      • An Algorithm for Finding a Reasonable Smooth Curve for Any Given Data

        This paper suggests an assignment algorithm in order to construct a reasonable Slope for any given data along with building division algorithms for generating interpolating intervals. In connection with these, finding out the Smooth Curve algorithm and generating it are essential. Finally, the fulfillment of the mathematical error analysis and numerical experience concerning with Smooth curve algorithm result in a reasonably varitying the Smooth Curve.

        Characterization of the surface immobilized synthetic heparin binding domain derived from human fibroblast growth factor-2 and its effect on osteoblast differentiation

        <P>Fibroblast growth factor (FGF)-2 regulates a variety of cellular functions, such as proliferation and differentiation, by binding to cell surface FGF receptors (FGFRs) in the presence of heparin proteoglycans. FGF-2 is known as a heparin-binding growth factor, but the localization of the heparin binding site has not been fully investigated until now. We used two potential heparin binding domains of FGF-2, the residues 105–111 (F105, YKRSRYT) and 119–135 (F119, KRTGQYKLGSKTGPGQK). Peptides could be stably immobilized onto the surface of tissue culture plates. Using solid phase binding assays, we demonstrated that both peptides had higher binding affinity toward heparin compared with nonbinding control sequence. The biological significance of these sites was tested by cell attachment and osteoblast differentiation studies. Cell attachment to the peptides F105 and F119 increased in a dose-dependent manner. Heparin and heparinase treatments decreased cell adhesion to both F105 and F119. This demonstrates that both F105 and F119 interact with cell-surface heparan sulfate proteoglycans, suggesting that FGF-2 has two heparin binding sites. In addition, osteoblast differentiation, confirmed by ALPase activity and mineralization, was increased by surface immobilized peptide F105 and F119. Taken together, these heparin binding peptides could be applied as biological agents enhancing osteoblast differentiation as well as surface modification tools in the tissue regeneration area, especially for bone regeneration. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.       • 집단 미술치료가 시설아동의 자아존중감 및 우울 변화에 미치는 효과

        본 연구는 집단미술치료가 시설아동의 자아존중감 및 우울 변화에 미치는 효과성을 검증하는 것이다. 연구대상은 강릉시 소재 아동시설에 거주하는 초등학교 4, 5, 6학년 28명이며, 치료집단 14명과 통제집단 14명으로 구분하여 치료집단의 효과를 검증하였다. 집단미술치료는 사전, 사후 검사회기를 포함하여 주 1~2회기로 70-90분씩 총 17회 실시하였다. 연구에 사용된 측정도구는 다음과 같다. 자아존중감을 측정하기 위해 Coopersmith의 SEI (Self Esteem Inventory; SEI)를 신철이 번안한 검사지를 사용하였고, 우울의 측정도구는 Kovacs와 Beck이 아동기 우울증의 인지적, 정서적, 행동적 증상들을 평가하기 위해 개발한 자기 보고형 척도를 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 집단미술치료가 시설아동의 자아존중감 변화에 효과가 있는지를 검증하였다. 그 결과, 집단미술치료를 통해 치료집단 시설아동의 자아존중감이 통제집단 시설아동보다 유의미한 향상을 보였다. 치료집단의 경우, 자아존중감의 각 하위척도인 총체적 자아존중감, 사회적 자아존중감, 가정적 자아존중감, 학교내 자아존중감 항목에서 각각 유의미한 향상을 보였다. 둘째, 집단미술치료가 시설아동의 우울을 변화시키는 데에 효과가 있는지를 검증하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 치료집단의 우울 정도가 통제집단의 우울정도에 비해 유의미한 감소를 보였다. 위의 연구결과를 토대로 살펴볼 때, 일반 아동에 비해 자아존중감이 낮고 우울이 높다고 보고된 시설 아동들이 집단미술치료를 받음으로써 자아존중감을 향상시키고 우울을 낮출 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 부모나 가정으로부터 떨어져 생활하는 시설아동에게 집단미술치료활동을 실시함으로써 이들이 가진 심리적 어려움을 극복하고 사회성 기술을 향상시키며 적절한 자기표출과 표현방법을 찾도록 도와줄 수 있다. This study was intended to verify the effects of group art therapy on the self-esteem and the depression of institutionalized children. The subjects were a total of 28 children in their 4th, 5th, or 6th grade at the child care facilities in Gangreung:they were divided into an experimental group(14 children) and a control group(14 children). The group art therapy was carried out 17 times including pre-test and post-test sessions; therapy sessions were 1-2 times a week for 70-90 minutes. The Self Esteem Inventory(SEI) test, developed by Coopersmith and translated in Korean by Shin Chol, was used to measure the self esteem of those participants. Depression was measured by the self rating depression scale, developed by Kovacs and Beck to assess the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral symptoms of children. The results of this study were summarized as follows:Study 1 verified the effects of group art therapy on the self-esteem of the institutionalized children. The group art therapy significantly increased the self-esteem of the experimental group compared to that of the control group. In the experimental group, there was a significant improvement in all of the sub-scales of self-esteem; total self-esteem, social self-esteem, home self-esteem, and school self-esteem. Study 2 verified the effects of group art therapy on the depression of the institutionalized children. The group art therapy resulted in a significant decrease in depression of the experimental group compared to that of the control group. These findings indicated that group art therapy could be used to improve the self-esteem and to decrease the depression of institutionalized children who were reported to have problems with self-esteem and depression. For institutionalized children, group art therapy would be useful to help them overcome their psychological difficulties, improve their social skills, and find appropriate methods of self disclosure and expression.

