      • Amorphus Selenium의 K吸收端 微細構造 硏究

        The K-abserpsion specterum of Amorphus Selenium were measured. The Speetrometer used is a single Crytal spectrometer which are modified a X-ray diffractometer. There have been several attemps to interpret the extented X-ray abserption fine structure(EXAFS) in terms of the final state interaction of photoelectron with surrounding atoms of the absorbing atom. The general formula of the EXAFS oscillations obtained for uncrystalline Selenium with unpolarized X-ray has been drived. Assuming only the single scattering atoms, the one electron theory with the Muffin-tin potential gives the absorption coefficient for the photoabsorption by an inner core electron with angular momentum. An inner-core electron absorbs the photon and is excited to the final continuum state with angular momentum above the Fermi level. The basic assumption made in the derivation of the formula on our calculation. 1) The absorbing atom phase shifts δ_l' are evaluated assuming neutral atom model. 2) In evaluating the backscattering amplitude f(π), the scattering phase shifts of photoelectron by surrounding atoms are calculated using the core wave function. The comparrison between theory and experiments shows a good agreement.

      • RHEED장치의 제작 및 특성과 이를 이용한 반도체의 표면연구

        표면구조 분석장치의 하나인 RHEED(Reflection HIgh Energy Electron Differaction) 장치를 제작 하였다. 전자총 부분은 관례적인 전자 현미경과 유사하나 진공 봉입 부분이 특별히 유리로 만들어 졌다. 전자 빔은 자기 렌즈로 접속 시켰으며 빔의 발산은 대략 1×10exp(-3) rad이었다. 실험은 초고진공상자 내에서 행하였으며 이를 이용하여 Si(111)와 CdS 단결 정의 RHEED 패턴을 얻어서 이론적으로 계산한 것과 비교 하였다. RHEED(Reflection High Energy Electron Diffraction) apparatus which is one of the systems of surface structure analysis has been constructed. Electron gun is similar to that of conventional electron microscope except that a vacuum seal part is specially made of glass. Electron beam is focused by means of magnetic lens, and the beam divegence is about 1×10exp(-3)rad. The experiments were performed in UHV system. With this apparatus we obtained RHEED patterns from single crystasls of Si(111) surface and CdS cleaved surface and compared the patterns with those calculated theoretically.

      • 동화합물내 동의 내각전자 결합에너지 변동과 EXAFS에 대한 연구

        동금속과 동화합물 CuI, CuF_2 결정내의 동에 대한 K흡수스펙트럼을 수 백 eV까지 확장시켜 측정하였다. 흡수스펙트럼내 K흡수단의 변동은 각각 2.6 eV, 12.9eV였다. 이 결과는 Srivastava의 VSP 모델에 의해 잘 설명되어지나, CuF_2의 경우에는 약간의 볼일치를 가져온다. 그러나 CuF_2에 대한 것은 이미 발표된 불화합물이 가지는 이상현상과 잘 맞는다. 우리는 앞의 세 시료에 대한 EXAFS조사도 하였는데 일반적 해석방법인 Fourier 변환의 부정확성과 불편을 해소하기 위하여 위상이동의 화학적 전이성을 이용하였다. 또한 시료의 특징을 살려 최인접원자에게만 주목하던 현재의 연구방법에서 더 나아가 차인접원자에 대해서까지 적용하였다. 측정된 차인접원자간 거리는 CuI에서 4.230Å, CuF_2에서 3.270Å였다. 이는 보고된 값과 잘 일치한다. 본 실험으로 위상이동의 화학적 전위성의 간편·정확성 재확인하였다. 차인점원자에 대한 분석으로부터 EXAFS에 있어서 다중산란에의 효과를 무시할 수 있는 타당성을 제시하였다. The extended fine structure of the K-absorption spectrum of copper in copper-metal, CuI and CuF_2 have been measured. The measured edge-shifts of K-absorption edges are 2.6eV and 12.9eV. For CuI, the results is well explained by Srivastava's VSP Model. For CuF_2, the reported anomalous penomenon for fluoride compounds is also observed in the chemical edge shift. EXAFS are analyzed by using the chemical transferability of phase shift for Cu, CuI and CuF_2. In this study, we take notice of the second nearest neighbor of Cu atom of these compounds in the analysis. The distances of second nearest neighbor and 4.230Å and 3.270Å. These agree well with the values obtained from X-ray diffractions. In the case of second nearest neighbor, it is confirmed that the application of the chemical transferability of phase shift is available and that the effect of multiple scattering in analysis of EXAFS is ignorable.

