The study is designed to discover the relation between the level of satisfaction and motive of in-line skating interest group members. 500 people who live in Gangneung at present(2004) are the object of the study. The actual number of the people who participated in the research is 498, however, only 488 people's answers were taken as valid data in accordance with some irrelevant answers. Data was coded according to coding instructions and applied into the computer to be analyzed by Descriptive analysis, one way ANOVA, Correlation and Standard multiple regression by SPSS 10.0 windows version according to their aims of analysis. The result of analysis is described as follow: First, The types of participation and the motive are inter-related with each other closely. Second, the types of participation and the level of satisfaction of members have impact on each other.

PURPOSE This study evaluated the influence of abutment materials on the stability of the implant-abutment joint in internal conical connection type implant systems. MATERIALS AND METHODS Internal conical connection type implants, cement-retained abutments, and tungsten carbide-coated abutment screws were used. The abutments were fabricated with commercially pure grade 3 titanium (group T3), commercially pure grade 4 titanium (group T4), or Ti-6Al-4V (group TA) (n=5, each). In order to assess the amount of settlement after abutment fixation, a 30-Ncm tightening torque was applied, then the change in length before and after tightening the abutment screw was measured, and the preload exerted was recorded. The compressive bending strength was measured under the ISO14801 conditions. In order to determine whether there were significant changes in settlement, preload, and compressive bending strength before and after abutment fixation depending on abutment materials, one-way ANOVA and Tukey's HSD post-hoc test was performed. RESULTS Group TA exhibited the smallest mean change in the combined length of the implant and abutment before and after fixation, and no difference was observed between groups T3 and T4 (P>.05). Group TA exhibited the highest preload and compressive bending strength values, followed by T4, then T3 (P<.001). CONCLUSION The abutment material can influence the stability of the interface in internal conical connection type implant systems. The strength of the abutment material was inversely correlated with settlement, and positively correlated with compressive bending strength. Preload was inversely proportional to the frictional coefficient of the abutment material.
Role of FOXO3a in Regulation of DNA Double Strand Break Repair Activity During Aging

Non homologous end joining (NHEJ) activity is known to be major double strand break DNA repair acivity in mammals and to be decreased during cellular aging even though their molecular mechanism remains still unknown. NHEJ activity was also decreased in aged tissue of mouse. Caloric restriction rescued decreased NHEJ activity in aged tissued. The level and activity of FOXO3a was also decreased in aged cells and tissues. In order to investigate the relationship between NHEJ activity and FOXO3a in cellular aging, we tested the levels of NHEJ factors and FOXO3a during cellular aging of human embryonic fibroblast (HEF). The protein levels of XRCC4, a NHEJ factor was decreased as well as NHEJ activity and FOXO3a level. To test whether NHEJ activity is dependent on XRCC4 and FOXO3a, we overexpressed XRCC4 and FOXO3a in old HEF by transfecting wildtype expression vector of XRCC4 or FOXO3a. The result showed that NHEJ activity was increased by overexpression of either XRCC4 or FOXO3a. Interestingly, the level of XRCC4 was also increased by overexpression of FOXO3a, suggesting that XRCC4 could be a target gene of FOXO3a. A reporter construct containing XRCC4 promoter and luciferase gene was used to test whether XRCC4 is regulated transcriptionally by FOXO3a. The result showed that luciferase activity was increased by FOXO3a overexpression in old HEF. Further, CHIP assay confirmed that FOXO3a interacts more tightly to XRCC4 promoter in young HEF. Immunohistochemical analysis using FOXO3a in mouse brain showed that aged hippocampus and cortex expressed low level of FOXO3a. Immuno blotting using FOXO3a in mouse brain showed that FOXO3a, XRCC4 and NHEJ were down-regulated in aged tissues. Taken together, the result demonstrated that the XRCC4 is transcriptionally regulated by FOXO3a during aging.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Ru- and Ti-based oxide electrocatalysts have been intensively studied for chlorine evolution reactions since their synergistic effect was demonstrated in commercial dimensionally stable anodes. Basically, oxide materials intrinsically possess a semiconducting nature; therefore, tuning conducting properties is important in achieving high electrocatalytic activity. Here, black TiO2 nanotube arrays deposited with RuO2 by pulsed electrodeposition are investigated as a three-dimensional supporting electrode for chlorine and hydrogen evolution. RuO2-loaded black titania achieves high chlorine evolution activity (10 and 100 mA cm−2 at 1.090 and 1.125 V vs. SCE) with a faradaic efficiency of 95.25% while RuO2-loaded titania has no activity, though hydrogen evolution reaction performance is similar. This suggests that the type of titania support affects the conducting property at anodic potentials and chlorine evolution activity. This work provides new insights into the importance of black titania materials in enhancing the electrocatalytic activity of anodic reactions.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> RuO2/black TiO2 NTAs exhibited outstanding chlorine evolution activity. </LI> <LI> RuO2/TiO2 NTAs had almost no activity for chlorine evolution reaction. </LI> <LI> Conductivity difference of oxide supports in anodic reactions determine activity. </LI> <LI> Black TiO2 is a promising material as a conductive support in chlorine evolution. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
