        The purpose of this study was to analysis on the clothing practice of fire fighter's protective clothing and 119 rescue clothing surveys of user's opinion and experiment on the physical properties of material. Firefighter's protective clothing should be required more flame-resistance, water-resistance, air permeability and reflectivity, 119 rescue clothing should be required more water-resistance, toughness and air permeability . Firefighter's protective clothing should be improved color, size, clothing weight, washability and clothing comfort.

      • Zeolite 混合洗劑의 洗滌性에 영향을 주는 諸要因

        In order to investigate the detergency characteristics of zeolite-contained detergent, it was estimated the zeolite concentrations, hardnenss, soil composition, surfactants, pH, cation types and electrolytes. The detergency of zeolite-contained detergent increased according to the increase of zeolite concentration. Above 200ppm of hardness, it was unaffected by zeolite concentration. And the effect of counter-ion in detergent solution with zeolite on detergency was shown differently in natural soiled cloth and artificial soiled cloth. Incase of the soiled cloth using carbon black or iron oxide black as a particulate soil, the detergency of carbon black was better than that of iron oxide black. The exchanging capacity of A-type zeolite for ??? ion was better than that Of ??? ion.

      • 소아과 입원 환자복의 착의실태에 관한 연구

        The purpose of the study was to investigate on the wearing actual condition of the pediatric inpatient's uniform. The data were collected from 153 users using questionnaire and interview of nurses for uniform management. The pediatric inpatient's uniform of the general hospital was similar to that for adult inpatient. The dissatisfaction of the wearing actual condition of the uniform was shown high in sizing system, changing uniform and fabric hand. The funtional design of the pediatric inpatient's uniform was suggested that, blue color, natural pattern, V neckline, three-quarter length sleeve, two pockets, full length pants with elastic band was the most suitable for the uniform. The material was good for hygiene and durability, but it was bad for hand, flexibility and extensibility. And also the degree of satisfaction for management by users was low. Finally, the users and managers should be change the mind on the role of the pediatric inpatient's uniform.

      • 무기염 첨가에 의한 셀룰로오스 섬유의 열분해 거동

        The thermal degradation of cellulose fibers by impregnation with inorganic salts have been studied using the techniques of TGA and DTGA. A comparison of the temperatures of various percentage decomposition reveals that the thermal stability of rayon decreases owing to early decomposition of the cellulose fibers as compared to cotton. When cellulose fibers are impregnated with NH₄Cl, CaCl₂, AlCl₃ additives, there are a shift in the temperature of initial decomposition, final decomposition, maximum rate of weight loss and change of decomposition mechanism toward the lower side of the thermal decomposition temperature. And the values of activation energy changes in the temperature range 200℃∼400℃ through themogravimetry and X-ray crystallinity index is also discussed.

        혈관성 파킨슨증의 경사에코 자기공명촬영 소견 : 환자-대조군 연구 A Case-Control Study

        Background & objective : Changes of signal intensity in the various Structures of basal ganglia(BG), Which can be detected by gradient echo MRI(GE-MRI). have been reported in different kinds of parkinsonism Altered iron content in these structures may be a possible explanation of above phenomenon Vascular parkinsonism is a kind of parkinsonism syndrome and is common However. There have been no reports about the BG signal changes on GE-MRI in vascular parkinsonism Methods : We investigated the difference of signal intensity in various BG and midbrain structures between 36 patients with vascular parkinsonism. which was defined as clinical parkinsonism+evidence of relevant vascular lesion on MRI+poor or no response to levodopa, and age-& sex- matched controls. The intensity of BG on GE-MRI was graded as 0-3 relative to cortical gray matter Results : There were no significant differences in clinical characteristics between two groups Among patients with vascular parkinsonism, hypointensity was observed in globus pallidus in 94.4%. in putamen in 58.3% in head of caudate in 33.3%, in substantia nigra in 72.2%,& in red nucleus in 52.8% There was no significant linear trend in the association between signal intensity of above structures and the presence of vascular parkinsonism (p>0 05 on Mantel-Haenszel chi-square test) However, the correlation between the degree of white matter lesions and the presence of vascular parkinsonism was statistically significant (p=003). Conclusions : Our GE-MRI study fails to prove that iron content of various BG structures in patients with vascular parkinsonism is different from controls.