        Inhibition of Histone Deacetylase 10 Induces Thioredoxin-Interacting Protein and Causes Accumulation of Reactive Oxygen Species in SNU-620 Human Gastric Cancer Cells

        Histone deacetylase (HDAC)10, a novel class IIb histone deacetylase, is the most similar to HDAC6, since both contain a unique second catalytic domain. Unlike HDAC6, which is located in the cytoplasm, HDAC10 resides in both the nucleus and cytoplasm. The transcriptional targets of HDAC10 that are associated with HDAC10 gene regulation have not been identified. In the present study, we found that knockdown of HDAC10 significantly increased the mRNA expression levels of thioredoxin-interacting protein (TXNIP) in SNU-620 human gastric cancer cells; whereas inhibition of HDAC1, HDAC2, and HDAC6 did not affect TXNIP expression. TXNIP is the endogenous inhibitor of thioredoxin (TRX), which acts as a cellular antioxidant. Real-time PCR and immunoblot analysis confirmed that inhibition of HDAC10 induced TXNIP expression. Compared to class I only HDAC inhibitors, inhibitors targeting both class I and II upregulated TXNIP, indicating that TXNIP is regulated by class II HDACs such as HDAC10. We further verified that inhibition of HDAC10 induced release of cytochrome c and activated apoptotic signaling molecules through accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Taken together, our results demonstrate that HDAC10 is involved in transcriptional downregulation of TXNIP, leading to altered ROS signaling in human gastric cancer cells. How TXNIP is preferentially regulated by HDAC10 needs further investigation.

        드림스타트 아동통합사례관리사의 사례관리역량이 직무만족에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 드림스타트 아동통합사례관리사가 인식한 사례관리역량의 중요도와 실행도를 비교분석하여 이들 차이를 극복할 조직전략을 마련하고 직무만족을 높일 수 있는 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 전국 드림스타트 아동통합사례관리사를 대상으로 e-설문조사를 수행하였고 분석방법으로는 IPA(중요도-실행도 비교분석)과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 드림스타트 아동통합사례관리사의 사례관리역량 중요도는 5점 기준으로 평균 4.17점, 실행도는 3.50점으로 중요도 인식에 비해 상대적으로 실행도가 낮았지만 실행도 자체도 보통이상의 수준이었다. 둘째, 사례관리역량의 IPA(중요도-실행도 간 차이분석)결과, 중요도는 높으나 실행도가 낮은 역량은 지역사회 자원연계개발과 관리, 대상자의 자원정보 분석, 사례관리 단기목표 및 장기목표 수립, 사례관리 실행계획 전략, 자원활용계획, 대상자의 문제해결 역량강화, 지역사회연계 및 개발 등이었는데, 이들 역량들에 대한 향후 중점관리전략이 요청되었다. 셋째, 사례관리역량과 직무만족의 관계를 다중회귀분석한 결과, 사례관리역량의 중요도와 실행도 모두 직무만족에 통계적으로 유의미한 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 기반으로 향후 전문적이며 효과적인 사례관리역량을 강화하고 아동통합사례관리사의 직무만족을 높일 수 있는 조직전략 방안을 제시하였다. The purpose of the study was to conduct a comparison analysis of the importance and performance of case management competency as perceived by integrated case managers of Dream Start, and to develop an organizational strategy to overcome the gap between the two and increase the degree of job satisfaction. To achieve the goal, email questionnaires were conducted targeting 229 Dream Start’s integrated case managers. For means of analysis, IPA and regression analysis were conducted. The results of the study were, first, degree of importance regarding case management of integrated case managers in Dream Start averaged 4.17 of 5, and its performance averaged 3.50 of 5. Second, as a result of IPA for case management competency, competencies high in importance but lower in performance, were community network development and management. Thus, strengthening management strategies related to network development is recommended. Third, through multiple regression analysis of relationship between case management competency and job satisfaction, importance as well as performance of job competency posed statistically meaningful, positive influence on job satisfaction. With such results, promotion of professional and effective case management competency as well as increasing job satisfaction are required in the future.

