<P>Methods of producing Si nanodots embedded in films of silicon oxide and silicon nitride abound, but fabrication of Si nanodots in a nanowire of these materials is very rare despite the fact that nanowire architecture enhances the charge collection and transport efficiencies for solar cells and field-effect transistors. We report a novel fabrication method for a high-density array of size-controlled sillicon nanodots from a silicon oxide nanowire using electron-beam irradiation. Our results demonstrate that a highly dense phase of Si nanodots with a narrow size distribution can be made from a silicon oxide nanowire with a core-shell structure of crystalline silicon-rich oxide (c-SRO)/amorphous silicon oxide (a-SiO(2)). This new nanomaterial shows the carrier transport characteristics of a semiconductor. The initially produced amorphous Si nanodots can be readily turned into crystalline Si (c-Si) nanodots by thermal annealing. Key characteristics of c-Si nanodots such as their size, number density, and rate of nucleation and growth are easily controlled by varying the electron radiation dose and annealing temperature. Nanodot formation is mechanistically initiated by electron trapping at the c-SRO core as well as at the core-shell interface, which leads to out-diffusion of the negatively charged oxygen through Coulomb repulsion, fostering the aggregation of Si atoms.</P>

공공 건축을 위한 커뮤니티 참여 디자인 프로세스에 관한 연구

건축물은 이용자는 물론 그 건축물이 들어서는 지역과 공동체에 영향을 미친다. 지금까지 설계 과정에서 직⋅간접으로 다양한 지역 공동체(커뮤니티)들을 참여시키기 위한 방안이 모색되어 왔으나, 참여의 대상과 수단이 제한적이며 소극적으로 이루어지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 공공건축물의 설계과정에 커뮤니티의 참여를 전제로 체계적인 ‘참여 디자인 프로세스’를 제안 하고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 본 연구의 방법은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 건축분야의 공적 가치와 참여 디자인의 필요성을 강조하기 위해 ‘공공성’과 관련한 문헌(학위 및 학술 논문, 연구 보고서, 단행본)을 고찰 하였다. 둘째, 국내 건축분야에서 참여 디자인의 동향과 프로세스의 문제점을 파악하기 위해 실제 적용 사례를 발표한 10년 이내의 관련 연구 문헌(국내 학위 및 학술 연구 문헌)을 수집(총 30개)하고 내용을 분석하였다. 셋째, 국내 공공 건축을 위한 커뮤니티 참여 디자인의 프로세스와 참여 기법을 제시하기 위해 국외 모범적 참여 디자인 프로세스를 분석하고 국내 적용사례에서 분석된 보편적 경향과 비교하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국내 건축분야에서 참여 디자인의 적용이 특정 시설(교육연구시설)에 편중되어 제한적으로 진행되고 있으며, ‘공공성’에 부합되는 커뮤니티 참여 디자인의 사례가 다양하지 못함을 발견하였다. 둘째, 교육연구시설을 중심으로 참여 디자인 프로세스와 참여 기법이 다양화되고는 있으나 일부 사례를 제외하고는 프로세스의 진행 기준과 기법이 혼재(混在)되어 있음을 발견하였다. 셋째, 국내적용 사례의 분석내용을 종합하고 Henry Sanoff의 참여 디자인 프로세스와 비교하여 국내 공공건축을 위한 커뮤니티 참여 디자인 프로세스(10단계)와 단계별 참여 기법을 체계적으로 제안하였다. Second, the domestic collecting relevant literature(domestic degree and academic literature) within 10 years presentation a practical application example to identify the issues of trends and processes of participatory design in architectural field(total of 30) and analyze the information, It was. Third, in order to present the processes and techniques involved in community participation designed for domestic public architecture analyzing the exemplary participation of foreign design process and compared with the general trend on the domestic application case analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the application of participatory design in the domestic architectural field is concentrated in specific facilities(education research facility) has been limited progress, the case of community involvement designs that meet the "public service" was the inability to find diverse. Second, education and research facilities focusing on participation and participatory design processes and techniques to diversify, but found that, except for some cases and the progress of the process, criteria and techniques are mixed. Third, a comprehensive analysis of domestic cases, and apply the design process as compared to the participation of Henry Sanoff proposed a community participatory design process(step 10), and step-by-step participation scheme for the domestic public architecture systematically.
현대 도시 교회 내부에 나타나는 전이영역에 대한 유형화 연구

