Nucleotide and protein researches on anaerobic fungi during four decades
( Jongsoo Chang ),( Hyunjin Park ) 한국축산학회(구 한국동물자원과학회) 2020 한국축산학회지 Vol.62 No.2
Anaerobic fungi habitat in the gastrointestinal tract of foregut fermenters or hindgut fermenters and degrade fibrous plant biomass through the hydrolysis reactions with a wide variety of cellulolytic enzymes and physical penetration through fiber matrix with their rhizoids. To date, seventeen genera have been described in family Neocallimasticaceae, class Neocallimastigomycetes, phylum Neocallimastigomycota and one genus has been described in phylum Neocallimastigomycota. In National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) database (DB), 23,830 nucleotide sequences and 59,512 protein sequences have been deposited and most of them were originated from Piromyces, Neocallimastix and Anaeromyces. Most of protein sequences (44,025) were acquired with PacBio next generation sequencing system. The whole genome sequences of Anaeromyces robustus, Neocallimastix californiae, Pecoramyces ruminantium, Piromyces finnis and Piromyces sp. E2 are available in Joint Genome Institute (JGI) database. According to the results of protein prediction, average Isoelectric points (pIs) were ranged from 5.88 (Anaeromyces) to 6.57 (Piromyces) and average molecular weights were ranged from 38.7 kDa (Orpinomyces) to 56.6 kDa (Piromyces). In Carbohydrate- Active enZYmes (CAZY) database, glycoside hydrolases (36), carbohydrate binding module (11), carbohydrate esterases (8), glycosyltransferase (5) and polysaccharide lyases (3) from anaerobic fungi were registered. During four decades, 1,031 research articles about anaerobic fungi were published and 444 and 719 articles were available in PubMed (PM) and PubMed Central (PMC) DB.
Hybrid Transparent Electrodes of Silver Nanowires and Carbon Nanotubes by Plasmonic Welding
Jongsoo Lee(이종수),Ju Yeon Woo,Ju Tae Kim,Byung Yang Lee,Chang-Soo Han 대한기계학회 2014 대한기계학회 춘추학술대회 Vol.2014 No.11
We report highly transparent and flexible AgNW/SWCNT hybrid networks on PET substrates combined with plasmonic welding for securing ultrahigh stability in mechanical and electrical properties under severe welding at the junction of AgNWs and leads strong adhesion between AgNW and SWCNT as well as between hybrid structure and substrate. The initial sheet resistance of plasmon treated AgNW/SWCNT hybrid film was 26Ω sq-1, with >90% optical transmittance over the wavelength range 400-2700 nm. Following 200 cycles of convex/ concave bending with a bending radius of 5 mm, the sheet resistance changed from 26 to 29 Ω sq-1. This hybrid structure combined with the plasmonic welding process provided excellent stability, low resistance, and high transparency, and is suitable for highly flexible electronics applications, including touch panels, solar cells, and OLEDs.

The paper deals with strength design if a riser support installed on floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel under various loading conditions - operation, extreme, damaged, one line failure case (OLFC) and installation. The design problem is formulated such that thickness sizing variables are determined by minimizing the weight of a riser support structure subject to stresses constraints. The initial design model is generated based on an actual FPSO riser support specification. The finite element analysis (FEA) is conducted using MSC/NASTRAN, and optimal. solutions are obtained via moving least squares method (MLSM) in the context of response surface based approximate optimization. For the meta-modeling of inequality constraint junctions if stresses, a constraint-feasible moving least squares method (CF-MLSM) is used in the present study. The method if CF-MLSM; compared to a conventional MLSM; has been shown to ensure the constraint feasibility in a case where the approximate optimization process is employed. The optimization results present improved design performances under various riser operating conditions.
A 8-GHz SiGe HBT VCO Design on a Low Resistive Silicon Substrate Using GSML
Jongsoo Lee,Young-Gi Kim,Eun-Jin Lee,Chang-Woo Kim,Roblin, P. IEEE 2007 IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON CIRCUITS AND SYSTEMS PART 1 R Vol.54 No.10

A practical layout method called ground shield microstrip lines (GSML) is investigated for the reliable design of high frequency interconnection lines on a low resistive silicon substrate. GSML facilitates the prediction of parasitic networks at the expense of introducing negligible loss. The microwave performance of a GSML line structure is compared to that of a conventional metal line on the same standard silicon substrate (20 Omegamiddotcm). Then, the GSML structure is applied to an 8-GHz SiGe heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) circuit. The GSML method replaces the post layout simulation and reduces iteration time, increasing design efficiency. A fully integrated differential tuning SiGe HBT 8-GHz VCO is designed and tested. The measured phase noise for the VCO is dBc/Hz at 1-MHz offset with an output power of dBm.
