로는 각각 trehalose와 $NH_4Cl$ 첨가시 siderophore를 가장 많이 생산하였다. 그리고 $siderophore_{K11}$의 정제는 Amberlite XAD-2과 sephadex LH-20 column chromatography를 통해 수행하였으며, HPLC를 통해 단일 물질임을 확인하였다. 정제된 $siderophore_{K11}$은 2, 3-dihydroxybenzoate의 유도체로 추정하며, P. capsici의 zoospores와 F. oxysporum의 conidia의 발아를 강하게 억제하였다. Previously, we isolated plant growth promoting rhizobacterium (PGPR) Bacillus licheniformis K11 which could produce auxin, cellulase and siderophore. The siderophore of B. licheniformis K11 $(siderophore_{K11})$ was determined to be a catechol type siderophore which is produced generally by Bacillus spp. B. licheniformis K11 could produce the siderophore most highly after 96 h of incubation under nutrient broth at $20^{\circ}C$ with initial pH 9.0. For the production of the $siderophore_{K11}$, trehalose and $NH_4Cl$ were the best carbon and nitrogen sources in Davis minimal medium, respectively. The $siderophore_{K11}$ was Produced in M9 medium (pH 9.0) after 4 days at $20^{\circ}C$, and purified from culture broth of B. licheniformis K11 by using Amberlite XAD-2, Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography, and reversed-phase HPLC. The $siderophore_{K11}$ had the biocontrol activity against spore germination of P. capsici and F. oxysporum on potato dextrose agar (PDA). The results indicate that the $siderophore_{K11}$ is an antifungal mechanism of B. licheniformis K11 against phytopathogenic fungi.

        하악골변위(下顎骨變位)가 저작근(咀嚼筋)의 수종성분(數種成分)의 변동(變動)에 미치는 영향(影響)에 관(關)한 실험적(實驗的) 연구(硏究)

        The influences of the mandibular displacement and valium administration on the muscular activity were observed by spectrophotometric analysis of glycogen, glucose, G-6-P, lactate, pyruvate, ATP, phosphocreatine ana protein. Experimental animals were divided into three groups; the first was the mandibular displacement group, the second was valium administered group and the third was the mandibular displacement and valium admministered group. In mandibular displacement group, the high inclined plane with a gap of 2.5mm to 3.0mm between the upper and lower incisors was created by setting the silver crowns on the lower incisors. By creating such a high inclined plane, the bite was opened and the mandible was dispalced posteriorly. In valium administered group, 5mg/kg body weight of valium was administered intraperitoneally every day until the animal was sacrificed. Results were as follows: I) The body weight of all experimental rats was decreased in the beginning of experimental periods. The body weight of the mandibular displacement group showed the similar increasing rate as the control group from 15 days of experimental period. 2) The superficial masseter muscles of the mandibular displacement group appeared to be decreased it's functional activity at 36hrs, 60hrs and 96hrs of experimental periods as revealed by the decrease of various metabolites studied in this experiment. From 96hrs of experimental periods, the contents of those metabolites tended to increase up to the control level. 3) The superficial masseter muscle of 2nd group showed the decreased value of all metabolites at until 60hrs and the values were recovered to almost the same as the control at 168hrs. 4) Glycogen and G-6-P contents induced by mandibular displacement plus valium administration, showed longer duration of the decreased value than 1st group. And the decrease of glucose and pyruvate contents induced by mandibular displacement at 36hrs and 60hrs of experimental periods was enhanced by valium administration. However, the contents of lactate in 3rd group were decreased continuously until the end of experiment.

        부분 관골 절제술 및 상악골 성형술을 이용한 상악동 확장증의 수술적 교정

        Pneumosinus dilatans is defined as an abnormal enlargement of paranasal sinuses containing only air. The frontal sinus is most commonly affected, but the maxillary sinus is rare. The surgical aims of pneumosinus dilatans are to re-establish a permanent pressure equilibrium in the involved sinus and to correct possible facial deformity. Generally, pneumosinus dilatans of maxillay sinus is corrected by ostectomy of anterior wall of maxillary sinus and repositioning of removed bony fragment. Despite correction of anterior facial contour asymmetry, asymmetry of facial width remains to be a problem. Therefore, the authors present a technique for correction of pneumosinus dilatans of maxillary sinus by segmental zygoma ostectomy and maxilloplasty. A 16-year-old girl with a slowly enlarging mass in the right side of the face was referred to our department. No history of sinusitis, nasal obstruction or facial trauma were noted. CT scan presented an abnormal enlargement of right maxillary sinus. Surgery was delayed for 2 years until maturation of facial bone. Surgical correction was accomplished through circumferential osteotomy with repositioning of maxillary segment and segmental zygoma ostectomy. Postoperatively, the patient's facial contour was improved with equal malar height and width and no significant complication was noted.

