        The objective of this study is to illuminate the value of performance as the source of knowledge in physical Education. In the pursuit of the above research objective the following things were considered; A) The current direction being pursued in physical education was examined. B) An attempt was made to clarify ‘physically derived knowledge’, under the premise that it should be centered as the unique domain of physical education. C) While re-interpreting the concept of physical education based of the premise of ‘physically derived knowledge’ the essential value of physical education was examined. D) The ideal course of development of physical education in relation to the mode of physically derived knowledge and the human originality and realization inherent in this were examined. Ultimately, through a re-eveluation of the current state of physical education we have attempted to illuminate the estrangement of physical education from it's core concern, that is, the value derived from movement by the human being. Futhermore, an attempt was made to identify that aspect of physical education which is unique only to physical education, that is, knowledge derived from human movement or from the physical demension of human existence.

      • 체육교육의 존재지향적 전개를 위한 기본적 탐색

        The purpose of this paper is to examine the current status of physical education so that its objectives and nature may be ascertained and an appropriate course of development might be found. According to Erich Fromme, the approach to life can be seen as either possession oriented or existence oriented. In the possession oriented mode even knowledge is seen as something which is possessed. Current physical education is based on the possession oriented approach. It is imperative then that physical education must reorient itself so that it might serve the existence oriented mode of being and facilitate the quest for the significance of this mode of being. As to the question of “Why is the recovery of this knowledge of existence inseperable from physical education?”. The reason lies in the fact that existence is experiential and physical education is the most fundamental of all forms of education when it comes to the experience of human existence. Physical activity is not an act of observation but requires direct participation. The thing which enhances this experience is the imagination. The imagination helps us take the experience of human movement to a higher level. The point which physical education must convey is that which the individucal personally discovers through direct experience. Therefore the essence of physical education can be summed up as “realization through movement.” In distinguishing the approach of physical education from other approaches, the following three points are salient; 1. Physical education emphasizes experiential physical activity. 2. The significance of expression is emphasized. 3. A physical way of thinking is emphasized. Be offerring the experience of physical activity to students, the beauty of human existence can be discovered and the significance of that kind of lifestyle might be realized. physical education then, in the midst of a diminishing sense of humanity seen in our mechanized civilization, will play a vital role in rediscovering this humanity and restoring its original from to mankind.

        해방후 학교체육의 이념과 그 결정요인에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate concept of Physical Education and factors which have been effected on Physical Education after korean liberation, 1945 to 1955. In these educational, social, political situations, some important factors are as follows; First, desire of democracy and new concept of new Education Second, consolidation of the anti communism because of the cold war and korean war Third, recognition about realities of physical educators who have taught the students at school. Due to these factors, the concept of Physical Education is focused on the democratization and popularization. But it has recognized a minor subject which strengthen health and physical training.

        절식보조음료 감로수(甘露水) 개발을 위한 선행연구: 증례보고

        감로수는 궁중음료인 제호탕과 동의보감의 생맥산에서 유래한 절식보조음료이다. 감로수를 이용한 절식요법의 보완과 향후 예정된 임상시험을 위한 임상지표 선정을 위해 정상인 1예, 비만인 1예, 고도비만인 1예를 대상으로 10일간의 절식요법 전, 후로 증례를 관찰하였다. 절식 후 체중은 평균 -6.3%, 체지방은 평균 -6.5%, 근육은 평균 -6.6% 감소하였고, 영양지표에 해당하는 RBC, hemoglobin, hematocrit, T-protein, albumin의 수치는 증가하였고 염증지표에 해당하는 hs- CRP, CRP, ESR, WBC 수치는 감소하였다. 절식 후에도 간기능, 신기능, 전해질수치는 정상수준을 유지하였고, 산화스트레스는 감소하였으며, 항산화력이 증가하는 결과를 나타내었다. 피로도는 절식 전보다 다소 개선되었고, 절식기 동안 불면 이외에 별다른 불편증상을 호소하지 않았다. 다만 혈중 빌리루빈수치 상승, 케톤 증가로 인한 체액의 약산성화는 절식요법을 시행함에 있어 추후 보완해야 할 사안이라 생각된다. 결론적으로 감로수의 디톡스 프로파일은 적합하며 관찰된 결과는 후속연구에 고려될 것이다. Gamrosu is a modified fasting therapy beverage (431 kcal/d). A retrospective observational study was conducted to investigate the detoxification feasibility of Gamrosu. Three cases were reviewed which participants have finished the fasting with Garmrosu for 10 consecutive days. Detoxification profiles of Gamrosu were reviewed at pre- and post-fasting sessions. Post-Gamrosu session, -6.3% of average weight, -6.5% of average body fat mass and -6.6% of average muscle mass were reduced with the nutrition indices being improved. The inflammation indices showed the significant diminished profiles. Liver/kidney functions and the standard of electrolytes were maintained within normal range in stable manners, however, marginal elevation of total bilirubin and mild ketoacidosis were observed. The indices of oxidative stress decreased and those of antioxidative activity increased. The fatigue scale scores indicated lower scores except insomnia symptom. Taken together, detoxification profiles of Gamrosu were sufficiently feasible and the observed findings should be considered for further clinical studies.

        Transformation of Mouse Liver Cells by Methylcholanthrene Leads to Phenotypic Changes Associated with Epithelial-mesenchymal Transition

        Environmental pollutants such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) have been implicated in cancer development and progression. However, the effects of PAHs on carcinogenesis are still poorly understood. Here, we characterized a mouse cancer cell line BNL 1ME A. 7R.1 (1MEA) derived by transformation of non-tumorigenic liver cell line BNL CL.2 (BNL) using 3-methylcholanthrene (3MC), a carcinogenic PAH. RT-PCR and immunoblot analysis were used to determine the expression level of mRNA and proteins, respectively. To determine functionality, cell motility was assessed in vitro using a transwell migration assay. Both mRNA and protein levels of E-cadherin were significantly decreased in 1MEA cells in comparison with BNL cells. While the expression levels of mesenchymal markers and related transcription factors were enhanced in 1MEA cells, which could lead to increase in cell motility. Indeed, we found that 7-day exposure of BNL cells to 3-MC reduced the level of the adhesion molecule and epithelial marker E-cadherin and increased reciprocally the level of the mesenchymal marker vimentin in a dose-dependent manner. Taken together, these results indicate that the process of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) may be activated during premalignant transformation induced by 3-MC. A mechanism study to elucidate the relation between 3-MC exposure and EMT is underway in our laboratory.

        한국 체육의 물적 토대 형성과정과 변화 전망

        The purpose of this study was to look on change of sports function of central administration department and sports function of local administration department, sports organization and human power which form sports infrastructure of 21 century as method for overcoming crisis conditions of Korea sports in the end of the twentieth century. In research result many change viewed to be rise up in sports infrastructure of 21 century. First, government will reduce intervention of market and emphasis role of market in 21 century. Also, government will reduce welfare division which responsible to government and will reduce intervention on sports of government. But sport for all have to maintain intervention of government until nongovernment organization and citizen will be operated autonomously in Korea. Also, government have to take charge of top level sports continuously. Second, Korea sports in the twentieth century generally depends revenue source on national treasury and seoul olympic sports promotion fund. But private resources will be superior to public resources in 21 century. This will be possible to through enterprise sponsorship, club dues by sports club's activation an own sport marketing of sports organization. Third, intervention width on sports of local government will increase by development of local self-government autonomy and sports for all works of central government will transfer to local government largely. Also, sports organizations in 21 century will exert himself for local's sports club and promotion of sports for all.
