        Electroreduction of H2O2 by Co3O4 and NiCo2O4 nanowires and beta-Ni(OH)2 nanoplates grown on Ni foam.

        <P>Nanowires (Co3O4 and NiCo2O4) and nanoplates (beta-Ni(OH)2) grown on Ni foam are successfully prepared by a template-free method and used as cathode electrodes for the electroreduction of H2O2, in an alkaline medium. Catalytic performance is investigated via cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry. The Co3O4 and NiCo2O4 nanowire electrodes exhibit much better catalytic activity, stability, and mass transfer properties for H2O2 electroreduction than pressed Co3O4 and NiCo2O4 nanoparticle/carbon/PTFE electrodes. A current density of 101.8 mA cm(-2) and 122.7 mA cm(-2) are respectively achieved on Co3O4 and NiCo2O4 nanowire electrodes at -0.4 V in 0.4 mol/L H2O2, and 3.0 mol/L NaOH solution at room temperature.</P>

        Evaluation of New Selective Molecularly Imprinted Polymers for the Extraction of Resveratrol from Polygonum Cuspidatum

        Four different molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) were prepared using resveratrol as the template, methacrylic acid (MAA) or acrylamide (AA) as functional monomers, 2,2-azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) as the initiator, and thermo- or photo-induced polymerization. The ability of the different polymers to rebind selectively not only the template but also other phenols was evaluated. In parallel, the influence of the different templates and functional monomers used during polymer syntheses on the performance of the obtained MIPs was also studied through different rebinding experiments. The binding ability and selectivity of the polymer were studied by static balance method and Scatchard analysis. It was concluded that AA-based polymer by photo-induced polymerization presents the best properties to be used as a selective absorbent for the extraction of resveratrol.

      • DNMT3a rs1550117 Polymorphism Association with Increased Risk of Helicobacter pylori Infection

        Background: DNA methyltransferase-3a (DNMT3a) plays significant roles in embryogenesis and the generation of aberrant methylation in carcinogenesis. This study aimed to investigate associations between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the DNMT3a gene and risk of Helicobacter pylori infection, gastric atrophy and gastric cancer. Methods: The subjects comprised 447 patients with gastric cancer; 111 individuals with gastric atrophy and 961 healthy controls. Two SNPs (rs1550117 and rs13420827) of the DNMT3a gene were genotyped by Taqman assay. DNMT3a expression was analyzed in cancer tissues from 89 patients by tissue microarray technique. Odds ratio (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals were calculated by multivariate logistic regression. Results: Among healthy controls, risk of H.pylori infection was significantly higher in subjects with the rs1550117 AA genotype, compared to those with GG/AG genotypes of DNMT3a [OR=2.08, (95%CI: 1.02-4.32)]. However, no significant correlation was found between the two SNPs and risk of developing gastric atrophy or gastric cancer. In addition, no increase in DNMT3a expression was observed in the gastric cancer with H.pylori infection. Conclusions: This study revealed that DNMT3a rs1550117 polymorphism is significantly associated with an increased risk of H. pylori infection, but did not support any evidence for contributions of DNMT3a rs1550117 and rs13420827 to either gastric atrophy or gastric cancer. The biological roles of DNMT3a polymorphisms require further investigation.

        제품범주별로 살펴본 중국의 지역간 무역장벽에 관한 연구

        지역 간의 무역은 대국 내에서 서로 다른 지역 사이에 재화와 요소가 자유롭게 이동하여 자원의 최적 배분이 가능하도록 하여주기에 해당국가의 경제발전에 매우 중요하다. 그러나 중국내에서의 지역 간 무역은 높은 장벽과 국내 시장의 심각한 세분화 문제에 직면 해있다. 중국의 지역 간 무역장벽은 지역 경제발전을 저해하는 심각한 문제이다. 본 연구는 그동안 기존연구에서 주로 사용되어왔던 지역 간 평균 무역장벽 수치 대신 농산물, 경공업 제품 및 중공업 제품으로 재화를 구분하여 지역 간 무역장벽의 정도를 측정하였다. 2009년부터 2013년까지의 공식자료를 사용하여 중국내 28개 지역을 대상으로 조사한 본 연구에서는 이렇듯 3가지 제품범주로 나누어 살펴보았을 때의 각 지역 무역장벽의 정도가 그동안 평균 수치를 기준으로 살펴본 바와는 그 양상이 다른 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 농수산물, 경공업 제품, 중공업 제품별로 살펴본 지역 간 무역장벽은 그 분포도 상이하고 각각 특유한 패턴을 보이고 있다. Inter-regional trade is very important for economic development since it allows goods and elements to flow between different regions within a large country and achieve optimal allocation of resources. However, in China, inter-provincial trade has faced high barriers and serious segmentation of the domestic market. It remains a critical problem for regional economic development. Instead of calculating an overall price variance figure to measure inter-provincial trade barriers, this study measures them separately by agricultural goods, light-industry products and heavy-industry products. Using data from 2009 to 2013, the degree of inter-provincial trade barriers for the three categories are found to be quite different from the average in most of the twenty-eight regions studied. Also, the distributions of inter-provincial trade barriers across the country for agricultural goods, light-industry products and heavy-industry products exhibit unique distribution patterns.

