This paper describes the convergence of the energy technology and information and communication technology (ICT), which helps to consume less energy effectively. While a lot of researches have done against the increase of world energy usage, most of them focus on the efficiency of energy supply, transfer, and consumption equipment. Applying the ICT to decrease energy usage could help to find energy saving factors in the new field that has not been considered as a valuable one before. The big data service with the energy technology and ICT convergence enables correlation analyses of large sets of energy and environmental data. Finding a data tendency with a big data service helps to develop energy saving policies. Furthermore, it could make a further step to develop a new business model. This paper introduces the real cases of the company and project that provides a big data service with the ICT convergence. 본고에서는 에너지 사용량 절감 및 효과적인 에너지 사용을 위한 에너지 기술과 정보통신기술(ICT)의 융합에 대해 서술한다. 전 세계적인 에너지 사용량 증가 추세에 대응하기 위하여 많은 연구가 진행되어왔으나, 이들 중 많은 부분은 에너지 생산, 소비, 전달 단계에서 사용하는 장비 자체의 효율 증가를 목표로 하고 있다. 에너지 절감을 위한 ICT 적용은 획일화된 연구 방향에서 벗어나 기존에 고려 대상이 아니던 분야에서의 에너지 절감을 기대할 수 있다. 에너지 기술과 ICT의 융합을 통한 빅데이터 서비스 제공은 대량의 에너지 및 환경 데이터 연계 분석을 가능하게 한다. 빅데이터 분석을 통해 연관성이 불분명하던 데이터 간의 경향성을 찾아내는 것은 새로운 에너지 절감 방안 모색에 도움이 되며, 나아가 새로운 비즈니스 모델 개발로 이어질 수 있다. 본고는 에너지 기술과 ICT의 융합을 통해 빅데이터 서비스를 제공하는 실제 기업 및 프로젝트 사례들을 소개하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

In this paper, li-ion battery capacity fade model was simulated. SEI film formation was chosen for the capacity fade mechanism due to possibility and simplicity of modeling. Newman"s general battery model was developed to simulate interior changes of the battery. Half C-rate discharging and charging with constant voltage charging were tested. More than 100 cycles were tested with the temperature change effect. Result show that the capacity of a battery decreases with the operating time. Increasing temperature also effects a lot to the capacity fade.
설비 작동 정보 데이터베이스에 기반한 건물 에너지 커미셔닝 시스템 디자인

커미셔닝은 건물의 에너지 사용량을 줄이기 위한 일련의 과정을 의미한다. 본 논문에서는 건물 에너지 관리를 수행하기 위한 커미셔닝 시스템의 디자인에 대해 서술한다. 건물 내에 존재하는 각 설비에 센서를 설치하는 것에 더하여 센서의 정보를 저장하기 위한 설비 작동 정보 데이터베이스가 구축되어야 한다. 설비 작동 정보 데이터베이스 및 기상 정보 데이터베이스 등을 활용하여 커미셔닝 시스템은 전체 건물의 에너지 사용 환경을 분석한다. 커미셔닝 시스템 엔진의 분석 결과는 건물 관리자에게 제공되어 더 나은 건물 에너지 관리를 가능케 한다.
Rennet-induced gels and their mechanical properties

Casein micelles are the basic building block of rennet-induced gels. The stiffness of these gels is increased with reaction time. This is probably due to the continuous participation of activated casein micelles into growing network. Dual binding model of casein micelles, which explains assembly of casein and colloidal calcium phosphate, can provides fairly reasonable explanation for the changes in mechanical properties of rennet-induced gels made from different milk pHs and varying colloidal calcium phosphates. The changes in stiffness of these gels would be used for controlling textural properties of cheeses.

In this paper, effects of battery thermal management system was simulated. As increasing needs of HEV and EV, keeping battery temperature to their optimum condition is now one of the most important topics in battery research area. Battery thermal management system helps to keep optimum temperature condition by controlling cooling and heating system. However, it needs electrical power to work, which directly decreases SOC of the battery. Thus, battery thermal management system has both positive and negative effect to the HEV and the EV. To show these effects, battery thermal management system model was made and simulated. Modeling and simulation were done by using Autonomie<SUP>®</SUP> and MATLAB<SUP>®</SUP>.

In this paper, battery model based on voltage loss is simulated. There are three main energy (voltage) losses during battery working; ohmic loss, electrochemical loss, mass transport loss. Mass transport loss is ignored due to it only arises when battery SOC is nearly zero. This paper focused energy loss due to electrochemical characteristics of the battery. Butler-Volmer equation and Randles circuit are introduced to modeling electrochemical energy loss. Results show that both methods work well for the simple cell level simulation.
Theoretical molecular aspects of colloidal calcium phosphate in bovine milk

A simplified model for the colloidal calcium phosphate (CCP) nanocluster was developed from an active role of phosphate in the precipitation of casein (CN)/Ca mixtures and the composition of casein micelles (CM). The possible shape of the CCP nanocluster was selected as a tetrahedron, and we estimated that 4 CN molecules were involved in crosslinking a single CCP nanocluster. Similar values were obtained for the number of CN molecules involved in stabilizing the nanocluster when the number of CNs attached onto each nanocluster surface was deduced from the composition of CM. If one phosphoserine cluster consisted of 3 phosphoserine residues, the theoretical molecular weight and volume for the nanocluster were estimated to be 4,898 g/mol and 2.88 nm3, respectively. It was also shown that the position of Ca present in our model were reasonably located to accommodate the serine phosphate in CN molecule.
