      • 베스트셀러 變化의 推移와 그 脈絡에 關한 硏究 : 韓國의 最近 10年間 베스트셀러를 中心으로

        A best-seller means a book which has been sold sensationally in a quite short period, which can be substituted by such expressions like 'a large circulation', ' a book which has been sold so much' or 'a marvelous sales result which go beyond average'. A similar term, 'steady-seller' is usually used when a book is sold continuously throughout some period and there are other similar terms such as 'long-seller', 'big-seller', 'top-seller' of 'million-seller' used differently by debaters. Above all an author's individual competence and a work's basic attribute becomes the key point which mostly influences the birth of a best-seller. Another primary factors, 'the circumstantial one', which shows how correctly it reflected the social circumstances and the 'publishing industrial structure' when a best-seller is created not achieved, play important roles in the generation of a best-seller as well. And another best-seller can appear when it becomes a hot issue by the mass media or the advertising strategy succeeds regardless of its contents. So the publicshing planning can be another primary factor in the birth of a best-seller besides the factors of work, circumstance, publishing industrial structure. Compared to the current best-sellers, the past ones were made naturally among the general public while the recent one is the artificial product which is planned and induced from the planning stage to the sales. As a result of the research on the changes of the authors, themes (divisions), publishing companies, titles, and years of the best-sellers in domestic famous book stores. the aspects of the changes were summarized as being diversified, open, and being more scientific. Compared to the previous periods, in 1990s the readers chose books according to their own tastes among politically, economically and socially affluent circumstances. Also with globalization people became more interested in foreign travels and more eager to accept foreign cultures and languages, which promoted more book purchasing. Especially social psychology facing year 2000, the rapid development of the computers, and the revolutional development of the information technology stirred people's interests and brought various kinds of changes. A best-seller plays an positive role such as an useful channel of information to the readers, as a stimuli to the production of the books of good quality, and as a pride to the people involved in publishing industry while it has also some negative aspects such as reckless commercialization of the publishing industry, distortion of the distribution structure, and incitement of the reader's biased reading habits. Thus to reborn as a real best-seller in Kroea, POS(point of sales) system, and the real-name usage system should be settled to establish the dignity of the publishing industry as well as the critics who can diagnose the quality of the books professionally should be cultivated. When only such a book as coincides with the certain standards is selected as a best-seller, more books which is valuable as a cultural product can be produced.

      • Irbesartan과 Lercanidipine의 병용요법이 고혈압 및 혈관재형성에 미치는 효과

        Hypertension is one of the major risk factor for cardiovascular disease and can lead to or make worse many complications, heart disease, atherosclerosis and diabetes. Thus, managing blood pressure effec tively using therapeutic drugs such as angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) and Ca2+ channel blocker (CCB) can be prevent other complications. Therefore, we investigated the synergistic effect of these two drugs, ir besartan and lercanidipine, for antihypertension, cardioprotection and antidiabetes. Irbesartan (28.74 mg/kg, 14.37 mg/kg) or lercanidipine (1.92 mg/kg, 0.96 mg/kg) alone or combination was administered to sponta-neously hypertensive rats (SHRs) and C57BL/6 mice. A two-week treatment of combination with irbesartan and lercanidipine significantly attenuated systolic blood pressure (SBP) and mean arterial pressure (MAP) compared with monotherapy. Futhermore. the combination therapy protected myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury more effectively than monotherapy. In vascular remodeling, combination therapy significantly diminished cuff -induced neointima formation and reduced serum -indllced vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) pro-liferation compared with monotherapy. However, combination therapy had no significant synergistic effect of blood glucose regulation. Taken together, present study suggest that the combination therapy of irbesartan and lercanidipine may be more effective therapeutic strategy for the treatment of hypertension and related complications, myocardial infarction and arterial restenosis than monotherapy

      • 신경회로망을 이용한 자동 조정 서보제어기

        Conventional PID gain-tunning methods such as a Zigler-Nichols method and the relay feedback method, have many problems, so the optimal controller’s gains should be tuned by using try and error methods. In this paper, modified PID-type controllers which include self-tunning characteristics are pro-posed. Proposed controllers automatically tune the PID gains using neural network, and neural network compensators in proposed controllers have the robust properties against presence of disturbance. A modified learning scheme was also proposed for improving learning speed in neural networks and satisfying the real time condition. Computer simulation were performed to show the usefulness of proposed controllers in case of brushless DC motor control. As shown in result of computer simulations, proposed controllers have good performances and robust properties even though disturbance exists.

