The acceleration of environmental pollution and global warming has resulted in increased environmental awareness and regulations to reduce carbon emissions. As the automotive industry is evolving from internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to electric vehicles (EVs) and urban air mobility (UAM), composites have gained attraction for increased driving range and green mobility. However, composites, acclaimed to be an alternative to metals for its reduced weight and high mechanical properties, have not achieved successful mass adoption due to the tradeoff in performance and cost. While legislation is continuously being updated to tackle environmental concerns, automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) have been hesitant to apply composite technology to mainstream vehicles, largely due to economic reasons. Therefore, latest developments have been focused on application of biodegradable composites and integration of robotic automation into composite manufacturing processes for eco-friendly, sustainable, cost-effective production. This paper reviews the latest applications of composite materials into modern vehicles and evaluates state of the art of composite manufacturing and recycling processes for green mobility.

Efficient market hypothesis implies that the past price movements do not help forecast future price movements. Thus, it is impossible to consistently benefit by a technical trading strategy. On the other hand. technical analysts claim that the historical price movements are useful in predicting future price movements. These two lines of arguments are mutually contradictory. This paper reasonably assumes that the more efficient markets are, the worse will be the investment performance of technical analysis, and that as financial market`s trading volume grows and with the elapse of time, the efficiency of markets should improve. This implies that after the launch of a new financial asset, market efficiency would improve with increased trading and elapsed time. In this paper, the duration analysis technique is used as a forecasting model and applied to measure the efficiency of Korean futures market and the won/dollar exchange rate market.
Effects of Polydopamine Coating on the Bioactivity of Titanium for Dental Implants

The effect of polydopamine coated titanium such as surface roughness, wettability, cell growth and toxicity, and corrosion resistance. The polydopamine-coated titanium was successfully prepared from dopamine solution and bright polydopamine granules were randomly distributed on titanium surface after coating process. The surface roughness was not significantly decreased in the pure titanium (P>0.05), but significantly decreased (P<0.05) in the spark anodized titanium after the dopamine coating treatment. The contact angle of polydopamine-coated titanium surface was found to be lower than that of the untreated titanium surface. At the potentiodynamic polarization corrosion test, polydopamine-coated titanium has better corrosion-resistance than untreated titanium. The resistance of cytotoxicity is decreased by dopamine coating surface treatment (P<0.05). Findings from this research suggested that polydopamine coating offer a versatile approach for the titanium surface modification.

The experimental work is performed to obtain content levels and characteristics of flue gas in infrared mobile heaters for butane gas with varying the chamber size and its room temperature. The results showed that the oxygen depletion sensor device is operated at 18.3% of oxygen content. And the relation of oxygen content and carbon dioxide content in an enclosed space show linear aspect, but the content rate of carbon monoxide occurs at random without the level of oxygen content and carbon dioxide content.
