        동진강 수계 농업용수 수질평가

        동진강 수계의 수질현황을 파악하기 1994∼1998년 까지 4∼9월에 월 1회에 걸쳐 5개년간 조사한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 월별로는 빗물에 의한 희석효과로 7, 8월에 수질이 가장 양호하였으며, 4월이 다소 불량하였으나 수도생육 피해 한계농도에는 미치지 못하는 수준이었다. 지점별 수질현황은 생활하수 유입지인 정읍천과 지천의 폭이 좁은 원평천의 무기성분 함량이 높았으며 동진천 상류지역에서 가장 양호하였다. 연도별 현황은 '94년 이후 '95년까지는 수질이 악화되는 경향을 보였으나 '95년 이후로는 각 성분 함량이 낮았지는 등 점점 양호해지고 있으며 COD함량으로 볼 때 특히, 정읍천의 수질이 개선되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 양이온과 음이온의 총당량온 4월에 가장 높았고 7, 8월에 가장 낮았으며 양이온/음이온의 당량비는 5월에 높았고 7월이 가장 낮았으며 지점에 따라서는 총당량은 정읍천, 원평천, 동진천 하류, 중류, 상류의 순위였으며 양이온/음이온 총당량 비율은 원평천이 상대적으로 작은 수치를 보였지만 지역간 큰 차이는 보이지 않았다. 수질 중 각 성분 상호간의 상관관계를 보면, 대개의 성분 상호간에 유의성이 높게 나타났으나, NO₄^--N는 대개의 성분과 유의성이 없었고, PO₄^(3-)-P도 COD, NH₄^+-N, NO₃^--N, SO₄^(2-)과는 유의성을 보이지 않았다. This study was conducted to monitor the irrigation water qualities along Dong-Jin river watershed. The water quality was surveyed at 6 sites from April to september during 1994∼1998. And the results were as follows : In July and August, water quality was better than that of any other months due to dilution with rainwater. Whereas, it became worse in April but it involved lower contents than limitted contents affected to the crop damage. Content of inorganic components was higher at Jeong-up and Won-pyeong stream. The reason for it that Jeong-up stream was deteriorated with sewage water from Jeong-up city, and Won-pyeong stream has narrow width. Water quality in upstream of Dong-Jin river, was evaluated best conditions in all sampling sites. For investigated period, water quality got worse from 1994 to 1995 but it was getting better to 1998 after 1995, especially at Jeong-up stream. The total equivalent of cation and anion was the highest at April through all months and at Jeong-up stream in sampling sites. Equivalent ratio of cation to anions(∑C/∑A) was higher at May than any other months and lower at Won-pyeong streams than any other sites. The value of most inorganic components was highly correlated with those of other components. But the value of NO₃^--N was not correlated with that of most components, and PO₄^(3-)-P was not correlated with COD, NH₄^+-N, NO₃^--N, SO₄^(2-_.

      • 항치매성 acetylcholineaterase 함유 검은 비늘버섯 추출물의 PC12 신경세포사 저해 효과

        본 연구에서는 부분 정제된 acetylcholinesterase 저해물질을 함유한 검은비늘버섯 추출물의 신경세포 PC12에 대한 세포독성을 조사하고 PC12 신경세포 저해효과를 조사하였다. 검은 비늘버섯 추출물은 세포 생존에 영향을 미치지 않았고 무처리군의 85.6%에 비해 19.3%로 세포사 저해효과가 우수하였다. Dementia disease has been increased because of the significant increase in life expectancy over sixty-five years of age in Korea. This studies were carried out to develop new anti-dementia compounds such as acetylcholinesterase(AChE) inhibitor from edible mushrooms.. AChE inhibitor from water extract of finally selected Pholiota adiposa were partially purified by Sephadex G-50 gel permeation chromatography and RP-HPLC. The partial purified acetylcholinesterase inhibitor-containing Pholiota adiposa extracts showed high cell viability and also showed apoptotic inhibitory effects against PC12 neuron-like cells.