      • Food Recommendation System Using Big Data Based on Scoring Taste Adjectives

        It is a general practice to evaluate food taste based on sensory tests, however, this test method’s disadvantage is that a lot of cost and time is required and significant deviation is taken place depending on each evaluator as well. Food taste evaluation by utilizing SNS-based big data for supplementing this disadvantage is considered to be a new challenge and innovative method. The objective of this study is to suggest a system that evaluates and recommends the level of domestic food taste by not only clustering food preference using k-means algorithm after sorting out food-related tweet contents from typical twitter of SNS, followed by scoring taste adjectives being mainly used in daily life by using rough set and selecting food-related adjectives among the scored adjectives, but also exploring the level of salty, sour, savory, bitter and sweet tastes through perception map.

        사회복지관 일선사회복지사의 직무만족 결정변인에 관한 연구 - 서울지역 사회복지관 중심으로

          본 연구는 사회복지사의 직무만족에 관한 연구로 서울지역 사회복지관 일선사회복지사의 직무만족에 영향력을 가지는 변인들을 식별함으로써, 사회복지사의 직무만족 결정변인을 알아보고, 이에 대한 전략적 대안을 마련하는데 그 목적을 두고 있었다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 3개의 사회복지관의 중간관리자들과의 집단면담을 통해 직무만족 실태를 파악한 후 서울지역 사회복지관에 종사하는 사회복지사를 대상으로 우편 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문대상자는 현 사회복지관에서 1년이상 3년 미만 근무한 직급이 일선사회복지사인 자로 하였으며, 154부의 설문지를 최종적으로 분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SAS 통계프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 피어슨의 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다.<BR>  본 연구에서는 사회복지사의 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 변인을 개인특성, 업무과제특성, 조직특성의 3가지 영역으로 살펴보았는데, 연구결과 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 변인 중 개인특성 변인에서는 학력과 실무경력이 유의하게 나타났고, 업무과제 변인에서는 역할의 명확성, 업무의 자율성, 업무 스트레스 변인이, 그리고 조직특성 변인 중에서는 급여 및 복리후생, 동료의 지지, 전문적 발전을 위한 기회 변인이 유의한 것으로 조사되었다.<BR>  이러한 결과를 기반으로 본 연구에서는 사회복지관 일선사회복지사의 직무만족을 위한 전략차원의 제언으로 수퍼비전 체계 마련, 급여 및 보상체계 점검 등 조직차원의 변화, 일선사회복지사의 전문적 발전의 기회 확보를 위한 조직의 인력개발 ?지원정책 마련, 조직의 학습조직화, 역할 명확성과 업무 스트레스에 대한 해결을 위해 직무역할과 책임 규명, 명확한 의사소통체계, 직무기술서와 컴퓨터시스템 도입방안 등을 전략적 방안으로 제시하였다.   The purpose of this study is to identify the determining factors of job satisfaction among the social workers in the community service centers of Seoul. This study is intended to contribute to the establishment of the strategy for the development of the human resources of the community service centers and the efficient and effective management of the organizations. This is done by finding out the social workers" real job satisfaction at the community service centers and providing the necessary information for the determining variable factors on their job satisfaction. For this, we had group interview with the middle managements of 3 community service centers and then took the complete enumeration on the social workers who worked between 1-3 years at the community centers in Seoul. We did a mail survey with 154 responses and analyzed the data with SAS. The analyses used were frequency analysis, average, standard deviation, Pearson"s correlation coefficient and multiple regression.<BR>  We examined the influencing variables on job satisfaction in 3 different characteristics: individual characteristics, job assignment characteristics and organizational characteristics. The study result showed that job experience was influential to the relation of individual characteristics and job satisfaction. To the relation of job assignment and job satisfaction, the variables on the clarity of the job, the autonomy of the job and the stress from the job were influential. To the relation of organizational characteristic and job satisfaction, pay, fringe benefit, support from colleagues and the opportunity for professional development were followed in their order of influence.<BR>  Based on the result, this study suggests the following strategic plans as a proposal for increasing the social workers" job satisfaction in the community service centers: organizational changes which include provision of supervision system; checking the compensation scheme; development of human resources and support policy which ensure the opportunity of professional development of social workers: systematization of learning in the organization; clear definition on the job role and responsibility to resolve stress; clear communication channels, job description and utilization of an efficient computer system.
