pH 4.3과 pH 7.0의 과포화용액에서 불소의 농도가 합성 수산화인회석의 결정 성장에 미치는 영향
신현일,박성호,박정원,이찬영 大韓齒科保存學會 2012 Restorative Dentistry & Endodontics Vol.37 No.1
Objectives: Present study was undertaken to investigate the crystal growth onto synthetic hydroxyapatite (HA) seeds in pH 4.3 and pH 7.0 supersaturated solutions with different fluoride concentrations. Materials and Methods: 8 groups of pH 4.3 and 7.0 calcium phosphate supersaturated solutions were prepared with different fluoride concentrations (0, 1, 2 and 4 ppm). Calcium phosphate precipitates yield crystal growth onto the HA seed surface while solutions flow. For evaluation of crystallizing process, the changes of Ca2+, PO43-, F- concentrations of the inlet and outlet solutions were determined. The recovered solid samples were weighed to assess the amount of minerals precipitated, and finally determined their composition to deduce characteristics of crystals. Results: During the seeded crystal growth, there were significantly more consumption of Ca2+, PO43-, F- in pH 4.3 solutions than pH 7.0 (p < 0.05). As fluoride concentration increased in pH 4.3 solution, Ca2+, PO43-, F- consumption in experimental solutions, weight increment of HA seed, and fluoride ratio in crystallized samples were increased. There were significant differences among the groups (p < 0.05). But in pH 7.0 solution, these phenomena were not significant. In pH 7.0 solutions, analyses of crystallized samples showed higher Ca/P ratio in higher fluoride concentration. There were significant differences among the groups (p < 0.05). But in pH 4.3 solution, there were not significant differences in Ca/P ratio. Conclusions: Crystal growth in pH 4.3 solutions was superior to that in pH 7.0 solutions. In pH 4.3 solutions, crystal growth increased with showed in higher fluoride concentration up to 4 ppm.

Triazenyl Radicals Stabilized by N-Heterocyclic Carbenes

Not with standing the notable progress in the synthesis of N-heterocyclic carbene-stabilized radicals, aminyl radicals, supported by NHCs or otherwise, have been scarcely studied due to synthetic challenges. Triazenyl radical is a particular form of aminyl radical that contains three adjacent nitrogen atoms, and offers intriguing possibilities for unique reactivity and physical properties stemming from expected delocalization of the spin density over the NNN moiety and its conjugated substituents. Here, we report the synthesis and full characterization of the first NHC-stabilized triazenyl radicals, obtained by one-electron reduction of the corresponding triazenyl cations with potassium metal. These radicals reversibly oxidize back to the cations upon treatment with transition metal sources or electrophiles, and abstract H atom from xanthene to form a new N-H bond at the center nitrogen atom. Potential application of the redox couple between triazenyl cation and triazenyl radical was demonstrated as cathode active materials in lithium ion batteries.

A simple yet scalable strategy for fabricating dry adhesives with mushroom-shaped micropillars is achieved by a combination of the roll-to-roll process and modulated UV-curable elastic poly(urethane acrylate) (e-PUA) resin. The e-PUA combines the major benefits of commercial PUA and poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS). It not only can be cured within a few seconds like commercial PUA but also possesses good mechanical properties comparable to those of PDMS. A roll-type fabrication system equipped with a rollable mold and a UV exposure unit is also developed for the continuous process. By integrating the roll-to-roll process with the e-PUA, dry adhesives with spatulate tips in the form of a thin flexible film can be generated in a highly continuous and scalable manner. The fabricated dry adhesives with mushroom-shaped microstructures exhibit a strong pull-off strength of up to ∼38.7 N cm–2 on the glass surface as well as high durability without any noticeable degradation. Furthermore, an automated substrate transportation system equipped with the dry adhesives can transport a 300 mm Si wafer over 10 000 repeating cycles with high accuracy.

Graphic Abstract

ACS Electronic Supporting Info

In turbomachinery rotor, there are small differences in the structural and/or geometrical properties of individual blades, which are referred to as blade mistuning. Mistuning effects of the forced response of bladed disks can be extremely large as often reported in many studies. In this paper, the pattern optimization of intentional mistuning for bladed disks considering with intentional mistuning intensity effect is the focus of the present investigation. More specifically, the class of intentionally mistuned disks considered here is limited, for cost reasons, to arrangements of two types of blades (A and B, say) and Genetic Algorithm is used to optimize the arrangement of these blades around the disk to reduce the forced response of blade with intentional mistuning intensity levels.