        측두부에 발생한 Cranial Fasciitis의 치험례

        Cranial fasciitis is a rare morphological variant of nodular fasciitis. It is characterized by a rapid growing fibroblastic proliferative lesion that develops chiefly in childhood. It has varying size and involves the soft tissues of the scalp and the underlying skull. Accurate diagnosis and surgical excision is the key to management. Prognosis is good with rare recurrence. We report a case of cranial fasciitis in the temporal fossa of a 20-month-old girl and present a review of the literature.

      • ZnS 螢光體의 結晶構造轉移에 따른 Photoluminescence 硏究

        A comprehensive study of ZnS : [Zn] and ZnS ; [Zn] Cu phosphors has been carried out by examining spectral distribution curves of emission during excitation by ultraviolet (3650 Å). Transition from the cubic form to the hexagonal one in crystal structure of ZnS occured at 1150℃. There were maximum peaks position in luminescence spectra of cubic and hexagonal structure at about 4650 Å and 4500 Å, respectively. By doping Cu as an impurity, maximum peak positions in both case were shifted to the long wavelength. These phenomena seem to be caused by interstitial defect due to impurity.

      • Methylene Blue의 분자회합에 미치는 용매효과

        A typical metachromatic dye, methylene blue(MB), has been found not to associate in ethanol, ethylene glycol, glycerol and 80 wt.% dioxane. The absorption spectra observed in the various kind of organic solvents are in good agreement with the calculated monomer spectra in both the shape and the absorption intensity. These results suggest that the water molecules play an important role in self-association of the dye molecules in aqueous solution. In this study, the changes in intensity and frequency shift of absorption spectra of MB are observed in the mixtures of water and organic solvents with the change in wt.% organic solvent. The discussions are made both upon the change in intensity and the frequency shift. The intensity changes are attributed to the change in the degree of association and the frequency shift is explained in terms of the interaction between the energy states of the MB molecules and the solvent polarity.

      • 현대 미국흑인영어 특징 연구

        This paper deals with modern American Black English vernacular as a partial study of American culture and language. Black English or what is called Afro-American English these days is regarded as non-standard English in the world but widely spoken especially not only among the lower class people of the Black community in the United States but also uneducated white people and some other minority subgroups such as Puerto Ricans, American Indians imitate it lot. This paper is mainly composed of six chapters; 1) Introduction, 2) Trends of contemporary noted figure's general opinions in the field of linguistic studies, 3) Origins and historical background of American Black English, 4) Growth and development of Black English in America, 5) Salient characteristics of modem American Black English, and 6) Conclusion. The writer enumerates in the main discourse some instances of Black English vernacular and analyzes them in the light of phonological, lexicological and grammatical dissimilarity in comparison to the standard English. He remarks and expresses eloquently his convictions in conclusion that the Black English in America is incorrect English but solely a particular ethnic group's dialect even though some non-Black community people and Black people use it frequently in everyday life on the Soul Culture Program on education television or in much audio-visual soft wares throughout the world today. Korean students and people who are learning English as a foreign language should be aware that this particular variety of socio-dialect in America is not acceptable absolutely in any official, public institutions or government agencies as bidialectal means of communication now and in the future to come. The writer feels with this limited study it helped him a lot to understand more about today's sub-American Black culture and their language structure.

      • Nickel 化合物의 EXAFS에 관한 硏究

        At Sufficiently high photoelectron kinetic energies, typically above 50 ev from the absorption edge, phase shifts are insensitive to chemical environment. Determination of φ_j(k) for an atom pair in a given model system of known distance r_j^m enable the determination of distance r_j^u in an "unknown" system containing the same atom pair. In the paper we are using NiSe as the known system and NiSe_2 as the unknown system. By the chemical transferability of phase shift, the distance between Ni and Se estimated 2.38 Å in Nise_2.

      • FSK 변조에 의한 CPM DS-SS 통신시스템의 단일주파수 잡음에 대한 성능평가

        This paper has analyzed the performance against a single tone jamming for the CPM DS-SS system with a Binary FSK Modulation. The CPM DS-SS system designed with the different phase shift of the same pseude-noise code has the advantage of reducing the jamming and interference effects on multi-users communication environment. Analytical results show that the system preformance improves by increasing parrallel users in he presence of the coherent single-tone, which is the worst interference since the jamming signal has the same frequency as a carrier.
