Observations of Weak Heat Flux due to Phase Transitions in CsPbX3(X=Cl, Br)
Hironori Hiraoka,Akira Kojima,Hiroshi Iwasaki,Katsuei Higashi,Ken-ichi Tozaki,Yukio Yoshimura 한국물리학회 2005 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.46 No.1
We have established a system for detecting weak heat ux due to phase transitions by a combination of DTA by using the mK-stabilized cell" previously developed and treatment by both the moving average and the box car integrator by using a personal computer. By the system, the existence of a phase transition in CsPbCl3 was conrmed, having been observed by our X-ray diraction study, and the phase transition series was reported to be predominant, having a heterostructure. Weak heat ux was also observed in CsPbBr3, having been conrmed to be phase transitions by X-ray diraction. The phase transition temperatures in CsPbX3(X = Cl, Br) recognized by the heat ux measurements are in excellent agreement with the results of NQR measurements.

Early detection and resection of neoplastic lesions are key objectives to diminish colorectal cancer mortality. Resection of superficialcolorectal neoplasms, cold snare polypectomy, endoscopic mucosal resection, and endoscopic submucosal dissection have all beendeveloped and used worldwide. The pocket-creation method facilitates the resection of tumors in diffcult and routine locations. Earlydetection is the most important first step to maximize the benefits of recent advancements in endoscopic techniques. However, thedetection of small, flat-shaped, or faded color lesions remains diffcult. Linked color imaging, a novel multi-light technology, facilitatesthe recognition of minor differences in tissue by enhancing the color contrast between early colorectal neoplasms and surroundingnormal mucosa in a bright field of view. The most striking feature of linked color imaging is its ability to display the color of earlyneoplastic lesions as distinct from inflammatory changes, both of which have similar “redness” when viewed using white light imaging. To increase the detection rate of neoplasms, linked color imaging should be used from the outset for endoscopic observation. Earlydetection of superficial colorectal tumors can result in decreased mortality from colorectal cancer and maintain a good quality of life forpatients.
Alternative Paths to Party Polarization: External Impacts of Intraparty Organization in Japan
Hironori Sasada,Naofumi Fujimura,Satoshi Machidori 동아시아연구원 2013 Journal of East Asian Studies Vol.13 No.3
Although party polarization is one of the most significant focal points in the study of contemporary US politics, a limited number of studies have examined its theoretical implications for other countries. In addition, a great deal of effort has been made in the study of the changes in voting bases (i.e., constituencies or interest groups). However, little attention has been given to the features of party organization. In this study we look at the process of polarization between two major parties in Japan in recent years and analyze the way Japanese parties took an alternative path to polarization. We argue that party polarization can be caused by the strategic position-taking of the party executive in addition to the centralization of the party organization.
Study on the Development of Two-Stage Centrifugal Blood Pump for Cardiopulmonary Support System
Hironori Horiguchi,Tomonori Tsukiya,Takeshi Nomoto,Toratarou Takemika,Yoshinobu Tsujimoto 한국유체기계학회 2014 International journal of fluid machinery and syste Vol.7 No.4
In the cardiopulmonary support system with an ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation), ahigher pump head is demanded for a blood pump. In order to realize a blood pump with higher pump head, higher anti-hemolysis and thrombosis performances, astudy on the development of unprecedented multistage blood pump was conducted. In consideration of the applicationof the blood pump for pediatric patients, a miniature two-stage centrifugal blood pump with the impeller’s diameter of40mm was designed and the performance was examined in experiments and computations. Some useful knowledge for a design of the blood pump with higher anti-hemolysis and thrombosis performances was obtained.