        하악 이부확장 시 하악골 이동 양상과 응력 분포에 관한 삼차원 유한요소법적 연구

        하악 이부확장에서 골 절단선의 위치 및 종류와 견인 장치의 종류에 따른 차이를 알아보고자 삼차원 유한요소법으로 하악골의 이동 양상 및 응력 분포를 조사하였다. 골 견인장치의 종류로는 치아 의존형과 골 의존형, 혼합형, 30˚ 기울여 위치한 치아 의존형의 4가지를, 골절단 위치와 방법으로 하악 중절치 간 수직절단과 하악 정중이부를 관통하는 계단식 골절단 등의 2가지를 설정하였다. 연구 결과, 골절단의 위치 및 방법과 견인장치의 종류에 관계없이 과두를 포함한 하악골의 모든 부위에서 외측방 변위를 보였으며 상하적이나 전후방적 변위는 적은 양이었으나 방향에 있어 군간에 차이를 보였다. 치아 의존형 장치에 의한 골절단면 이개 양태는 V형이었으나 골 의존형 장치는 역V형이고 혼합형 장치는 평행하게 확장되었다. 골 의존형 장치에 의한 하악각의 외측 변위량이 다른 장치에 비해 컸다. 30˚ 기울여 위치한 치아 의존형에서의 변위는 측방적, 전후방적 면에서 좌우 차이가 인정되었다. Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the displacement pattern and the stress distribution of the finite element model 3-D visualization during symphyseal widening according to the osteotomy position, osteotomy type, and distraction device. Methods: The kinds of distraction devices used were tooth-borne type, hybrid type, bone-borne type and tooth-borne type 30˚ angulated, and the kinds of osteotomy design were vertical osteotomy line between the central incisors and step osteotomy line through the symphysis. Results: All reference points of the mandible including the condyles were displaced laterally irrespective of the osteotomy position, osteotomy method and distraction device. The anteroposterior or vertical displacements showed small differences between the groups. The widening pattern of the osteotomy line in the tooth-borne type of device was v shaped, and that of bone-borne type was a reverse v shape. However, the pattern in the hybrid type was parallel. The lateral displacement of the mandibular angle by the bone-borne device was more remarkable than the other types of devices. The displacement by the 30˚ angulated tooth-borne type was different between the left and right sides in both the transverse and anteroposterior aspects. Conclusion: The design of the distraction devices and osteotomy line can influence the displacement pattern and the stress distribution during mandibular symphyseal distraction osteogenesis procedures.

        This paper is master plan for pet memorial space lacking of social-understanding and legislation. Therefore instances of domestic and foreign country and investigation of laws are studied, also memorial space of human is studied for pet-memorial space is not to be planned as a cremation ground and crypt. Also, research on pet related business has a connection with this plan. As problem of reasonableness of business, this paper is planned pet memorial space with other pet business. But according to domestic social-condition is advanced, pet memorial park of large scale will be constructed.

      • HMG-CoA 환원효소 억제제에 의한 ICAM-1 유전자의 발현조절

        Background : ICAM-1 act as one of major adhesion molecules in the atherosclerotic lesion. ICAM-1 expression is mainly regulated at the level of transcription and depend on IFN-γ signal transduction pathway in which the STAT1 transcrption factor is a critical intermediate. IFN-γreceptor not only initiates tyrosine 701 phosphorylation of STAT1 by Jak1 and Jak2, but also phosphorylates serine 727 through the activation of Raf-1/MAP kinases. HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors have anti-atherosclertic effects, beyond normalization of hypercholesterolemia, by directly acting on endothelial cells, macrophages and vascular smooth muscle cells. HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors suppress the synthesis of isoprenoid intermediates such as geranylgeranyl-pyrophosphate or farnesylpyrophosphate. These effects results inhibitors suppress the synthesis of isoprenoid intermediates such as geranylgeranyl-pyrophosphate or farnesylpyrophosphate. These effects results inhibition posttranslational farnesylation and geranyl-geranylation processing of small GTP-binding preoteins and inhibition of normal signaling activities. Method : We made several 5'-deletion constructs of rat ICAM-1 promoter and analyzed the promoter activities by measuring the luciferase activity after transfection into ECV304 cells and smooth muscle cells. We checked the level of total and phosphorylated STAT1 protein by immunoblot analysis using specific antibodies. Results : Lovastatin inhibits IFN-γ-induced ICAM-1 gene expression in the ECV304cell. The cells pretreated with PD98059, MEKK inhibitor showed significantly low ICAM-1 RNA induction with IFN-γ stimulatio. IFN-γ induced phosphorylation of tyrosine 701 was not significantly changed by the pretreatment of lovastatin. But lovastatin suppresses IFN-γ-induced phosphorylation of ERK1/ERK2 which are responsible for the seine 727 phosphorylation in STAT1. Conclusion : We showed that HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors, lovastatin, suppresses IFN-γ mediated ICAM-1 gene expression through the inhibition of transcription. HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor suppresses IFN-γ-induced phosphorylation of serine 727 in STAT1 through the modulation of MAP kinases.

