Today human needs for health promotion and maintenance are increasing. The nursing progression has a great responsibility for helping clients to practice good health behavior. self efficacy was found to be potent predictor in initiating and maintaining the health-related behavior. Therefore, the concept is important in nursig intervention for change of health behavior. The purpose of this paper was to analyze and clarify the meaning of the concept, self efficacy. This study used Walder & Avant's process of concept analysis. Critical attributes of self efficacy were : 1) positive perception of his won capability; 2) intrapersonal strength; 3) possibility of being learned; 4) individuality; 5) specificity; 6) generalizability. Antecedents of self efficacy consist of those facts that 1) new situation occurs; 2) individuals have needs to change the new situation; 3) there are some required actions in new situation. Consequences occurring as a result of self efficacy consist of those facts that 1) individual initiates the of failure; 5) cope with the situation; 6) controls the situation; 7) the level of self efficacy is enhanced; 8) the level of self-esteem is enhanced.

Panaxadiol계 Glycoside가 Rat의 Sugar Metabolism에 미치는 영향

The effect of panaxadiol glycoside purified by ginseng radix on the sugar metabolism in rats, A slight decrease of the glycogen content was seen 2hr after treatment. The maximun decrease in the hepatic glycogen content was seen 8hr after treatment. The content had nearly recovered to the control level 24hr after treatment. There was a drastic increase in the glucose-6-phosphate level at 8hr. The level was still high 12ht after the treatment, but the increase was no longer significant after 24hr. In contrast, glucose, pyruvate, and lactate content in the liver, showed no appreciable changes after treatment. The activity of hepatic glucose-6-phosphatase, a ratelimiting enzyme of gluconeogenesis, was decreased by panaxadiol glycoside reaching the minimum 8hr after the treatment, but had almost recovereed to the control level 24hr after the treatment. A significant decrease was also observed in the level of glucokinase. The activity of hepatic phosphofructokinase, a rate-limiting enzyme of glycolysis was increased from 4 to 8hr after the treatment.

Uremic Rat에 있어서의 桑寄生의 Renal Blood flow 및 Blood pressure에 대한 효과

The effect of Viscum colortum extract on renal tissue blood flow and blood pressure was investigated in rats made uremic by feeding an adenine containg diet. Administration of the Viscum colortum extract to rats significantly increased renal tissue blood flow by 34∼38% on days 12th and 24th d. respectively. Blood pressure measured by tail cuff method was significantly decreased by 3∼8% on the 6th, 12th, 18th and 24th d.

Panaxadiol계 Glycoside가 Rat의 Lipogenic pathway에 미치는 영향

The effect of Panaxadiol Glycoside purified by Ginseng Radix on the lipid metabolism was studied in rats. The first phenomenon observed was a stimulation of Glucose-6-phesphate dehydrogenase activity beginning 4hr after the administration of panaxadiol glycoside. At this time a slight increase of acetylcoenzyme A carboxylase activity was observed, and a significant increase was noted 16hr after the treatment. The maximum increase in malic enzyme activity was observed at 12hr. An increase in the lypolytic activity of lipoprotein lipase was observed 4hr after the intraperitoneal administration of panaxadiol glycoside, reaching a maximum 16hr after the treatment, while a repressive effect was observed on hormone-sensitive lipase activity throughout the experimental period. Administration of panaxadiol glycoside to rats also increased the triglyceride content in adipose tissue. These results suggest that panaxadiol glycoside brings about the acumulation of triglyceride in adipose tissue as a result of its stimulating action on the lipogenic pathway. c

桑枝 Extract가 Normal Rat의 Renal Effect에 미치는 영향

The renal effect of Morus bombycis Radix extract was investigated in normal rats. A single intraperitoneal administration of the extract significantly increased of urine volume and urinary excretion of urea and creatinine. The extract also induced natriuretic, kaliuretic and phosphaturic responses.

하수오 추출물이 고혈당증 흰쥐에 미치는 영향

The hypolycemic activity of Polygonum multiflorum extract was investigated in both normal and streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. The maximum decrease of blood glucose in normal rat was seen at 4hr after administered with 800mg/kg Polygonum multiflorum extract from 145±5mg /100ml to 101±12mg/100ml and also decreased significantly the blood glucose in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rat at 4hr after treated with 400mg/kg Polygonum multiflorum extract from 489±8mg/100ml to 313±6mg/100ml. The hypoglycemic effects were not accompanied by any alteration in the serum insulin in this investigation. Polygonum multiflorum extract decrease the blood glucose on epiniphrine-induced hyperglycemia in rats.

