The present study attempted to investigate the effects of the Seo Dongil's voice technique on voice quality in patients with sulcus vocalis. Three patients participated in the study. Fo, jitter, shimmer, and NNE were measured before and after implementing the technique to determine the efficacy. Dr. Speech was used to compare the acoustic parameters. The Seo Dongil's voice technique consisted of relaxation, breathing, and phonation exercises. The result showed that the Seo Dongli's voice technique tended to improve voice quality acoustically in patients with sulcus vocalis.
2.5 Gbit/s Direct Pulse Modulation of a Gain-Switched DFB Semiconductor Laser

We report the experimental results of return-ta-zero direct pulse modulation of a gain-switched DFB semiconductor laser using a 2²³-1 pseudo-random bit sequence at a data rate of 2.5 Gbit/s. The effects of change in drive conditions on the eye diagrams of the outputs are investigated to determine the optimum operating conditions. At the optimum conditions, clear eye opening is observed and the modulated pulses show very similar characteristics to those of the same gain-switched pulses, which ensure the pattern independent, penalty-free operation of the laser.

탄소나노튜브는 좋은 전기 기계적 및 열적 특성을 가진 복합 재료 분야에서 가장 이상적인 나노 충전재이다. 따라서 탄소나노튜브의 복합 재료는 전도성 재료, 고강도를 가지면서 가벼운 무게를 가지는 재료에 이용된다. 탄소나노튜브 복합재료의 주요 문제점은 탄소나노튜브의 나쁜 분산에 있다. 본 연구에서는 다중벽 탄소나노튜브(MWNT)를 물리적 방법으로 전처리하였다. 전처리 후, 고분자/MWNT nanocomposites는 용해 공정에 의해 분산되었다. 물리적 방법은 고 분자 wrapping 방법에 의해 준비되었다. ABS/MWNT 복합 재료의 기계적 및 전기적 특성을 SAN과 함께 wrapping된 MWNT와 미처리된 MWNT와 혼합된 ABS의 속성을 비교하여 연구하였다. MWNT가 wrapping된 복합체의 인장강도는 증가하였으나 충격강도는 감소한 수치를 보였다. 전기적 물성의 향상에는 미처리시료와 비교해 볼 때 큰 효과가 없었다. Carbon nanotubes (CNT) are considered as one of ideal nano-fillers in the field of composites with their excellent electrical, mechanical, and thermal properties. Therefore CNT composites are increasingly used in fabricating conductive materials, structural materials with high strength and low weight, and multifunctional materials. The main problem of the CNT composites is difficulty in the dispersion of CNT in the polymer matrix. In this study multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNT) were pretreated by the physical process utilizing a wrapping method. After the pretreatment polymer/MWNT nanocomposites were prepared by melt processing. The effect of functionalization MWNT by wrapping with styrene acrylonitrile (SAN) on the mechanical and electrical properties of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene resin (ABS)/MWNT composites was studied by comparing the properties of ABS mixed with the neat MWNT. Electrical and mechanical properties of ABS/MWNT nanocomposites were studied as a function of the functionalization and content of MWNT. The tensile strength of the ABS/MWNT nanocomposites increased, but the impact strength decreased. The polymer wrapping in ABS system has little effect on the improvement of electrical properties.
전침 자극에 의한 오디 괄약근 운동성 변화에 관한 연구

N/A Background/Aims: This study was designed to evaluate the effects of electroacupuncture on the sphincter of Oddi (SO) motility in humans and to correlate the manometric findings with plasma cholecystokinin (CCK) levels. Methods: Eleven patients (M: F= 5: 6) who had various kinds of biliary disorders were enrolled. SO motility was monitored with a conventional low-compliant continously perfused technique using ERCP (n=9) or percutaneous transhepatic cholangioscope (n 2). After baseline monitoring for phasic wave contractions of SO, electroacupuncture was applied at a specific acupoint, GB 34, in these 11 patient.. A nonspecific acupoint 5 cm away from GB 34 was selected as a control. Manometric parameters of SO were also checked in 6 subjects during stimulation of the control acupoint. CCK plasma levels were measured during the time course of electroacupuncture stimulation, Results: All the manometric parameters including the basa1 pressure of SO, amplitude, frequency and duration of phasic wave contraction of SO were significantly decreased (p< 0.05) during electroacupuncture stimu1ation. The inhibition of SO contractility was accompanied by increased CCK plasma levels. After removal of electroacupuncture stimulation, restoration of amplitude and duration to basal condition were noted. A tendency towards the return of SO contractility was also observed in basal pressure and frequency. Stimulation of the control acupoint, however, did not affect the SO contractility and plasma CCK levels. Conclusions: Electroacupuncture stimulation of acupoint GB 34 showed reversible inhibition of SO contraction in humans. We speculate that the response of SO to electroacupuncture stimulation may be mediated by some neurohormonal mechanisms including CCK release. 최근의 해킹 동향은 네트워크 상의 대역폭을 목표로 하는 트래픽 폭주 공격이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 반면 이러한 위협으로부터 네트워크 내의 공격 트래픽을 추출하는 기술은 아직 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 네트워크 서비스 제공을 위협하는 트래픽을 추출하는 방법을 제시하고, DDoS 공격을 효과적으로 탐지하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. The recent hacking trend is a traffic flooding attack against a bandwidth in the network grows more and more. On the other hand, technology, which extracts attack traffic in the network from these threats, is still short. Therefore, we propose methodology which can measure traffic that threaten network services, and algorithm which can detect DDoS attacks effectively.
