On-Line UPS 기능 내장형 ESS 설계 및 적용

본 논문에서는 ESS(Energy Storage System)의 Battery측 DC 전압을 공유하여 기본적인 ESS구성에 On-Line UPS기능을 함께 가지는 Multi-Function ESS를 설계하고, 적용한 기술을 설명 한다. 용량은 PCS 250kW, Battery 190kWh, UPS 125kW용량으로 구성하였으며, UPS는 125kWh 2Set를 이중화하는 구성으로 설계 하였다. On-Line UPS 기능 내장형 ESS 전체 제어는 PMS를 통해 이루어지며, 기본적으로 계통연계(GC), 독립운전(GI), GC와 GI가 센싱을 통해 자동으로 절체되는 Auto Mode 제어 모드를 가지며, TOU Application 운영이 가능하도록 제어기를 구현하였다. 또한 PMS는 Battery SoC를 모니터링하여, 사용자가 ESS와 UPS운영을 필요에 따라 용량을 정의하고 운영할 수 있도록 하였다. 관련기술을 기본/상세 설계 후 제작하여, 기능 및 성능에 대한 시험 검증 후 실제 부하와 연계하여 실증한 사례를 기술 한다.

We recently reported the inhibitory effect of an oral administration of a Sophora flavescens Aiton methanol extract on the development of atopic dermatitis in the NC/Nga model mice. Heme oxygenase (HO)-1 has recently emerged as an important cytoprotective enzyme against oxidative stress and inflammatory responses in many cell types. The aim of this study was to investigate the possible mechanism by which prenylated chalcone (PC, 7,9,2',4'-tetrahydroxy-8-isopentenyl-5-methoxychalcone), a natural product isolated from S. flavescens, inhibited cytokine-induced Th2 chemokine expression in human keratinocytes, HaCaT cells. The level of chemokine expression was measured by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and HO-1 study was performed by Western blot analysis. Interferon-${\gamma}$ (IFN-${\gamma}$) and tumor necrosis factor-${\alpha}$ (TNF-${\alpha}$)-induced thymus- and activation-regulated chemokine (TARC/CCL17), macrophage-derived chemokine (MDC/CCL22), cutaneous T-cell attracting chemokine (CTACK/CCL27) expression in a dose-dependent manner. Interestingly, PC significantly suppressed IFN-${\gamma}$ and TNF-${\alpha}$-induced TARC/CCL17, MDC/CCL22 and CTACK/CCL27 expression via the induction of heme oxygenase (HO)-1. This suppression was completely restored by HO-1 siRNA, suggesting a direct role of HO-1 for the suppressive effect. Furthermore, exogenous CO, but not other end products of HO-1 activity, also suppressed IFN-${\gamma}$ and TNF-${\alpha}$-induced TARC/CCL17, MDC/CCL22 and CTACK/CCL27 expression. These results demonstrate that prenylated chalcone induces HO-1 expression, which in turn HO-1 and/or CO suppresses Th2 chemokine expressions induced by cytokines in human HaCaT cells.

Background: Angiotensin type II receptor blockers (ARBs) are the most widely used antihypertensive drugs. This study aimed to elucidate the likelihood and pattern of ARB-induced liver injury in a hospital-based cohort. Methods: Data of patients receiving fimasartan (n = 5,543), candesartan (n = 6,406), valsartan (n = 6,040), and losartan (n = 9,126) were retrieved from the clinical data warehouse of two tertiary hospitals. Patients with alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels > 5 times the upper normal limit were assessed according to the Roussel Uclaf Causality Assessment Method (RUCAM). Results: A total of 27,115 patients were enrolled, including 14,630 (54.0%) men, with a mean age of 64.6 years (standard deviation, 13.6). During 31,717 person-years of ARB therapy, serum ALT levels > 120 IU/L were found in 558 (2.1%) person-years, and levels > 200 IU/L were found in 155 (0.6%) person-years. The incidence of ALT elevation > 120 IU/L per 106 cumulative defined daily doses was 6.6, 3.6, 3.9, and 4.0 in the fimasartan, candesartan, valsartan, and losartan groups, respectively (P = 0.002). An ALT level > 200 IU/L with RUCAM score ≥ 6 was found in 20 patients, suggesting probable drug-induced liver injury for 11 (0.2%) patients receiving fimasartan, five (0.1%) receiving candesartan, four (0.1%) receiving valsartan, and none receiving losartan (P < 0.001). Conclusion: Approximately 2% of patients receiving ARB therapy had significant ALT elevation (4.24/106 cumulative defined daily doses [cDDDs]), which was associated with probable ARB-related liver injury in 0.07% of patients (0.15/106 cDDDs). Elevation of ALT was more commonly associated with fimasartan than the other ARBs. Clinicians should be aware of the possibility of ARB-related ALT elevation in patients with unexplained chronic abnormal ALT.

Polyamines are well known as important molecular compounds for many biochemical processes in animals and plants. The function of biogenic polyamine has been especially well studied for its role in the oxidative system and the protection of membranes from peroxidation in cells. We investigated the polyamine contents of fluke babsikhae and isolated polyamine-producing lactic acid bacteria (LAB) to improve the probiotic antioxidative function of the Korean traditional fermented food, fluke babsikhae. In the present study, first we confirmed that fluke babsikhae possesses more antioxidative molecules compared to the other antioxidative vegetable (Korean radish) and ascorbic acid by using the method of peroxide value (POV). Secondly polyamines, which are considered as antioxidative molecules, were detected in fluke babsikhae using thin layer chromatography (TLC) and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). In order to improve the probiotic function of fluke babsikhae, LABs were isolated from the fermented food, and these isolated microbes were tentatively identified as Lactobacillus brevis strain bh3 and Lactobacillus sp. using 16S rRNA sequencing. Polyamine was produced from these two strains and also was confirmed to have antioxidative activity. Especially Lactobacillus sp. was shown to produce high amounts of putrescine. Therefore, this strain can be considered as a starter to improve the probiotic function of fluke babsikhae. According to the results, fluke babsikhae will be a good candidate for a healthy functional food and also isolated LAB will be considered as a starter for probiotics by bioconversion.
