      • A Novel Method of Protection of Monitor Link

Guo Hong-tao 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.9 No.1

Automation control systems demand high availability by providing its’ users with reliable and uninterrupted service. Traditional monitor system fails to provide reliable service due to lack of protection of monitor link. It also requires TCP/IP, X.25, E1 and other interfaces to realize monitoring channels such as setting monitored object, reporting status information of monitored call, reporting voice data of monitored call. The organization of the system is very complicated. Besides, some old devices can’t provide all the interfaces. Thus these old devices can’t have access to the lawful interception system. This paper presents a method to provide the ability of monitor link protection under abnormal circumstance. This method offers complete monitor link protection with fewer interfaces. According to the result of experiment and practical application in many countries, the availability and reliability of the interception system have been greatly improved by using this method.

Background: Radiographic guided percutaneous gastrostomy has become a safe and effective enteral nutrition method for patients who can not eat by mouth. Fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT) and cone-beam CT have been routinely used clinically. The aim of this study was to compare the advantages and disadvantages of percutaneous gastrostomy using different radiographic guided methods. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 538 patients undergoing percutaneous gastrostomy in our department. According to the image guidance method used in gastrostomy, the patients were divided into groups A by fluoroscopy guidance, group B by fluoroscopy combined with C-arm CT guidance, and group C with the whole process CT guidance. The gastrostomy success rate, complication rate, procedure time, and patient radiation dose were analyzed in the three groups. Results: Among 538 patients, 534 were successful and the success rates are 94.3%, 99.3%, and 100% in group A, B, and C, respectively (P > 0.05). There were 3 cases occurred postoperative bleeding as serious adverse events and transferred to surgical gastrostomy. The minor complications include local infection, hyperplasia of granulation tissue, tube obstruction or prolapse, and local pain of the ostomy. The minor complication rates were 10.5%, 10.4%, and 7.7% in group A, B, and C, respectively (P > 0.05). The average procedure time was 25.57 ± 5.99 minutes, 29.01 ± 6.63 minutes, and 45.47 ± 8.98 minutes, respectively (χ2 = 87.98, P < 0.001). The average radiation dosage was 27.30 ± 19.27 mGy, 145.07 ± 106.08 mGy, and 2,590.26 ± 1,088.22 mGy, respectively (χ2 = 204.44, P < 0.001). Conclusion: There were no significant differences in the success rates and complication rates of gastrostomy under the three guiding methods. For difficult cases, CT-guided gastrostomy may be a very useful supplemental method.

GUO Hong-Tao 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Smart Home Vol.10 No.5

In embedded system, man-machine command system is the main way for people to use the system. The command in man-machine system often needs upgrade. It is a hard work to upgrade the old command with the new version of the command. A novel man-machine command system proposed in this paper can be used to upgrade the command system in a smooth way. The method comprises: split the embedded system into different operating states, provide two command versions (old version and new version), and attach different privileges according to system operating states and command version. According to the current operating status of the system and the privilege of the command, it is determined whether or not to execute the command and whether or not prompt information about the command to be upgraded should be shown to the user. By using the method proposed in this paper embedded software can be a smooth upgrade. The old version command can continue to use, and the progress of the new version command replacing old version command will be a smooth progress.

      • A Novel Frequency Shift Keyboard Call Simulation Method

Guo Hong-tao 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Vol.9 No.8

Hardware simulation pager usually is very expensive and can only simulate 16 subscriber line or 32 subscriber line. And in FMC (fixed and mobile convergence) system, FSK (frequency shift keying) is used to transfer information between home gateway and the program controlled switch. In this paper, a novel FSK call simulation method to design a pager is proposed to use software to simulate the interaction of FSK between home gateway and the program controlled switch during a normal call procedure, and to meet the demand of the performance and capacity testing of the FMC system. The FSK call simulation includes a back-end management system and a foreground simulation system. And the foreground simulation system consists of MP (module process) module, SP (subscriber process) module, ASIG (analog signal) module, and so on. The MP is the module’s main control process, and it will control the logic of call, and transfer simulation control information between back-end management system and the other modules in the foreground. The SP is the module, in which the FSK call simulation process lying in. And ASIG module can send FSK signal to home gateway, and receive FSK signal from home gateway. The novel FSK call simulation method can test the performance and capacity of the FMC platform by the means of software, and lower the expense of testing.

      • Fast Authentication Method for Wireless Local Area Network

Guo Hong-tao 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.9 No.6

WLAN (wireless local area network) connect the users and the network by using radio frequency signals. It reduces network cabling between the terminals and the network equipment. Thus WLAN has the following benefits: giving end users a great deal of mobility, convenience, saving network cabling project costs. WLAN can share the wireless traffic of 2G or 3G network. But WLAN authentication from the safety and convenience of comprehensive consideration has not been a fine solution. This paper analyzes the various existing problems of authentication used in the field of WLAN. A fast authentication method is proposed in this article considering the character of the terminal user. Compared with existing authentication methods, this method is fast, it improves the system applicability under the comprehensive consideration of accessibility and safety. This method is validated by experiments, so that users can easily access secure WLAN systems.

