The performance of high power LEDs highly depends on the junction temperature. Operating at high junction temperature causes elevation of the overall thermal resistance which causes degradation of light intensity and lifetime. Thus, appropriate thermal management is critical for LED packaging. The main goal of this research is to improve thermal resistance by optimizing and comparing nano-pore silicon-based thermal substrate to insulated metal substrate and direct bonded copper thermal substrate. The thermal resistance of the packages are evaluated using computation fluid dynamic approach for 1 W single chip LED module.

<P>This paper reports a compact bandpass filter with improved skirt selectivity using integrated passive device fabrication technology on a GaAs substrate. The structure of the filter consists of electromagnetically coupled meandered-line symmetric stepped-impedance resonators. The strength of the coupling between the resonators is enhanced by using a meandered-line stub-load inside the resonators to improve the selectivity and miniaturize the size of the filter. In addition, the center frequency of the filter can be flexibly controlled by varying degrees of the capacitive coupling between resonator and stub-load. To verify the proposed concept, a protocol bandpass filter with center frequency of 6.53 GHz was designed, fabricated, and measured, with a return loss and insertion loss of 39.1 dB and 1.63 dB.</P>

Heat Dissipation of Si-Based Packaging Module for LED Applications

The heat flow across a Si-packaging substrate and heat-sink assembly is a very important thermal challenge in many microelectronic applications. Through the well-managed fabrication methods, excessive heat can greatly reduces on the die or chip. In particular, LED (Light Emitting Diode) chip gives much more thermal stress to its substrate resulting in poor electrical and optical results. In this paper we report a CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation to investigate heat dissipation of Si-based packaging module in LED applications. The heat generated by the LED chip is dissipated directly to the Si-body through the large metal-plated platform. This method is suitable for high-efficiency and low-cost LED packaging.

We initiated a project to study the ecology ofP. apolloand the more common congenerP. nomion, whichis sympatric in Mongolia. One of our primary goals was to gather data onP. apolloandP. nomionbutterflyhabitat associations, including especially larval host plant species. We conducted our work in the borealtaiga forests of the Khentey Mountain Range in the southern Siberian ecological region of Mongolia. Wesystematically searched for suitable habitat for larvae and once we located caterpillars, we identified thehost plants and gathered data on habitat associations. We found bothP. apolloandP. nomioncaterpillarson host plants at several sites and evidence of eclosed pupae at a couple of sites, enabling us to identifythe host plants, a crucial piece of information needed to develop conservation programming and habitatmodeling. The host plant species were the stonecropsSedum aizoon,Sedum telephium(syn.Sedumpurpureum), andRhodiola rosea(syn.Sedum rosea). We further describe the habitat associations in whichwe found the caterpillars. For these butterfly species, the exact host plants in Mongolia remained un-known until we conducted this work.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate whether a deep learning reconstruction (DLR) method improves the image quality, stent evaluation, and visibility of the valve apparatus in coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) when compared with filtered back projection (FBP) and hybrid iterative reconstruction (IR) methods. Materials and Methods: CCTA images of 51 patients (mean age ± standard deviation [SD], 63.9 ± 9.8 years, 36 male) who underwent examination at a single institution were reconstructed using DLR, FBP, and hybrid IR methods and reviewed. CT attenuation, image noise, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR), and stent evaluation, including 10%– 90% edge rise slope (ERS) and 10%–90% edge rise distance (ERD), were measured. Quantitative data are summarized as the mean ± SD. The subjective visual scores (1 for worst -5 for best) of the images were obtained for the following: overall image quality, image noise, and appearance of stent, vessel, and aortic and tricuspid valve apparatus (annulus, leaflets, papillary muscles, and chordae tendineae). These parameters were compared between the DLR, FBP, and hybrid IR methods. Results: DLR provided higher Hounsfield unit (HU) values in the aorta and similar attenuation in the fat and muscle compared with FBP and hybrid IR. The image noise in HU was significantly lower in DLR (12.6 ± 2.2) than in hybrid IR (24.2 ± 3.0) and FBP (54.2 ± 9.5) (p < 0.001). The SNR and CNR were significantly higher in the DLR group than in the FBP and hybrid IR groups (p < 0.001). In the coronary stent, the mean value of ERS was significantly higher in DLR (1260.4 ± 242.5 HU/mm) than that of FBP (801.9 ± 170.7 HU/mm) and hybrid IR (641.9 ± 112.0 HU/mm). The mean value of ERD was measured as 0.8 ± 0.1 mm for DLR while it was 1.1 ± 0.2 mm for FBP and 1.1 ± 0.2 mm for hybrid IR. The subjective visual scores were higher in the DLR than in the images reconstructed with FBP and hybrid IR. Conclusion: DLR reconstruction provided better images than FBP and hybrid IR reconstruction.
유머가 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향과 정서성향의 매개효과

본 연구의 목적은 유머, 직무스트레스 및 정서성향과 관련한 이론적 검토를 통해, 유머의 구체화된 유형으로서 긍정적 유머와 부정적 유머가 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 한다. 또한 유머와 직무스트레스 간의 인과관계서 정서성향의 매개효과를 실증분석하는 것이다. 이에 몽골 기업 종사자에 대한 설문조사를 통해 조직구성원들이 어느 정도 직무스트레스를 지각하고 있으며, 유머가 그들의 직무스트레스에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는지를 살펴 보고자한다. 이를 통해 몽골 조직구성원들이 어느 정도 직무스트레스를 지각하고 있으며, 유머와 직무스트레스의 인과관계와 이들 관계에서 정서성향의 매개효과에 대한 실증적 분석을 통해 조직관리 시사점 제시하고자 한다. This study analysed the effects sense of humor of on job stress. Positive and negative styles of self directed humor were assumed to have opposing on job stress with personal affectivity. The objective of study covers Mediating role in the emotional relationship between humor and job stress was tested by means of our structural equation mongolian service organization. The survey questionnaire was distributed in an organization in Mongolia. This statistical program, SPSS 21.0, regression analysis was carried out to examine the hypothesis. The results of this analysis are as follows. First it was found the relationship of humor styles with job stress, Positive and negative styles of self directed humor were assumed to have opposing relationships with personal affectivity or job stress. Secondly, as a result Sense of humor has positive influence in reducing job stress. in the relationship between humor sense and job stress, there was a significant negative correlation between creating sense of humor and personal relationship. Finally, from this results, humor can be helpful factor for job stress with employees from psychological and economical problem that a directly linked to survival. and this study showed that sense of humor influences the job stress.