秋石에 關한 硏究 (Ⅴ) : 조협의 꼬투리의 成分에 關하여 Sapogenins and Crude Saponine of Gleditschia Officinalis

To isolate Crude Saponins from pods of Gleditschia officinalis. Contents of Crude Saponins was about 18%. Seven Spots were found on TLC plate treated with 0.5N oxalic acid, in Crude Saponins obtainede from pod's of Gleditscnia-officinalis. Two Crystals (Oleanolic acid, Echinocystic acid) as minor Components and unconformed compound C were isolated from the acid hydrolisate of Crude Saponins by silica Gel column chromatographic purification. About 5.2% of Crude Sapogenins were obtained and nearly 3.3% of them is Oleanolic acid and Echinocystic acid. The contents of Oleanolic acid and Echinocystic acid were represented at the ratio of 1:2. The ratio of Intensities of two peaks at υ2900cm^-1 and υ3400cm^-1 (υ3400cm^-1/υ2900cm^-1×100)is about 50% and 75.3% in Oleanolic acid and Echinocystic acid respectively.

This Study is to know personal ploblems thoughout case study of life-time management for elderly woman who lives alone. This sample is consisted of the woman who is 70 years in Ik-San rural province. This study was using Case Study Method. The Results of this study are as follows ; She was free for 24 ours a day. And her day was not usually planned. Physiological time was 8:15 include sleep time, and free time was 9:00, household work time was 4:45, rural work was 2:00 ; total work time was 6:45. Because she had more time for a work, most of free time was spend for relaxing.

下體部의 動作에 따른 Slacks의 製作時 여유분량에 관한 硏究

To establish a marginal part of slacks in accordance with motion and habitus, I hereby classified the married woman in their thirties by three habitus : thin, standard, and fat. Then affer selecting a standard classified by each habitus I studied the variation of body surface and the cross-cut method. I accordingly conducted a functional test by making a standard clothes of which the reasonable marginal parts-1cm, 1.5cm, 2cm, 2.5cm-had been established. The results of the test are as follows; 1. Concerning the variation of body surface, the variation rate increased when the habitus became bigger, and the width of variation did when the radius of the articutation movement became larger. The widthe of increase classified by parts showed a considerable increase in Hip Girth, Thigh Girth, and Midle Waist Girth-the horizontal items-of habitus A, B, C. In the vertical items, Back Line, Front Line and Center Back Line showed a considerable increase. But Later Line showed a constraction in all movements. When marking proper slacks, the establishment of marginal part of Hip Girth in accordance with the habitus should be considered. 2. Concerning the analysis of space variation of cross-cut, the space variation increased when the movement became larger and the habitus became bigger. 3. As a result of the comparison between the variation of body surface and the space variation in Cross-cut method, the variation was remarkable when the movement became larger, and the length of slacks became longer. But when putting on clothes, the Cross-cut method having a restriction on articulation movement showed a considerable variation in measures. In consideration of the a fore-mentioned results, when making clothes, the establishment of marginal part, which took the fact that there is an interrelation between movement and wearing clothes because the restriction on articulation causes the decrease in a radius of movement when wearing clothes into serious consideration, is necessary. 4. The result of functional test; Habitus A : The test clothes having marginal part of 1㎝ was rated good, getting 4.74marks in appearance test, 4.36marks in functional test. Habitus B : The test clothes having marginal part of 1.5cm was also rated good, getting 4.88marks in appearance test, 4.42marks in functional test. Habitus C : The test clothes having marginal part of 2cm was rated best, getting 4.70marks in appearance test. The test clothes having marginal part of 2.5cm got 4.30marks in functional test. In conclusion the establishment of marginal part of 0.5 to 1㎝ universally applicable in making a standard slacks causes the married women in their thirties to feel inconvenience on the parts of Center Front Line, Hip and Belly in functional and beautiful in silhouette as possible, the appropriate establishment of marginal parts assified by each habitus in essential.

Chu-suk is a drug manufactured from human urine which has been used as a tonic in Chinese medicine since Sung dynasty. Though it's origin is organic it is usually included in the domain if mineral drugs on account of it's salt-like appearance. In this study, six different kinds of manufacturing process were examined and the resulting preparations were described in terms of crystalline form, solubility, density, yield and contents of metallic elements.
