        A Study on Influence of Physical Activity according to Exercise Attitude of Adolescents

        청소년의 신체 현황을 조사하여 청소년의 운동단련 태도와 체력활동 관계를 연구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 운동단련 태도가 청소년의 체력활동에 미치는 영향을 연구하고, 관련 체력활동 이론의 적용을 검증한다. SPSS 22.0 통계 소프트웨어로 데이터에 대한 기술 통계, 다변량 분석 그리고 회귀 분석을 실시한다. 계획 행동량표[TPB 태도량표(Theory of planned behavior Attitude Scale)], 체력활동 등급량표[PARS-3 (Physical Activity Rating Scale)]로 청소년들을 대상으로 중국 광시(Guangxi, 廣西)좡족자치구(Zhuang Autonomous Region, 壯族自治區) 난닝시(Nanning City, 南寧市)의 한 초등학교 5학년과 6학년 84명을 조사했다. 그 결과 운동단련 태도가 적극적인 청소년은 중간 정도 및 소극적인 운동단련 태도를 갖는 청소년(F=21.36, p<.05)보다 체력활동이 매우 높으며, 남성 청소년 체력활동은 여성(F=4.17, p<.05)보다 더 높았다, 운동단련 태도가 적극적인 남성 청소년(M=68.67, SE=3.32)이 여성 청소년(M=43.08, SE=3.77) 보다 높았다. 체력활동 수준은 적극적인 운동단련 태도와 직결되었다(R=.564, p<.05). 청소년의 운동단련 태도는 일반적으로 적극적이다. 남성 청소년의 운동단련 태도와 체력활동 수준이 여성보다 높았다. 청소년들의 적극적인 운동단련 태도는 체력활동 수준을 개선하는 데 직접적인 개입되는 결과를 가졌다. 청소년의 심신 발달이 중요한 시기에 있는 청소년의 적극적인 운동태도는 운동과 습관을 길러 건강한 성장 발육을 촉진하는 데 도움이 될 것이다. 본 연구를 통해 청소년 체력활동 지도 권고를 위한 이론적 근거를 일부 마련하였다. The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between adolescents exercise attitude and physical activity by investigating their physical status. To explore the influence of exercise attitude on adolescents physical activity, and further verify the applicability of relevant theoretical models of physical activity. SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used for descriptive statistics, multivariate analysis of variance and regression analysis. A total of 84 students in grade 5 and grade 6 of a primary school in Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China were investigated by using Theory of planned behavior (TPB Attitude Scale) and Physical Activity Rating Scale (PARS-3). Adolescents with positive exercise attitude were significantly higher in physical activity than those with neutral and negative exercise attitude (F=21.36, p<.05), and Male adolescents physical activity were more significantly higher than female adolescents (F=4.17, p<.05). Male adolescents (M=68.67, SE=3.32) with a positive exercise attitude were higher than female adolescents (M=43.08, SE=3.77). The level of physical activity was positively correlated with the exercise attitude (R=.564, p<.05). Adolescents exercise attitude is generally positive. Male adolescents exercise attitude and physical activity level are higher than female. Adolescents positive exercise attitude had directly positive effect on improving physical activity level. Adolescents are in an important period of physical and mental development. A positive exercise attitude among adolescents will contribute to participation in physical activity and the development of exercise habits, and promote healthy growth and development of adolescents. It also provides theoretical basis for relevant departments to make suggestions on adolescents sports guidance.

        Magnetic Shielding Analysis for Arrayed Eddy Current Testing

        Arrayed eddy current testing (AECT) has been widely applied in the field of crack detection, displacement measurement and many other fields due to its non-destructive and high efficiency. But the coupling interference of AECT exists objectively and leads to the detection error directly. In this paper, a magnetic shielding layer is proposed to reduce the coupling interference. The relationships between electromagnetic parameters of magnetic shielding material and coupled magnetic field are discussed theoretically. Furthermore, the simulation and experiments are carried out, the results are consistent. It shows that the application of magnetic shielding layer in AECT can reduce the mutual inductance of probe coils and increase the output voltage. Additionally, the most important factor to select material of magnetic shielding layer is the conductivity. Thus, the magnetic shielding layer with large conductivity will be suitable for AECT to promote the testing performance.

      • Model-Based Design Methodology for Digital Up and Down Conversion of Software Defined Radio

        This paper proposes an efficient implementation of digital up and down conversion for Software Defined Radio (SDR) using Model-Based Design (MBD). In particular, a novel flow for designing digital up and down conversion is detailed. Using MBD, a system model is at the center of the development process, from requirement development, through design, implementation, and testing. Using MBD, code can be automatically generated for system and create test benches for system verification, which is saving time and avoiding the introduction of manually coded errors. Design example shows that the proposed method can greatly reduce the complexity of digital up and down conversion while providing the efficient and reliability of design flow.

