Linearly Constrained Adaptive Array Processing with Alternate Mainbeam Nulling

This paper concerns with signal cancellation problem in a linearly constrained adaptive array processor in coherent environment. Alternate mainbeam nulling approach was proposed to prevent the signal cancellation phenomenon. The linearly constrained LMS algorithm with a unit gain constraint and that with a null constraint in the direction of the desired signal is alternately implemented to reduce the signal interaction between the desired signal and the interferences, which is the main cause of the signal cancellation. It is shown that the proposed method performs better than a conventional method.

A novel approach is presented to improve the array performance of the alternate mainbeam nulling in a linearly constrained adaptive array processor in coherent environment. The convergence parameters in the linearly constrained LMS algorithm with a unit gain constraint and a null constraint in the direction of the desired signal are adaptively estimated to reduce the error power between the desired signal and the array output in the 2-dimensional convergence parameter space. It is shown that the case for estimating the convergence parameter for the unit gain constraint with that for null constraint fixed performs best. Also, it is observed that the proposed method performs significantly better than conventional methods as the number of coherent interferences increases.
효율적인 Web기반 조명시설 제어 및 관리 시스템의 개발

In this paper, PDA(Personal Digital Assistants) terminal is proposed to be used for controlling and managing light facilities efficiently by connecting it to a web-based server system and adding additional functions. The control box of current light facilities may be implemented based on a simple On-Off function. The operational quality of the light facilities will be efficiently improved with some practical advantages such as reduction of required facility, manpower and time in managing the lights and control boxes by using the popular PDA.

This paper concerns developing a integrated online.offline light facility management system for light facility using internet and building a database system for control box and street light. Also, we designed the system to minimize the disparity with the conventional management system by referring to a old management ledger format. Thus, the proposed method may enable the system manager to administer the light facility efficiently and to reduce the manpower cost, and time economically.

본 논문은 인터넷과 데이터베이스를 이용한 온라인/오프라인 통합 야외 조명시설 관리 시스템의 개발하고, 제어함과 조명등을 위한 데이터베이스의 구축에 관하여 연구한 내용이다. 또한 연구 결과물의 효용성을 높이기 위해 기존에 사용하는 양식을 기초로 개발하여 새로운 시스템의 적용 시 적응이 용이하도록 하였다. 따라서 온라인/오프라인 통합 야외 조명시설 관리를 통하여 조명시설 정보의 효과적인 운용이 가능하도록 개발하였으며, 이 시스템을 통하여 인력 및 유지보수비를 줄이는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