Astilbin alleviates sepsis-induced acute lung injury by inhibiting the expression of macrophage inhibitory factor in rats

        Hong-bo Zhang,Li-chao Sun,Li-da Zhi,Qian-kuan Wen,Zhi-wei Qi,Sheng-tao Yan,Wen Li,Guo-qiang Zhang 대한약학회 2017 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.40 No.10

Sepsis is a systemic inflammatory responsesyndrome caused by severe infections. Astilbin is a dihydroflavonolderivative found in many medicinal and foodplants with multiple pharmacological functions. To investigatethe effects of astilbin on sepsis-induced acute lunginjury (ALI), cecal ligation and puncture was performed onrats to establish a sepsis-induced ALI model; these ratswere then treated with astilbin at different concentrations. Lung injury scores, including lung wet/dry ratio, proteinleakage, myeloperoxidase activity, and inflammatory cellinfiltration were determined to evaluate the effects ofastilbin on sepsis-induced ALI. We found that astilbintreatment significantly attenuates sepsis-induced lunginjury and improves survival rate, lung injury scores, lungwet/dry ratio, protein leakage, myeloperoxidase activity, and inflammatory cell infiltration. Astilbin treatment alsodramatically decreased the production of inflammatorycytokines and chemokines in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid. Further, astilbin treatment inhibited the expression andproduction of macrophage inhibitory factor (MIF), whichinhibits the inflammatory response. Collectively, these datasuggest that astilbin has a protective effect against sepsisinducedALI by inhibiting MIF-mediated inflammatoryresponses. This study provides a molecular basis for astilbinas a new medical treatment for sepsis-induced ALI.

Metastasis associated genomic aberrations in stage II rectal cancer

        Hong Zhao,Zhi-Zhou Shi,Rui Jiang,Dong-Bing Zhao,Hai-Tao Zhou,Jian-Wei Liang,Xin-Yu Bi,Jian-Jun Zhao,Zhi-Yu Li,Jian-Guo Zhou,Zhen Huang,Ye-Fan Zhang,Jian Wang,Xin Xu,Yan Cai,Ming-Rong Wang,Yu Zhang 한국유전학회 2016 Genes & Genomics Vol.38 No.11

Genomic aberrations of rectal carcinoma, especially DNA copy number changes associated with metastasis were largely unclear. We aim to identify the metastasis associated biomarkers in stage II rectal cancer. Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded primary tumor tissues of stage II rectal carcinoma were analyzed by array-based comparative genomic hybridization, and genomic aberrations were identified by Genomic Workbench and SAM software. Copy number changes and mRNA expressions were validated by Real-time PCR in an independent rectal cancer samples. The results showed that the most frequent gains in stage II rectal cancer were at 1q21.2-q23.1, 3p21.31, 11q12.2-q23.3, 12q24.11-q24.31, 12q13.11-q14.1 and losses in 18q11.2-q23, 17q21.33-q22, 13q31.1-q31.3, 21q21.1-q21.3, 8p23.3-p23.1 and 4q22.1-q23. Twenty-two amplifications and five homozygous deletions were also identified. We further found that S100A1 (1q21.3-q23.1), MCM7 (7q22.1) and JUND (19p13.11) were amplified and overexpressed in stage II rectal cancer. Interestingly, the genomic aberrations affected 14 signaling pathways including VEGF signaling pathway and fatty acid metabolism. Most importantly, loss of 13q31.1-q34 and gain of 1q44 were associated with distant metastasis. Our results indicated that these metastasis associated genomic changes may be useful to reveal the pathogenesis of rectal cancer metastasis and identify candidate biomarkers.

Enhancing mucosal immunity in mice by recombinant adenovirus expressing major epitopes of porcine circovirus-2 capsid protein delivered with cytosine-phosphate-guanosine oligodeoxynucleotides

        Hong-tao Chang,Xiu-yuan He,Yu-Feng Liu,Lu Chen,Quan-hai Guo,Qiu-ying Yu,Jun Zhao,Xin-wei Wang,Xia Yang,Chuan-qing Wang 대한수의학회 2014 Journal of Veterinary Science Vol.15 No.3

A recombinant replication-defective adenovirus expressingthe major epitopes of porcine circovirus-2 (PCV-2) capsidprotein (rAd/Cap/518) was previously constructed and shownto induce mucosal immunity in mice following intranasaldelivery. In the present study, immune responses induced byintranasal immunization with a combination of rAd/Cap/518and cytosine-phosphate-guanosine oligodeoxynucleotides(CpG ODN) were evaluated in mice. The levels ofPCV-2-specific IgG in serum and IgA in saliva, lung, andintestinal fluids were significantly higher in the groupimmunized with rAd/Cap/518 and CpG ODN than animalsimmunized with rAd/Cap/518 alone. The frequencies ofIL-2-secreting CD4+ T cells and IFN-γ-producing CD8+ T cellswere significantly higher in the combined immunizationgroup than mice immunized with rAd/Cap/518 alone. Thefrequencies of CD3+, CD3+CD4+CD8−, and CD3+CD4−CD8+T cells in the combined immunization group were similar tothat treated with CpG ODN alone, but significantly higherthan mice that did not receive CpG ODN. PCV-2 load afterchallenge in the combined immunization group wassignificantly lower than that in the phosphate-buffered salineplacebo group and approximately 7-fold lower in the grouptreated with CpG ODN alone. These results indicate thatrAd/Cap/518 combined with CpG ODN can enhance systemicand local mucosal immunity in mice, and represent apromising synergetic mucosal vaccine against PCV-2.