        생물방제능과 식물성장촉진능을 동시에 가지는 Bacillus licheniformis K11의 non-siderophore 항진균 물질 및 cellulase의 생산조건 확인

        Bacillus lichemiformis Kll, a plant growth promoting rhizobacterium was reported as a producer of auxin, siderophore, as well as antifungal cellulase under some culture conditions. In vitro test, B. licheniformis Kll represented excellent antagonistic ability against Fusarium oxyspoum (KACC 40037), and showed broad spectrum against other phytopathogenic fungi. B. licheniformis Kll had cellulolytic activity toward not only carboxymethyl-cellulose (CMC) but also insoluble cellulose, such as fungal cell wall cellulose, filter paper (Whatman No. 1), and Avicel. In addition, we confirmed antifungal substance production by butanol-extract methods. The strain produced optimally the antifungal substance when it was cultivated at pH 9.0, 30${\circ}$C for 4 days on nutrient medium. The biological control mechanisms of B. lichemiformis Kll were caused by antifungal substance, cellulase and siderophore against phytopathogenic fungi. Auxin, siderophore, 그리고 cellulase를 동시에 생산하는 생물방제균주 B. licheniformis Kll을 식물병원성진균을 대상으로 균사 성장억제능을 확인결과 6종의 식물병원성 진균에서 균사체 성장억제능을 확인하였으며, 그 중에서 토마토 시들음병을 유발하는 F. oxysporum(KACC 40037)에 가장 강력한 억제능을 나타내었다. 그리고 본 균주가 생산하는 항진균성 siderophore이외에 세포벽이 cellulose로 구성된 P. capsici의 cell wall을 분해하는 cellulase를 생산하는 것을 추가적으로 확인하였다. 뿐만아니라 B. licheniformis Kll은 nutrient broth(pH 8.0), $30{\circ}C$에서 96시간 배양시 토마토 시들음병에 대한 항진균 활성이 가장 높았고, 이는 cellulase의 활성과 sideropore의 최대 생산조건과는 상이하였다. 또한 탄소원과 질소원으로 starch와 urea를 각각 첨가시 항진균성 활성이 가장 높았고, 이 역시는 cellulase의 활성과 항진균성 siderophore의 최대 생산조건과 일치하지 않았다. 그리하여 본균주 B. licheniformis Kll은 식물성장촉진 물질은 auxin, 항진균성 siderophore와 cellulase를 생산함과 동시에 또 다른 강력한 항진균성 물질을 생산하는 것을 추가로 확인하였다.

        한국인(韓國人) 성인(成人) 치열궁(齒列弓)의 형태학적(形態學的) 연구(硏究)

        The measurements on the various items, such as arch form, kinds of anterior dental arch, degree of curvature in anterior dental arches, relationship between direction of the disto-incisal edge of the canine and first premolar, and kinds of posterior dental arch in upper dental arches were studied on 311 cases of the Korean adults aged from 20 to 30years. The results were as follows. 1. The commonest type of the upper dental arches was U-type (53.7%), the remaining were O-type (25.4%) and V-type (20.0%). 2. A slight curvature type (71.87%) prevailed against angulated curvature type in upper anterior dental arches. 3. The degree of curvature from $121^{\circ}$ to $160^{\circ}$ in anterior dental arches was common, and the degree of curve of 1-type with on curvature was smaller than 4, 5 type with two curvature. 4. The direction of the disto-incisal edge of canine went between the tip of the buccal cusp and the lingual incline of the buccal cusp of the first premolar in most dental arches and went lingual incline of the buccal cusp of the first premolar in U-type, from buccal cusp to lingual cusp of the first premolar in O-type and were distributed from buccal edge to central groove of the first premolar in V-type. 5. A posterior dental arch with almost straight curvature was common in 60.87%, and 4-type with a half rounded curve from first premolar to second molar was next.

