Vol.16 No.2
그 화합물들의 구조는 C₁₃의 cis와 trans의 Spiro-ketalenolether : H₃C-(C≡C)₂-CH=????????? and C₁?의 Triyne-diene : H₃C-(C≡C)₃-(CH=CH)₂-(CH₂)₃-OAc. The polyacetylene contents if Chrysanthemum Sibiricum Fischer have been examined. Their isolation, characterization and structure determination are described. They are the C₁₃Spiro-ketalenolethers, cis and trans H₃C-(C≡C)₂-CH=????????? and C₁? Triyne-diene acetate H₃C-(C≡C)₃-(CH=CH)₂-(CH₂)₃-OAc.
Regionalism, Political Risk and Capital Market Segmentation in International Asset Pricing
2001 Journal of Economic Integration Vol.16 No.3
This study examines the relationship between financial market segmentation and political risk. Financial economists have attributed market segmentation to factors such as foreign exchange risk, taxes, tariffs and capital controls whereas the influence of political risk has been largely ignored. It is discovered that markets are generally segmented on a regional basis. It is also found that there is a high correlation between political risk and capital market segmentation. However, some countries may appear to be integrated when not because their economies are affected by similar economic factors such as the price of commodities or level of economic development. These findings have profound implications for asset pricing. Multi-index models should be tested that incorporate a regional index, an economic development attribute, commodity factors and a political risk variable in order to price securities more effectively.
Regional Integration of Stock Markets in Latin America
2002 Journal of Economic Integration Vol.17 No.4
This paper examines the trend towards regionalism upon stock market returns in Latin America. Average correlations with other countries in the region and with the world suggest that the Latin American stock markets have become more regionally integrated over the study period. This finding reflects the growing cooperation between Latin American countries since liberalisation in the early 1990s. Prior to liberalisation, Latin American stock market returns showed greater association with the more developed markets, particularly the USA, than with their closest neighbour. This may have been due to the high dependence upon debt from these developed countries. Analysis highlights the importance of stock market data in helping researchers understand and monitor the regional integration process in Latin America.

Wu Yunxin,Park Seong-Jin,Heaney Donald F.,Zou Xin,Gai Guosheng,Kwon Young-Sam,German Randall M. 한국분말야금학회 2006 한국분말야금학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.2006 No.1
Powder injection molding (PIM) is a suitable technology for the fabrication of complex shape titanium and its alloys, and has a great potential in many applications. This paper dealt with the injection molding of hydride dehydrogenization (HDH) titanium powder, spheroidized HDH titanium powder and gas atomized titanium powder. Rheological and thermalgravimetric behaviors were compared between the feedstocks of the three powders, and a tentative application of Ti PIM to eye frame temple and bridge was briefed.

Hydrogels have been extensively investigated as a platform for drug delivery. However, their use for the delivery of hydrophobic drugs has been limited by their incompatibility with hydrophobic drug molecules. The chemical modification of the structure of the hydrogels to include hydrophobic moieties has been proven to be a good alternative to increase the stability and solubility of hydrophobic drugs in the polymer matrix of the hydrogel. The inclusion of hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrins (HPBCD) and Tween® 85 (T85) within hydrogel matrices has the potential to improve hydrophobic drug loading and release. HPBCD have the ability to host hydrophobic drug molecules in their cone-like structure, forming inclusion complexes through host-guest interactions. On the other hand, T85 is an amphiphilic molecule and, consequently, has the potential to increase hydrophilic drug loading within the hydrogels. In the present work, a new type of hydrogel made from poly(methyl vinyl ether-co-maleic acid) (GAN) and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) containing T85 and HPBCD was synthesized for hydrophobic drug release. Hydrogels were based on GAN crosslinked (PEG) and HPBCD and/or T85 via an esterification in the solid state (solvent free). The synthesised hydrogels were characterised using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, swelling studies and contact angle measurements. The hydrogels showed swellings ranging from 140 to 180%. The inclusion of T85 in the hydrogels improved the wettability of the materials. On the other hand, the inclusion of HPBCD within the hydrogels decreased the wettability as the contact angle between the hydrogels and water increased with the HPBCD content. Finally, the materials were loaded with an ophthalmic drug, dexamethasone (DX). HPBC-containing hydrogels showed a higher DX uptake and, consequently, also a higher capacity of DX release. On the other hand, T85 containing hydrogels did not show any improvement over the hydrogels containing only GAN and PEG. The hydrogels were able to provide sustained DX release over periods of 6 h.