      • 개정 로마자 표기법의 문제점과 그 개선방안

        The Ministry of Education(MOE) revised the romanization system for korean and publicized the new system in January, 1984. According to the authorities concerned, the revision was carried out to settle the present chaotic state of korean romanization and accomplish its unification. However it is quite dubious whether the revised system could achieve such a purpose, for it is nearly the same as the so-called MR system which has been criticized to have no less shortcomings than the previous MOE system. The purpose of this paper is to appraise the revised system and make some suggestions for its betterment. In my opinion the revised system has more disadvantages over the previous system. The first and foremost fault results from its indiscriminate introduction of diacritic marks such as breve and apostrophe. Since they are quite unfamiliar to the general public, we cannot expect any effect of their use. And that there is even the possibility of misleading because the convention for them is quite different from that of IPA or general phonetics. Moreover they cause many inconveniences and difficulties in typing and writing. Owing to the defects just mentioned, breve and apostrophe are allowed to be omitted in the revised system. Here arises another problem:impossibility of distinguishing the phonemes. As breve is omitted,「ㅓ」and 「ㅡ」cannot be distinguished from「ㅗ」and「ㅜ」 respectively. cannot be distinctive from「ㅍ,ㅌ,ㅊ,ㅋ」respectively in the word initial position because of the omission of apostrophe. That will cause many difficulties in communication and connot be justified, for romanization is in essence a kind of tools for communication. Another defect of the revised system is its inconsistency in the representation of vowels. To say more concretely「ㅓ」and「ㅡ」are written by use of breve, but「ㅐ」and「ㅚ」by use of diagraphs, even though the four vowels share the same character that they lack their counterparts in the system of Roman letters. The assignment of two letters「s」and「sh」for one phoneme is not so desirable, either. That must be an unnecessary complication because〔∫i〕(induced by「shi」is not much, closer to〔? i〕(actual pronunciation) than〔 si〕(induced by「si」). However it can be estimated as the merit of the revised system to adopt the principle of transcription, discarding that of transliteration adopted in the previous system. The reason is that the former principle is more advantageous to the realization of actual pronunciation and that is more consistent with practical purposes of romanization. Therefore, considering the above-mentioned merit and faults of the revised system, I propose my alternatives as follows. 1. I favor for the principle of transcription. Therefore morphophonemic changes such as consonant assimilation and palatalization are reflected in the representation. 2. As for the assignment of letters for vowels, I propose one of the following two alternatives. 1) If the introduction of diacritic marks is inevitable, I propose to use umulaut rather than breve, for the former is much easier to type and write and more familiar to the general public than the latter. In that case the problematic vowels can be written like (6) (in the body of this paper). 2) If we use no symbols other than Roman letters, the use of diagraphs is the only way to represent the vowels in question. In this respect the previous MOE system is not so blameworthy. However, considering the fact that blames for the previous system were focused on the representation of「ㅓ」and「ㅡ」, I propose to rewrite those vowels like(8) (in the body of this paper). 3. Three serials of korean plosives must be distinguished from one another in word initial position. Therefore I propose that they should be distinctive like (9) in those positions. However they need not be distinguished in word-final position or before voiceless cosonants since they are neutralized in those environments.

      • 濟州地方에서 播種期가 풋마늘의 生育 및 收量에 미치는 影響

        This study was carried out to investigate the proper planting date and variety for early production of garlic in Cheju Island. The results obtained are as follows: 1) The emergence rate was accelerated when garlic was planted in August or later. Days to emergence increased when planted Septenber or later. 2) Jabong garlic showed the tallest plant height and the earlier the planting date (20 July), the plant height and leaf sheath length increased but the later the planting date (20 September), the height and sheatdh decreased. 3)There was no big differnce in leaf number among the vaieties and planting date. 4)The leafy garlic variety which can be harvested from Decenber to January was Jabong garlic,Namdo was Fevuary and Chejujaerae was March. 5)On Cheju Island, leafy garlic could be planted from July 20 to early September.

      • 비병원성 야생효모 Rhodosporidium toruloides HGG35-2와 호중구 elastase 저해제 생성효모인 Wickerhamomyces anomalus HO9-2로부터 Killer toxin 생산

        항진균 바이오의약의 소재인 killer toxin을 비병원성 야생효모로부터 생산하기 위하여 25개 비병원성 색소 생성 효모들의 killer toxin 활성을 측정하여 우수균주로 Rhodosporidium toruloides HGG35-2와 Wickerhamomyces anomalus HO9-2을 선발하였다. 이들 killer toxin 생성균주들의 효모 감수성 균주들에 대하여 killer 활성을 측정한 결과 시판 포도주등의 알콜발효로 이용되고 있는 Saccharomyces cerevisiae (La Parisienne®)에 대하여 우수한 항진균활성을 보였다. Killer toxin production of non-pathogenic wild yeasts, Rhodosporidium toruloides HGG35-2 and Wickerhamomyces anomalus HO9-2 were investigated. Rhodosporidium toruloides HGG35-2 showed strong killer activity against pathogenic yeast, Candida guilliermondii AHP28-1 and commercial alcohol fermentation yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae(La Parisienne). Wickerhamomyces anomalus HO9-2 also showed killer activity against Rhodotorula nothofagi JSC10-1 and commercial alcohol fermentation yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae(La Parisienne®).
