Gaussian Apodization Technique in Holographic Demultiplexer Based on Photopolymer
Do, Duc-Dung,An, Jun-Won,Kim, Nam,Lee, Kwon-Yeon Optical Society of Korea 2003 Current Optics and Photonics Vol.7 No.4
In this paper, a Gaussian apodization technique applied to a transmission volume hologram for holographic demultiplexer is proposed. The Gaussian apodized grating of 15 mm ${\times}$ 11mm size, $38{\mu}m$ thickness and 3.2 mm horizontal standard deviation of the Gaussian index modulation profile was fabricated. A 22-channel demultiplexer based on that grating has been optically demonstrated. The channel spacing, the interchannel cross-talk level and the channel uniformity of 0.8 nm, -30 dB and 1.5 dB, respectively, were obtained.
Apodization technique in photopolymer using three-bean method
Do, Duc-Dung,Kim, nam 충북대학교 컴퓨터정보통신 연구소 2005 컴퓨터정보통신연구 Vol.13 No.3
In this paper, we present a novel apodization technique using three beams to fabricate an apodized grating in photopolymer. An orthogonal-polarization beam used to control the saturated modulation amplitude of the grating is added during recording time. As a result of the experiment, holographic apodized gratings with uniform, inverse Gaussian, and triangular profiles are fabricated successfully in DuPont's HRF-150-38 photopolymer.
Cascaded volume holographic gratings for expanding the channel number of an optical demultiplexer
Do, Duc-Dung,Kim, Nam,An, Jun-Won 충북대학교 컴퓨터정보통신 연구소 2006 컴퓨터정보통신연구 Vol.14 No.3
In this paper, the demonstration of a 130-channel demultiplexer based on the cascaded volume holographic gratings is presented. Those gratings are recorded separately in 100-㎛ thickness photopolymer films, which are attached on both sides of a glass substrate. They have different grating periods, slant angles, and center wavelengths. As a result of the experiment, a 0.4-nm-spaced demultiplexer with the channel uniformity of 3.5 dB, the 3dB-bandwidth of 0.12nm, and the channel crosstalk of-20 dB is experimentally achieved.
Fabrication of apodized grating in photopolymer using SLM
Do, Duc-Dung,Kim, Jung-Ho,Kim, nam 충북대학교 컴퓨터정보통신 연구소 2004 컴퓨터정보통신연구 Vol.12 No.3
In this paper, the process of fabricating apodized gratings in DuPont's HRF-150-38 photopolymer is presented. By the use of a Spatial Light Modulator (SLM) to control the recording beam intensities, the nonlinear sensitivity of the material at low recording intensities is compensated. Therefore, the grating whose profile exactly matches Gaussian function is created easily and flexibly. As the result of the experiment, a Gaussian grating of 2.7±0.02mm standard deviation is recorded at 0.3mW/㎠ recording intensity after exposure of 300 seconds.
A holographic demultiplexer based on gaussian apodized volume grating
Do, Duc-Dung,An, Jun-Won,Kim, Nam 충북대학교 컴퓨터정보통신 연구소 2004 컴퓨터정보통신연구 Vol.11 No.3
In this paper, an optical demonstration of a 42-channel demultiplexer based on the Gaussian apodized grating is presented. It is shown that using the apodized grating suppresses the side lobes of the spectral response down to -35 dB. As the result of the experiment, the interchannel spacing, the interchannel cross-talk level, and the channel uniformity of 0.4 nm, -30 dB, and 1.5 dB, respectively, are obtained.

The design and demonstration of a holographic optical demultiplexer based on cascaded volume holographic gratings are presented. By serially adding a second holographic grating, which has a different grating period, slant angle, and center wavelength compared with those of the first grating, the operating wavelength range of the optical demultiplexer could be expanded, and, therefore, the number of channels of the holographic demultiplexer is doubled. As a result of the experiment, a 0.4 nm spaced 130- channel demultiplexer with a channel uniformity of 3.5 dB, a 3 dB bandwidth of 0.12 nm, and channel cross talk of -20 dB is experimentally achieved.

The research aims to investigate the impact levels of determinants on the conversion of financial statements from Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS) to International financial reporting standards (IFRS) in the multinational firms in Vietnam. The method of data collection was done through the survey and subjects are accountants in Multinational Firms doing business in Hanoi and ten neighboring provinces. After checking the information on the votes, there are 170 questionnaires with full information for data entry and analysis. We use Cronbach‟s Alpha, EFA analysis and run regression model to investigate the impact levels of each independent variable on dependent variable of the conversion of VAS financial statements to IFRS. The results show that five determinants including Economic, Politics, Law, Culture, and Conditions for implementation have positive relationships with the conversion of VAS financial statements to IFRS. In particular, Economic determinant is the most strongest. Based on the findings, some recommendations are given for improving the conversion of VAS financial statements to IFRS of multinational firms doing business in the context of Vietnam. The results are considered a useful reference for firms when making financial statements to transparently change the financial statement information and improve the quality of financial statement information.

Vu Duc Nam,Fujimatsu Teruhisa,Takigawa Hirofumi,Kusuoku Hiroshi,Nguyen Minh Khoi,Le Viet Dung,Do Thi Ha,Hashimoto Hiroshi 한국생약학회 2016 Natural Product Sciences Vol.22 No.1
The first study on chemical constituents and biological activities of Clausena lansium (Lour.) Skeels (Rutaceae) growing in Vietnam has been done. Phytochemical investigation of n-hexane extract led to the isolation of five compounds: dihydroindicolactone (1), 8-geranyloxy psoralen (2), imperatorin (3), heraclenol (4) and indicolactone (5), in which this is the first report on the presence of dihydroindicolactone (1). Their structures were elucidated based on LC/MS/NMR hyphenated techniques as well as comparison with those of literature data. The n-hexane extract and its subfractions, ethanol 95% extract and several isolated compounds were evaluated for antifungal activity.