      • 갑상선 세포에서 전사보조활성인자인 CBP와 CIITA의 인터페론-감마 활성 부위에 대한 조절 : CBP and CIITA on GAS(Interferon- γ Activated Site)-Mediated Transcription in Thyroid Cells

        Background : In the previous stuides, we identified that the interferon-r activated sequence (GAS) in the 5-flanking region of rat ICAM-1 gene is major element for interferon-r-inducible expression of the gene in rat thyroid cells, FRTL-5. We here, investigated the role of transcriptional coactivators, CBP(CREB binding protein) and CⅡTA (class Ⅱ transactivator) in the modulation of the activity of GAS which could interacts with signal transducers and activators of transcription-1 and 3 (STAT1 and STAT3). Methods : The expression of CBP RNA and protein were quantitated in FRTL-5 after stimulation with interferon-r (IFN-r), thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), forskolin and methimazole. Direct association of CBP with STAT were analyzed by immunoprecipitation. The transcriptional roles of CBP and CⅡTA in the regulation of GAS were assessed by the cotransfection with their expression vectors with reporters; 5-deletion constructs of rat ICAM-1 promoter or 8xGAS-luc constructs, into FRTL-5 thyroid cells. Results : The level of CBP RNA and protein were not changed by the treatment with TSH, IFN-r, forskolin and methimazole in FRTL-5, FRT and BRL liver cells. The CBP could be directly associated with STAT1. Furthermore, the overexpression of CBP significantly increases the both promoter activities; rat ICAM-1 gene promoter which has GAS element and 8xGAS-luc cassette constructs. However, the cotransfection of CⅡTA decreased the constitutive and CBP-mediated transactivation of rat ICAM-1 promoter and 8xGAS-luc cassette constructs. Conclusion : We identified that the two tanscriptional coactivators; CBP and CⅡTA has differential roles in the regulation of transcriptional activity of GAS drived promoter. CBP increases the GAS activity through the direct binding with STAT1, but CⅡTA inhibited the CBP-mediated transactivation of GAS activity.

        This paper describes the procedures and results of field surveys on the use of temporary pipe supports as a preliminary research on the estimation of structural performance of the supports. Question surveys and measuring surveys for the supports were performed in 25 construction fields. From the field survey results, the problems and improvement methods in the use of the supports were presented, and the experiment data for the estimation of structural performance of the supports were accumulated.

        Changes in Chitinase Activities during Hyphal Formation of Candida albicans

        Candida albicans의 변이균주에 N-acetylglucosamine과 올리고머의 형광성유도체를 기질로 이용하여 균사체 형성시의 키틴분해효소의 변화를 조사하였다. Yeast형태일 때에는 CHT3가 키틴분해효소의 주를 이루고 있었으며 β-acetylglucosaminidase는 미미하게 존재하였으나 균사 형성시에는 반대로 β-N-acetylglucosaminidase의 활성이 현격히 증가한 반면 CHT3의 활성은 상응하게 감소하였다. Using fluorogenic glycoside derivatives and different mutants of Candida albicans, it was demonstrated that the main chtinolytic enzyme in the yeast cell of this human pathogen is CHT3. In addition, hyphal formation in Candida albicans highly induced β -N-acetylglucosaminidase and exochitinase, while CHT3 was repressed during that period. This result indicates that cellular differentiation of Candida albicans involves the regulation of the chitonolytic enzymes.

        고크롬 백주철의 미세조직과 기계적 특성에 미치는 초기응고 조직의 영향

        Due to excellent abrasion resistance the high-chrome white irons are widely used in mining and mineral industries. Minor variation of carbon content in 28% chrome white iron resulted in difference in primarily solidified microstructure. Sub-eutectic (hypoeutectic) a) composition led to formation of primarily solidified dendrites. Formation of primarily solidified dendrites which were supersaturated with carbon and chrome also caused precipitation of fine secondary carbides that are different from relatively large plate type M7C3 carbides in the eutectic structure. Small portion of primarily solidified dendrite expected to contribute significantly to the improvement of abrasion resistance of the white iron because the dendrites provided mechanical support to carbides. The relative fraction of primary dendrite increased with reduction of carbon content from the eutectic composition. The increased fraction of primary dendrite increased hardness value of the white irons.