        Comparative analysis on genome-wide DNA methylation in longissimus dorsi muscle between Small Tailed Han and Dorper×Small Tailed Han crossbred sheep

        Objective: The objective of this study was to compare the DNA methylation profile in the longissimus dorsi muscle between Small Tailed Han and Dorper${\times}$Small Tailed Han crossbred sheep which were known to exhibit significant difference in meat-production. Methods: Six samples (three in each group) were subjected to the methylated DNA immunoprecipitation sequencing (MeDIP-seq) and subsequent bioinformatics analyses to detect differentially methylated regions (DMRs) between the two groups. Results: 23.08 Gb clean data from six samples were generated and 808 DMRs were identified in gene body or their neighboring up/downstream regions. Compared with Small Tailed Han sheep, we observed a tendency toward a global loss of DNA methylation in these DMRs in the crossbred group. Gene ontology enrichment analysis found several gene sets which were hypomethylated in gene-body region, including nucleoside binding, motor activity, phospholipid binding and cell junction. Numerous genes were found to be differentially methylated between the two groups with several genes significantly differentially methylated, including transforming growth factor beta 3 (TGFB3), acyl-CoA synthetase long chain family member 1 (ACSL1), ryanodine receptor 1 (RYR1), acyl-CoA oxidase 2 (ACOX2), peroxisome proliferator activated receptor-gamma2 (PPARG2), netrin 1 (NTN1), ras and rab interactor 2 (RIN2), microtubule associated protein RP/EB family member 1 (MAPRE1), ADAM metallopeptidase with thrombospondin type 1 motif 2 (ADAMTS2), myomesin 1 (MYOM1), zinc finger, DHHC type containing 13 (ZDHHC13), and SH3 and PX domains 2B (SH3PXD2B). The real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction validation showed that the 12 genes are differentially expressed between the two groups. Conclusion: In the current study, a tendency to a global loss of DNA methylation in these DMRs in the crossbred group was found. Twelve genes, TGFB3, ACSL1, RYR1, ACOX2, PPARG2, NTN1, RIN2, MAPRE1, ADAMTS2, MYOM1, ZDHHC13, and SH3PXD2B, were found to be differentially methylated between the two groups by gene ontology enrichment analysis. There are differences in the expression of 12 genes, of which ACSL1, RIN2, and ADAMTS2 have a negative correlation with methylation levels and the data suggest that DNA methylation levels in DMRs of the 3 genes may have an influence on the expression. These results will serve as a valuable resource for DNA methylation investigations on screening candidate genes which might be related to meat production in sheep.

        The music major of local undergraduate colleges is a specific unit for cultivating applied music talents. Practice has proved that only by integrating the education and training of music talents with the cultural and economic development of the society can we truly establish and enhance the social competitiveness of local undergraduate colleges. The article takes the music major of Hunan City College of Art as an example. According to the functions of colleges and universities serving local economy and culture, in terms of the training of applied music talents, it is required to have both the qualification of music teachers and the qualification of performing arts in terms of professional ability; The focus is on "diversified sources of learning and diverse sources of business." After 8 years of research and practice, we have built an application-oriented music talent training model of “diversified knowledge, diverse capabilities, strong professionalism, and both creations”.

      • Countermeasure Research on the Sustainable Development of Hunan Traditional Music under the Context of Innovation Culture

        By understanding the connotation of innovation culture and the status quo of domestic traditional music research, this paper proposes the topic of the fusion of innovation culture and Hunan traditional music. Based on the rich field data obtained by the two-year research institute, this paper proposes the integration of Hunan traditional music and innovation culture. Using the traditional music of Hunan and Hunan as an important part of Hunan's social culture, the understanding and research of its era and value is the premise of innovation, and further summarizes some sustainable development methods and countermeasures, in order to solve the traditional music of Hunan. The issue of inheritance and development provides scientific decision-making basis for traditional music development strategy, policy formulation and organization management, and promotes the construction of Hunan's “cultural strong province”.