        전해질 첨가에 따른 키토산/Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate 상호작용의 변화

        The change of interactions of anionic surfactants, sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) and sodium tetradecyl sulfate(STS) in the presence of electrolytes, to the chitosan-based polyelectrolyte(sol'n and gel phase) were studied. The chitosan gel used in this study were crosslinked with epichlorohydrin(ECH). Binding isotherms were determined by potentiometric technique using a surfactant ion selective solid-state electrode and the results were represented by using the sequence generating function(SGF) method. The results of binding isotherm were shown comparatively high cooperativity. The addition of electrolytes in the chitosan/SDS system resulted in a shift of the binding to higher free surfactant concentration because of screen effect by the electrolytes. Degree of binding of chitosan gel was higher than that of chitosan sol'n. And also a conformational phase transition gel in the presence of electrolytes has been investigated.

        The purpose of the study was to investigate on the using of the nursing brassiere. The data were collected from 170 users using questionnaire. The study procedures were consisted of the interview of sellers and on-line examination. The experienced users of the nursing brassiere was 75.3% of respondents. And the information of the nursing brassiere was received from neighborhood. The dissatisfaction of the wearing condition of the nursing brassiere was shown high in slit area, cleanliness, dressing-undressing easiness and sizing system. The preferable design of the nursing brassiere was skin nude color, side type of shoulder strap, center-front slit area, full cup with wire and absorption pad.

      • 카이토산-SDS 복합체의 소수화 섬유 제조

        This study has produced a hydrophobic chitosan-SDS fiber by extruding cationic chitosan into an anionic surfactant, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) coagulation bath. Conventionally, caustic baths of sodium hydroxide and/or alcohols are used to produce chtiosan fibers. The delivery rate was varied and it was found that 0.3ml/min, the largest average tenacity was measured, which was 3.02g/d. From FT-IR spectra, it was a large band that represented the hydrocarbon carbon-carbon stretch at 2923cm?, and also there was a new peak that indicated the sulfonate group at 1248cm?. After dyeing with two water insoluble dyes, it was determined that hydrophic regions do exist in the chitosan-SDS fibers. This indicates that there is a physical attraction between the hydrophobic dye molecules and the hydrophobic side groups on the chitosan chain.

      • Ce(Ⅳ)鹽에 의한 셀룰로오스 纖維에의 그라프트 重合에 관한 硏究

        Graft polymerization mechanism and rate of polymerization of MMA and MMA/4-VP onto cellulose fiber using Ce(Ⅳ) salt as an initiatior were investigated. It was shown that the concentration of Ce(Ⅳ) salt affected on the graft yield, graft efficiency, total conversion and the rate of graft polymerization. The graft yield and total conversion for MMA grafted polymer were significantly higher than those for MMA/4-VP grafted polymer with variation of CAN concentration. In this system the oxidative termination by Ce(Ⅳ) salt was considered particularly in higher concentration Ce(Ⅳ) ion. The change in the mode of termination reactions with variation of CAN concentration made possible the presence of an optimum Ce(Ⅳ) ion concentration for maximum graft yield.

      • 카이토산 필름의 분자간 가교화에 관한 연구

        Chitosan is an under-utilized polymer which possesses many of the desired characteristics for biodegradable materials. Chitosan is a preferred form of the polymer though, as it is a more tractable from to process into films or fibers than chitin. This study describes the crosslinking of deacetylated chitosan film. Epichlorhydrin(ECH) was selected as abase catalyzed crosslinking agent. According to the increase fo ECH concentration, the swelling ratio was decreased. The strength of chitosan film, especially wet tenacity, was improved by crosslinking up to 10x 10?M/1 ECH concentration and the elongation was decreased. The optimum conditions for the crosslinking reaction of chitosan film were performed for 2hrs with 10x10?M/1ECH at 40℃.