      • Model-Based Design Methodology for Sampling Rate Converter

        The design of high-speed sampling rate converter in multi-rate system is a very complicated problem. The traditional development flow is not simply low efficiency, and but also is difficult to implementation. This paper presents a development flow by model-based design to simplify the design process, to improve work efficiency. Sampling rate converter is designed by a hybrid scheme using polyphase filter and Farrow filter structure. Through the development flow of model-based design, circuit modeling is very easy to do, and the RTL code and test code are automatically generated. The simulation results show that this method can greatly reduce the system consumption and promote the performance of the system.

        Human Action Recognition Bases on Local Action Attributes

        Human action recognition received many interest in the computer vision community. Most of the existing methods focus on either construct robust descriptor from the temporal domain, or computational method to exploit the discriminative power of the descriptor. In this paper we explore the idea of using local action attributes to form an action descriptor, where an action is no longer characterized with the motion changes in the temporal domain but the local semantic description of the action. We propose an novel framework where introduces local action attributes to represent an action for the final human action categorization. The local action attributes are defined for each body part which are independent from the global action. The resulting attribute descriptor is used to jointly model human action to achieve robust performance. In addition, we conduct some study on the impact of using body local and global low-level feature for the aforementioned attributes. Experiments on the KTH dataset and the MV-TJU dataset show that our local action attribute based descriptor improve action recognition performance.

      • Measurement Matrix Construction Algorithm for Compressed Sensing based on QC-LDPC Matrix

        The measurement matrix of compressed sensing has a significant impact for sampling and reconstruction algorithm of the original signal. At present, the majority of the measurement matrix is randomly constructed, and it is difficulty for hardware implementation in the practical applications. In this paper, we use the sparse characteristic of parity- check matrix of LDPC codes, construct measurement matrix based on QC-LDPC (Quasi-cyclic low-density parity-check) matrix, which is a structural and sparse deterministic measurement matrix. The simulation results show that, the measurement matrix is proposed in this paper not only can obtain a better reconstructed image quality, but also it can reduce the complexity of hardware implementation for quasi-cyclic.

        Enhancing the Magnetic Plasmon Resonance of Three-Dimensional Optical Metamaterials via Strong Coupling for High-Sensitivity Sensing

        <P>We report an effective method to enhance and modify the magnetic plasmon (MP) resonance in three-dimensional (3D) optical metamaterials consisting of periodic arrays of silver vertical split-ring resonators (VSRRs) for high-sensitivity sensing. By positioning the 3D metamaterials above a thick silver film separated by a silica dielectric spacer layer, the strong coupling between the MP resonance in the VSRRs and the surface plasmons polaritons (SPPs) propagating on the silver film can be realized and gives rise to an ultra-narrowband hybrid MP mode with a huge enhancement of magnetic fields. For the coupling to happen, the magnetic field direction of the SPPs should be parallel to the magnetic moment induced in the VSRRs. More importantly, because the ultra-narrowband hybrid MP mode is extremely sensitive to the surrounding media, the sensitivity and the figure of merit (FOM) of the 3D metamaterials can reach as high as 700 nm/RIU and 170, respectively, suggesting that the proposed 3D metamaterials hold potential applications in label-free biomedical sensing.</P>

        Optical Magnetic Field Enhancement by Strong Coupling in Metamaterials

        <P>We study theoretically the interaction effects between optical waveguide modes and magnetic resonances in metamaterials, consisting of periodic arrays of paired metallic nanodisks lying on a dielectric waveguide substrate. The plasmon near-field coupling in individual metallic nanodisk pairs results into magnetic resonances. The periodic arrangement of the paired metallic nanodisks can excite optical waveguide modes propagating in the adjacent dielectric waveguide. When optical waveguide modes are close to magnetic resonances by varying the array period, they interact to form two hybridized modes. A coupling model of two oscillators is also proposed to predict well the positions of the hybridized modes. In the strong interaction regime, the hybridized modes have an obvious anticrossing, and thus exhibit an interesting phenomenon of Rabi splitting. Furthermore, the magnetic fields within metallic nanodisk pairs exhibit a huge enhancement, which could find promising potential applications in magnetic nonlinearity and sensors.</P>

      • Electromagnetic Field Exposure and Male Breast Cancer Risk: A Meta-analysis of 18 Studies

        Background: The possibility that electromagnetic fields (EMF) exposure may increase male breast cancer risk has been discussed for a long time. However, arguments have been presented that studies limited by poor quality could have led to statistically significant results by chance or bias. Moreover, data fo the last 10 years have not been systematically summarized. Methods and Results: To confirm any possible association, a meta-analysis was performed by a systematic search strategy. Totals of 7 case-control and 11 cohort studies was identified and pooled ORs with 95% CIs were used as the principal outcome measures. Data from these studies were extracted with a standard meta-analysis procedure and grouped in relation to study design, cut-off point, exposure assessment method, adjustment and exposure model. A statistical significant increased risk of male breast cancer with EMF exposure was defined (pooled ORs = 1.32, 95% CI = 1.14-1.52, P < 0.001), and subgroup analyses also showed similar results. Conclusions: This meta-analysis suggests that EMF exposure may be associated with the increase risk of male breast cancer despite the arguments raised.