        항차 데이터 기반 간이 연료 소모량 추정 및 최적 경유 항구 추천 시스템 개발

        최근, 유럽 연합 가입국을 기항지로 항해하는 선박을 대상으로 배출 가스를 측정한 후, 그 결과를 보고하고 검증받는 MRV 규제의 시행을 앞두고 있다. 이러한 배출 가스량을 경험적으로 산정해보기 위하여 본 논문에서는 간이 연료 소모량 추정 및 최적 경유 항구 추천 시스템을 개발하기 위한 내용을 다룬다. 이를 위해 10여 년간 축적된 선박의 항차 데이터를 기반으로 각 항구별 연료 소모량, 거리, 소요 시간을 분석하여, 이를 기반으로 연료 소모량을 추정하는 모듈을 개발하였다. 또한 선박의 출발지와 목적지 사이의 최적 경유 항구를 추천하기 위한 기능을 비롯하여 실제 운항 경로 표시 기능, 실제 운항 경로와 최적 경로와의 비교 기능, 사용자 지정 경유 항구 선택 기능을 제공하기 위한 모듈을 구현하였다. 개발한 시스템은 선박의 운항 계획 등을 위한 참고 지표로 활용이 가능할 것으로 기대되며, 축적된 데이터를 기반으로 학습하여 미래 데이터를 예측하기 위한 선행 연구로서 의미가 있을 것으로 판단된다. Recently, The MRV (monitoring, reporting and verification) regulation, which measures, reports and verifies the emission gas of vessel to head for member countries of Europe Union (EU), is being implemented. As part this reason, we develop a system that estimates simple fuel consumption and recommends optimized stop-over ports of vessel, to calculate amount of carbon emission. To do this, we analyze fuel, distance and time consumption between port and the other port based on stored voyage data for over 10 years of real-ship, and implement a simple fuel consumption estimation module using analyzed result. Also, we design and implement the optimized route recommendation algorithm, existing navigation route display function including comparison with the optimized routes and user custom route plan function. Therefore, we expect the developed system is helpful when makes a navigation route and so on by reference indexes and we anticipate the system to have a sense for future research which learns and predicts for accuracy result.

        케이블 공통모드 전류에 의해 유기된 도체판 위 슬롯의 전자기장 방사 해석 모델

        본 논문에서는 도체판 위 슬롯을 통한 케이블 공통모드 전류의 전자기장 방사를 예측할 수 있는 해석적인 모델을제안하였다. 케이블의 공통모드 전류에 의해 슬롯에 유기된 등가 자기쌍극자 모멘트를 계산하였고, 이를 통해 도체판반대편으로 방사하는 전자기장을 슬롯의 공진주파수를 기준으로 저주파수와 고주파수 대역에서 각각 해석적인 해로 유도하였다. 제안한 방사 전자기장의 해석적인 해는 수치해석 결과에 의해 검증되었으며, 수 GHz 대역까지 잘 일치함을확인하였다.

        우측 관골체부에 발생한 골연골종의 치험례

        Purpose: An osteochondroma, also known as osteocartilaginous exostosis, is a common bone tumor, but rarely occurs in the facial bone, especially in the zygoma body. Because most of the craniofacial bones develop from intramembranous ossification, osteochondromas are relatively infrequent in mesenchymal bones of the head and neck. The osteochondroma of the facial bone is a slow growing, painless mass, and causes facial asymmetry. In spine and other extremities, it rarely changes malignant, but until now, there is no evidence of malignant change in facial bone. We herein describe a rare case of osteochondroma occurring on zygoma body with review of the literature. Methods: A 50-year-old male has painless, slowly growing mass on a right cheek for several years. For a diagnosis, CT and whole body bone scan were done and a diagnosis, osteochondroma was made. The tumor was removed with osteotome under general anesthesia. Results: Radiography showed a well-defined calcified mass attached to the anterior aspect of the right zygoma body. And pathologic exam showed degenerative chondocyte and cancellous bone. As a result, this appearance is that of an osteochondroma. Conclusion: An osteochondroma is a common bone tumor, but rarely occurs in the facial bone. To the authors knowldege, this is the first case of osteochondroma occuring on zygoma in korea, body. For this case, we reviewed literature related to this topic.
