Damage behavior of quasi-isotropic circular composite plates of Herculus AS4/3501-6 graphite/epoxy were investigated and the residual compressive strength after impact under low-velocity impact type loads was evaluated. The locations and lengths of damages inside the plate after the impact were calculated by means of a three-dimensional finite element method and compared with the impact test results. Also, the load-deflection curves for impact were used to predict the major damage characteristics of the impact force in the laminated composites.

논에 있어서 정밀농업을 위한 기초자료수집과 분석을 하기 위해서 토양의 특성, 포장면 고저차, 생육상태 그리고 수량에 관한 포장정보를 조사한 결과 아래와 같은 결과를 얻었다. 가. 기본통계값을 살펴보면 유효태 규산의 경우는 한 포장내 14배 이상의 변이차이를 보였으며, 생육정보 중 분얼수는 3배, 수량은 4배 이상의 차이를 보였다. 나. 포장정보의 변이계수를 살펴보면 5.45∼51.3%의 공간변이를 보였다. 토양특성 중에 pH를 제외한 나머지가 10%이상의 공간변이를 보였다. 포장면 고저차는 51.3%, 생육정보는 7.32∼23.2%, 그리고 수량에 있어서도 변이계수가 22.5%를 보였다. 다. 포장정보를 공간통계학을 이용해 해석한 결과, 포장정보의 공간구조 발달여부를 표시하는 Q값이 0.24∼1로서 공간구조가 포장정보에 따라서 발달되어 있었으며, 공간변이의 의존거리를 나타내는 랜지는 8.1∼147.9m를 보였다. 그러나, 실질적인 랜지는 토양특성값이 15∼50m 정도, 생육정보는 15m 전후, 포장면 고저차는 30m 정도, 수량은 8.1m를 보였다. 이것을 기초로 하여 크리깅 방법으로 데이터를 보간하여 지도화 시킨결과, 공간변이를 이해하는데 유용하게 이용될 수 있는 포장정보 지도를 얻을 수 있었다. Soil properties, relief of field surface, growth information, grain yield were investigated in a 1ha paddy field in 2001 to obtain basic field information for precision agriculture. The field information were analyzed to examine their within field variability using descriptive statistical method. Semivariograms and Kriged maps of geostatistical analysis were also adopted to examine their within field spatial dependence. The results obtained were as follows ; 1) Nutrient distribution difference of available SiO_2 was seemed 14 times overs, 3 times overs at tiller number, 4 times overs at grain yield from within a paddy field. 2) Descriptive statistics of field information showed that the coefficient of variation ranged from 5.45∼51.3%. 3) Field information showed a high spatial dependence within a paddy field. The Q values ranged from 0.24∼1, the ranges of spatial dependence were from 8.1∼50m, respectively. 4) Kriged maps enable the visualization and comparison of the spatial variability of field informaton.

This paper introduces an optimal algorithm through analyzing and studying various algorithms used in DARPA Urban Challenge 2007 and making a numerical statement about each algorithm. The top eleven teams that passed the NQE (National Qualifying Event) used Dijkstra, A*, RRTs, and D*. Therefore, this research will focus on those algorithms and study a method to apply an optimal algorithm.

A navigation Algorithm is very important on UGV. So, in this research, we propose the algorithm of navigation method by using RTK-GPS units and encoders. GPS systems sometimes lose their signals and receive inaccurate position data due to many factors, such as obstructions. This paper shows that GPS failure can be solved by using a DR navigation method with encoders and that position errors can be decreased by using RTK-GPS units. In addition to this method, new way point update algorithm and steering algorithm using RTK-GPS units will by introduced.

This paper introduces an AVP (Automated Valet Parking) system which applies an autonomous driving concept into the current PAS (Parking Assistant System). The present commercial PAS technology is limited into vehicle. It means vehicle only senses and controls by and for itself to assist the parking. Therefore, the present PAS is restricted to simple parking events. But AVP includes wider parking events and planning because it uses infra-sensor network as well as vehicle sensor. For the realization of AVP, the commercial steering system of a compact vehicle was modified into steer-by-wire structure and various sensors like LRF (Long Range Finder) and camera were installed in a parking area. And local & global server decides where and when the vehicle can go and park in the testing area after recognized the status of environment and vehicle from those sensors. GPS solution was used to validate the AVP performance. More various parking situations, vehicles and obstacles will be considered in the next research stages based on these results. And we expect this AVP solution with more intelligent vehicles can be applied in a big parking lot like a market, an amusement park, etc.

This paper shows a method of multiple communication to be connected each of distributed levels of developed unmanned vehicle system according to the JAUS. Each of distributed levels of the JAUS hierarchy divides into a system, some of subsytem, nodes, and components/instances below a system, each of which may be independet or interdependence. Each of levels must require a method of communication to porcess data with high speed. However, a device or a method of communication interface what each of distributed independent levels request and receive a data to another level is different. Thereupon, we will show a reference of using JAUS messages what it are able to communicate between distributed levels in an unmanned vehicle system, and what is the JAUS hierarchy.

ObjectivesThe purpose of this study is to analyze research trends on the Korean medi-cal treatment of wrist ganglion and to develop the way of treatment.MethodsWe searched the papers with a key word of ``wrist ganglion`` in Korean data-base (NDSL, KISS, Korean traditional knowledge portal) and Pubmed.ResultsTotal 5 studies were found. Major treatment method was the acupuncture in-cluding electroacupuncture, pharmacopuncture and acupotomy. Minor treatments were moxibustion, wet cupping, herbal medicine and percutaneous aspiration.ConclusionsVarious treatment methods were used for curing wrist ganglion and they were effective. To map out the systemic treatment of Korean medicine on wrist ganglion, more clinical reports are needed. (J Korean Med Rehab 2014;24(4):111-116)
