      • 北漢江 流域의 斜面傾斜 分析과 地形資源

        Quantitative analysis of landforms was studied by Horton(1945), Strahler(1956), Scheidegger(1963) etc. This paper is studied partly in order to analyze mountain slope and clarifies characteristics of its slope in Korea Peninsula. The research method of this study depends on Kim Woo-Gwan(1978, 1979, 1981). The research data is obtained from analysis of 1 : 250,000 topographical map. North Han River basin has an area of 10718.5K㎡, its basin has smaller complete drainage basins(4 in Eastern, 7 in Western). This paper is also studied comparing with bedrocks which is closely related with basin form. The result are as follows: 1. The geology of this study area is mainly composed of Granite and Gneiss complex. The variety of bedrock increases slope, simplicity decreases slope. 2. North Han River has well developed incised meanders and transverse vallies compared with other basins. 3. The mean slope of this study area is 14˚48′, which shows very high relief. 4. The slope which varies from 11˚ to 17˚ occupies 66.4% of drainage basin. 5. The slope of basin is classified as follows: 1st class: 0-5˚ flatness 2nd class: 5-15˚ gentle slope 3rd class: 15-25˚ steep slope 4th class: 25˚ over very steep slope North Han River basin is mainly composed of 2nd and 3rd class(2nd class: 42.1%, 3rd class: 51.3%)

        The writer has studied on the mountain slope up to date and clarifies characteristics of the Yo^ung-san river basin on the topographic map by using morphometrical method in this study. The research method of this study depends on that of Horton(1945), Strahler(1956), Scheidegger(1963) and Kim woo-gwan(1978,1978,1981,1984). The research data is obtained from the analysis of 1:50,000 topographic map. The young-san river basin has an area of 2,823.12km, the basin is composed of 12 small basins; that is, 5 basinslie in the North-eastern slope and 7 basins are in the South-western slope. This paper is comparative study by comparing bedrocks which is closely related with basin forms in each basins. Control factors of drainage basin are; the most important control is rock types, the second in the relative easiness of in filtration of precipitation into the ground surface and the third is the presence of vegetation cover. The results are as follows; * The drainage basin may be divided into two major slopes according to its main stream, one is North-western slope and the other is southeastern slope, the former are subdivided into 12 interbasins, the latter into 9 interbasins(Fig.2) * The geologic condition of this study area is mainly composed of Granites (Masanite, Bulguk-sa granites), Gneiss complex and Sedimentary rocks (Silla group, Nung-ju group). The variety (only 2 or 3 dominance) of bed rock increases slope, the simplicity decreases slope. * In the mountain slope of the Young-san river drainage basin, The average slope is 12.7˚South-eastern slop is 13.06˚, which is higher than North-western slope 12.4˚. the reason is that mountain slope is influenced by geologic conditions. * The mean slope of this study area is 10.7˚, which shows low relief and the slope which varies from 0˚- 11.3˚occupies 66.8% of drainage basin. * The slope of basin is classified as follows; (Tab. 7) 1st class; 0˚∼ 5˚ flantess 30.88% 2nd class; 5˚∼ 15˚ gentle slope 33.75% 3rd class; 15˚∼ 25˚ slolpe 22.78% 4th class; 25˚∼ 35˚ steep slope 10.06% 5th class; 35˚over creep 1.76% The Young-san river drainage basin is mainly composed of 1lst, 2nd and 3rd class (87.4%, tab.8). So the development object range of geomorphological resources is between 1st class and 3rd class and this range (1st class-3rd class) of this study area is larger than that of any other river basins.

        There are many formating factors of the delta. In this study, natural environmental factor was investigated. Tundra, arid, tropical regions based on climatic condition, and types of delta and estuary based on tide condition, ground condition and drainage basin condition, were studied. But future works in deltagraphy are desirable to study on the establishment of deltamodel, drainage area and the influence of landuse change on delta.

