No matter how various methods may be tried, for scar repair of extremities, the results were not so acceptable unfortunately. Of these procedures, Millard's trick (The Double-Breasted Vest Principle) is the one of most popular methods and which has been loved by many surgeons, esp, plastic surgeons, up to date. However, even this method couldn't satisfied us, because of undesirable disadvantages, and our new repair method, entitle "Modified Millard's Trick Method" was designed with supplement of disadvantages of Millard's Tric in mind and has been used in attempt to prevent recurrence of the usual spread. This approach is advocated for scars in area where stretch-ing is usual or where a careful regular repair has failed to prevent it. If there is any depression associated with the scar, this is corrected simultaneously by advancing both skin flaps in opposite direction. We have tired this new method for 1- cases of patients, esp. for relatively wide linear scar (over 5cm) on extremities.

Biocontrol agents (Pseudomonas aeruginosa HB-15 and Pantoea sp. HB-22, alone or in combination) were applied on cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) plants to evaluate their effect on suppressing damping-off caused by the fungal pathogen Rhizoctonia solani. Plant biomass, percent root mortality, phosphorus uptake, and the levels of stress-indicators NH3-NH4+ and proline in the plants were measured following the treatments. Additionally, gene expression induced by the biocontrol agents was compared to the gene expression induced by jasmonic acid and salicylic acid treatments. The biocontrol treatments increased fresh weight and phosphorus uptake, and reduced root mortality of the cucumber plants inoculated with the pathogen. No differences in plant ecophysiological responses were detected among biocontrol agent treatments. Concentrations of NH3-NH4+ and proline in the leaves and roots were higher in the control than in the biocontrol treatments. Salicylic acid- and Pantoea sp. HB-22-treated cucumbers showed increased expression of the acidic peroxidase-encoding gene and the phenylalanine ammonia homologue, while the P. aeruginosa HB-15 treatment did not induce an increase in expression of any of the genes studied.
Reusing of Information Constructed in HTML Documents

There have been efforts of making a knowledge based web, represented by Semantic Web. However, in this trend, HTML is not appropriate as a language for ontology and a structure of information. Due to numerous amounts of information in it, it seems rational to reuse those data in HTML. Previous studies are not enough to broadly convert HTML into OWL because they mainly focus on conversions of structured data (table tags), and they just give simple executions. In addition, GRDDL, a recommendation of W3C, needs an additional script for a conversion, and the output format of it is RDF which has some restrictions. This paper will offer three steps of conversions; (1) Extraction of information, (2) Acquiring triples, (3) Constructing ontology. There are two types of information; text-formed and non-text-formed information. In addition, there are two kinds of tags which include only text-formed information or which include both of text-formed and non-text-formed one. Depending on the type of tags, we classify tag categories and set rules for each of them. Using those rules, we can make triples, and finally we can construct ontology.

노트북, PDA와 같은 이동 단말의 대중화와 무선통신 기술의 발전에 따라 이동성에 대한 요구가 급증하고 있다. 이에 최근에는 차세대 프로토콜인 IPv6를 기반으로 이동성을 지원하는 Mobile IPv6에 대해 활발한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구실에서 그 동안 IPv6의 성능을 향상시키고 운영체제가 없는 환경에서 수행할 수 있도록 IPv6를 하드웨어로 구현하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이미 구현된 TCP/IPv6 칩을 기반으로 Mobile IPv6를 설계하였다.

Multicentric Castleman's disease (CD) is a rare atypical lymphoproliferative disorder, which is characterized by various systemic manifestations. Some patients with multicentric CD may have concomitant lung parenchymal lesions, for which lymphoid interstitial pneumonia (LIP) is known to be the most common pathologic finding. Follicular bronchiolitis and LIP are considered to be on the same spectrum of the disease. We describe a case of multicentric CD with pulmonary involvement, which was pathologically proven as follicular bronchiolitis.

This study was carried out to investigate effects of crude protein (CP) levels in total mixed rations (TMR) on growth performance and meat quality in growing Korean black goats. Thirty-six 6-month-old growing black male goats (initial body weight =17.95${\pm}$0.13 kg) were used. The goats were randomly divided into four treatments and 9 animals were allotted to each treatment. In terms of treatments, CP levels in TMR were 14, 16, 18, and 20% of dry matter (DM) and all diets were isocaloric (2.4 Mcal ME/kg DM). The experiment lasted for 20 weeks with a 15-day adaptation period. After the end of the trial, five goats from each treatment were slaughtered to measure carcass characteristics and meat quality. Average daily gain (ADG) significantly (p<0.05) increased as dietary CP levels increased, but the highest ADG was found on the 18% CP treatment. The higher CP levels in TMR significantly (p<0.05) decreased feed conversion ratio, but the lowest ratio was on the 18% CP treatment, suggesting a higher bioavailability of nutrients by balanced energy and protein levels on this treatment. There was no significant difference in dressing percentage among treatments, but there was a tendency for levels more than 16% CP in TMR to have a comparatively higher dressing percentage than the 14% treatment. The percentages of meat, fat and bone were not significantly influenced by dietary CP levels. Dietary CP levels did not influence chemical composition of goat meat. Furthermore, there was no significant difference among treatments in any of the sensory parameters except for tenderness. Tenderness was similar for 18 and 20% treatments, which were significantly (p<0.05) higher than the 14% treatment. The results from this study suggested that an adequate CP level in TMR for achieving optimal growth performance and meat quality of growing Korean black goats might be 18% of DM, and that dietary CP level above 18% seemed not to further increase growth performance and meat quality.

The largehead hairtail (Trichiurus lepturus) is one of the most common fisheries stocks in the East China Sea and the Yellow Sea. The species is caught using a variety of fishing tools, such as a stow net or a long line, as well as jigging and trawling. Scientific investigations have been conducted throughout the world to enable evidence-based estimations for the management and protection of the main fisheries biomass. For example, inshore and offshore hydro acoustic surveys are performed annually using bottom- and mid-water trawls around the Korean Peninsula. However, to date, no acoustic survey has been conducted to estimate fish size distribution, which is necessary to construct a data bank of target strength (TS) relative to fish species, length (L), and frequency. This study describes the frequency and length dependence of TS among fishes in Korean waters for the purpose of constructing such a TS data bank. TS measurements of the largehead hairtail were carried out in a water tank (L 5 m$\times$width 6 m$\times$ height 5 m) at frequencies of 50, 75, 120, and 200 kHz, using a tethering method. The average TS patterns were measured as a function of tilt angle, ranging from $-45^{\circ}$ (head down) to $+45^{\circ}$ (head up) every $0.2^{\circ}$. The length conversion constant ($b_{20}$) was estimated under the assumption that TS is proportional to the square of the length. In addition, in situ TS measurements on live largehead hairtails were performed using a split beam echo sounder.

<P>CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE In this large Korean cohort, cancer development increased the risk of subsequent diabetes. These data provide evidence that cancer is associated with an increased risk of diabetes in cancer survivors independent of traditional diabetes risk factors. Physicians should remember that patients with cancer develop other clinical problems, such as diabetes, with higher frequency than individuals without cancer, and should consider routine diabetes screening in these patients.</P>