교회의 내부 공간 계획에서 친교 및 교육 그리고 지역 봉사 등을 위한 부속실의 다양화와 면적 증가는현대 도시 교회의 주요한 변화이다. 공간 구성의 변화로 인하여 성격이 다른 부속실과 예배영역은 강하게 대립되게 된다. 대립되는 두 영역 사이에서 공간 구성의 자연스러운 변화를 유도하기 위한 전이영역은 내부 공간 계획에서 매우 중요한 의미를 가진다. 그러므로, 본 연구의 목적으로는 바람직한 내부 공간 구성을 제안하기 위하여 전이영역을 대상으로 체계적인 유형화 분석을 하고자 한다. 본 연구의 시기적 범위로는 교회 건축 활동이 활발하게 증가되기 시작한 1980년도 이후에 재건축되거나 신축된 교회로 한정하였다. 지역 및 종교적 범위로는 호남지역 선교의 출발점인 광주광역시의 개신교 교회로 한정하였다. 본 연구의 방법으로는 현존하는 30개 교회를 선정한 후에 도면분석과 방문 조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과로서 전이영역은 각층에 수평과 수직적으로 고루 분포하며, 세밀하게 유형화된다. 현재, 전이영역은 인식의 결여로 인해 미비하게 계획된다. 그러나 다양한 개선을 통하여 전이적 특성의 강조가 가능하다. 더불어, 개별 유형에 대한 경향을 분석하여향후의 발전 방향을 제안하였다. In designing a interior of a church space, the diversification and extension of adjacent rooms for fellowship, education and local volunteering is the main changes of a modern city church. Due to the changes of space composition, adjacent rooms and worship area strongly conflict each other which have opposite characters. Between the two opposing areas, transition area for guiding the natural changes of the space composition, has significant meaning in the interior space planing. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to analyze the systemic typed targeting the transition area to offer a desired internal space composition. The Temporal range of this study is limited to the churches newly built or reconstructed after the 1980 when church architecture was actively increased. The regional and religious range is limited to protestant church in Gwangju metropolitan city which is the starting point of honam area missionary work. Methods of this study was to analyze the drawings and visiting survey after the selection of the 30 churches in existence. As a result of this study, the transition area is distributed evenly in the horizontal and vertical in each floor, the fine-typed. Currently, the transition area is planned to insufficient due to lack of recognition. However, the highlight of the transitive property is possible through a variety of improvements. Moreover, analysis through the tendency for transition area was proposed for future development direction.

Citrus tristeza virus(CTV), an aphid-borne closterovirus, is one of the most destructive pathogens of citrus. It has caused rapid decline in growth, stem pitting and death in citrus trees. A reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay was developed for detection of CTV and investigation of the CTV infection status of citrus and its related cultivars in Cheju island. For RT-PCR based CTV detection, primers were designed to amplify 670bp of coat protein gene. A screening test for CTV in citrus cultivars was conducted from March to July in 1999. Seventy individual citrus trees representing 9 species of 3 genera were tested. The infection rates of CTV for leaves from the years or older trees of late maturing citrus varieties such as Yuzu (C. junos Sieb. ex Tanaka), Navel orange (C.sinensis Osbeck), Kiyomitanger (C. unshiu x C. sinensis), and Shiranuhi ((C. unshiu x C. sinensis) x C. reticulata) were 100%, 80%, 60%, and 60% respectively. The CTV infection rates in Early satsuma mandarins such as 'Miyagawa Early' Satsuma mandarins (C. unshiu Marc. var. Miyagawa) and 'Okitsu Early' Satsuma mandarins (C. unshiu Marc. var. Okitsu) were 100%, and 60%, respectively. CTV was not detected in Cheju native Dangyooja (C. unshiu Marc. var. Osbeck), Trifoliate orange (Poncirus trifoliata) and Kumquat (Fortunella margarita Swingle). In conclusion, RT-PCR assay can be successfully applied to the detection of CTV in citrus trees.