      • 전신마취하 제왕절개수술 40례에 있어서의 수술중 각성상태와 수술후 기억현상에 관한 연구

        Background: Wakefulness during Cesarean Section after anesthetic induction has been one of the well known issues of anethesiologists. In literatures, they said different induction agents might bring different results. The author intended to evaluate intraoperative wakefulness and postoperative recall at Dankook University Hospital. Methods: Forty pregnant women (ASA class Ⅰ or Ⅱ) at term who underwent general anesthesia for cesarean section received thiopental. 4㎎/㎏. A pressure tourniquet inflated to 250 ㎜Hg isolated her one arm from the effects of muscle relaxant so that wakefulness during anesthesia could be assessed by asking the patient to move her hand. To assess wakefulness, the patient was commanded to squeeze the investigator's hand a specified number of times. If the patient promptly squeezed the investigator's hand the appropriate number of times, the command was repeated but a different number of times specified. Only if the patient responded correctly both times, then we noted as a positive response. This test was repeated at 1 munute intervals beginning 1 minute after thiopental injection through the delivery. The tourniquet was deflated after the delivery. The author evaluated the postoperative recall by asking about the verbal commands'. Results: 1) Five of the forty patients responded o the verbal commands. 2) Twenty nine patients made the reaching movements. 3) The patients who had followed commands and the others did not have recall. Conclusions: The author concluded that the conservative general anesthetic method for Cesarean Section should be changed to lower the incidence of the intraoperative wakefulness.

      • 榮山江流域의 河系網分析

        This study has analysed on the drainage basin characteristics of the Yo^ung-san river according to the topographic map used by morphometry. Control factors of drainage basin are; First the most important control is rock types, second factors is the relative easiness of infiltration of precipitation into the ground surface and drownward to the water table, and third major factor is the presence or absence of vagetation cover. The stream orders, stream lengths, and drainage area have been investigated through the topographic map in 1 : 50,000. This table is shown up bifurcation ratio, average length, and drainage density by the method of the A.N, Strahler system ordering adapted over the whole basin. The result are as follows; 。The drainage basin may be divided into two major slopes accordong to its mainstream: North-west slopes and South-east slopes, which are again subdivided into 13 and 11 interbasins shown up figure 2. 。In the Yo^ung-san drainage basin, The main stream is found to be 7th order. The average of bifurcation ratio is 3.870, Southeast slope(under 4.00) is higher than North-west slope(over 4.00), and the reason is that stream order is influenced by geologic conditions. These ratio are lower than North Han-river basin (4.25) and Gum-ho river basin (4.07). The average drainage density of Yo^ung-san river basin is 1,126.23m. 。Correlation between order and number which is plotted on the semilog paper shows characteristics of natural streams in the old region.

      • 南漢江流域의 河系網分析

        This study attempts to analyze the drainage system of the Nam-Han River basin with the purpose of examing the characteristics and presenting the data for systematizing rivers in Korea. The Drainage system is analyzed according to Bifurcation ratio and Length ratio. The research is based upon analysis of 1 : 250,000 topographical map coverage. The results are as follows: (1) The main stream is found to be 5th order. The Bifurcation ratio is determined to be 4.95, and the Length ratio, 3.78. These ratio are higher than Nak-Dong and Geum River basin. (2) In view of the above findings, We can recognize that Nam-Han River basin has complicated geologic conditions and it is in the active erosion. (3) Correlation between order and number which is plotted on the semilog paper shows characteristics of natural stream systems. (4) Correlation between order and length expresses that the junction of the 4th order leans to the upper stream.

        As the advant of capnography, anesthesiologists have been better able to measure and detect acute perioperative variations in end-tidal partial pressure of carbon dioxide(ET PCO_2). The auther observed an acute increase in ET PCO_2 after the release pf an extremity tourniquet during orthopedic surgery. We think a sudden increase in PCO_2 may have detrimental effects in certain patients, such as head-injured patients with an elevated intracranial pressure. If these patients undergo orthopedic and other procedures on the extremities with an arterial tourniquet in place, the increased PCO_2 can elevate intracranial pressure. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of tourniquet release on ET PCO_2 measurements in patients undergoing extremity surgery requiring use of a tourniquet.
